Grand Hotel Continental

Nice hotels, room was large and clean, view was to the pool and beach. Bathroom was ok, clean, included everything you need. We had family room with 2 bedrooms. We also saw both sunrise and sunset from our window. Hotel was quiet, staff was very helpful and friendly, they even gave us a private parking spot in hotel garage. Checkin and checkout was fast. Pool was large, clean, few people only, a lot space to relax, and lifeguard was always present. Beach was sandy, clean, a lot of sunbeds. There was a bar and restaurant near beach. Food in restaurant was very delicious. I recommend this hotel.

Pool was not in use at it was too early and before swimming season. Room was clean and very comfortable. Fitness studio was well equipped with a wonderful view to sea. Excellent breakfast buffet and very nice staff.

Almost nothing. Hotel was renewed a lot, compared to my stays pre-Corona. Room doors can be improved or exchanged as not noise protecting and you hear people talking and walking in front of your room as if they are inside your room.

Free access to beach. Massive swimming pool. Amazing coffee on breakfast. Good selection on breakfast. Helpfull staff. We been given free outside parking permit. We swaped room for other with balcony ( extra 20e per night). Very compfy bed, rooms are very clean, new bathroom.

I am not sure if hotel deserves 4* Very busy location, hard to find parking space over weekend. Few nights was very noisy oudside from nears restaurants (till about 1am) Pool and beach is closed at 7pm, it was still very hot at 7pm and I dreamed about more time in water.

Fabulous hotel. Mario the bar man made our stay 10/10 what a lovely man, when he retires the bar should be named ‘Marios’ the location was amazing. Room was so clean & the balcony faced onto the beach. The staff where amazing. We had an early flight home had to check out at 4am, the staff had pre ordered a taxi & made us a take away breakfast. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The pool was closed until May, but we still had the beach which made up for it

Breakfast was amazing , with the best choice of food we’ve experienced at a hotel. The cocktails were nice but annoyingly they wouldn’t take any cards just cash at the bar. Overall stay enjoyable. Pool and areas clean.

I would say the beds were quite hard which I didn’t find comfortable I was very much looking forward to having an evening meal in the restaurant but we didn’t through lack of choice and options we didn’t like so ate outside the hotel..

First of all I don't know why the hotel has so many bad reviews. When we booked the hotel we weren't sure because of the bad reviews. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Rooms and the hotel area are clean and looked after. We weren't supposed to have a balcony but we got a room with pool balcony view, what a great surprise. The staff is really friendly, helpful and nice. Room was cleaned every single day and had an air conditioning. The swimming pool is great with free sunbeds. The beach/sea is absolutely lovely. Otherwise breakfast was brilliant and we really enjoyed staying here. We would definitely come back!

Sunbeds for sitting up are free on the beach and if you want to have a lie down sunbed you need to pay for it which we didn't really like...

The room was nice enough but bigger shower or bath would be preferable. The pool and the beach were very good. Pool was at least 20meters long. Taxis are difficult.

The bar was a little small and pokey although well stocked. The breakfast was good but the breakfast area was long and narrow and an accident waiting to happen especially when the hotel was busy.

Great staff rooms cleaned promptly every day The cleaners were particularly good attention to details was exceptional The pool attendants were good as well all eyes on everything and everybody really helped people with disabilities and the more senior people

The breakfast could have had a little more cooked choices brilliant Would recommend

The hotel is located really close to the beach where you can use sunbeds and umbrella for free of charge (not every hotel offer this). Staff in the hotel and the restaurant is very friendly helpful and friendly. Even not everything is perfect but their kindness makes up for everything.

There is a club on the corner where there are quite loud parties starting from Thursday to Saturday so if someone needs more calm should ask a room not on that side of the hotel.

We enjoyed beach as well as pool, had a nice time House keeping staff was excellent

First day water should be complimentary as everybody does Breakfast was okay not good, as we dont eat pork but scrambled eggs was too smelly and boiled eggs was very cold cant eat. We requested for omelettes or Fried Eggs but manager asked for 8 euro for one omelette. Breakfast needs to be as per standards.
