Hotel La Pace

-very friendly staff, always smiling (sometimes too polite 😂) - very good breakfast with a lot of options - there was a small play area for the kids with crayons and papers to draw - super close to the train station

- at breakfast, even though it was past opening hour there were a lot of lids on the food which made it uncomfortable to see what was there, keep the plate and taking the food on the plate (just a small thing, nothing too bothering, but still worth mentioning) - the area is a bit strange, mostly at night with very strange people (I did not feel very safe and I would probably be very scared walking alone, as a woman)

The stay was really a delight and here’s why: I think they are really doing so many things right where even fancier places fail. - Very nice staff - Extremely nice interior, retro the good way, the breakfast room for instance - Such a huge, tasty breakfast buffet - Rooms where really everything is provided (soap and bodywash dispensers, mosquito repellent, aircon, a water heater (!!!) with tea and instant coffee, etc) - comfy beds - everything just works And a convenient location near the station. This was the best place on our trip, and it was by far not the most expensive.

Nothing I could think of!

The hotel is in a convenient location, only 2 minutes from Pisa central station and 10 minutes walk to the tower of Pisa. Close to central shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.The staff were all brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and giving great information. There was a fridge in the room with complimentary water and also tea/ coffee making facilities, which was both unusual but very welcome. There was also a mosquito plug in and tablets provided and the room had very efficient air conditioning. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel sent details of exactly how to get them the day before our arrival.

The only thing I would say is that our room was very dated and the window frame was rotten, making it hard to shut. Needs some refurbishment.

This hotel was in an excellent location for us, right by the station with a short walk into Pisa for sightseeing and food. The staff couldn't be more helpful and were really kind to our two children. The room was clean and well kept and had air conditioning and with an adjoining room and a large bathroom we had plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved our stay here and would book again if it was available at a reasonable price when we next.want.to visit Tuscany.

The beds were a bit soft and not great for our backs.

1. The hotel is located near the train station and also near the town historical center. The leaning tower is a little far, but within a reasonable walking distance. 2. The view was ok, we saw the backyard, the train station, and, very far, part of the airport. 3. The staff at the reception were very polite and cute, both during check-in and during check-out, when we left our luggage there, for two hours. 4. The breakfast is fabulous! Many varieties for everyone, including vegetarians. I liked the presence of the pancake machine, and of course the honeycomb. Surprisingly, the artichoke (carciofi) was delicious; it usually is bitter. But, at this breakfast, it tasted very good! when we return to Pisa, La Pace will be our first choice for accomodation.

1. Unfortunately, there was too cold in the room. The radiators are very old style, and they were not heating enough, even though i turned the switch to the maximum. 2. Also, the water pressure in the shower was not enough, it was barely leking, i could not wash myself very well. 3. When we arrived, the toilet was a little dirty! not much, but there was a little stain of feces... this is not ok! 4. there was no carpet in the room; only floor tiles; and this made it feel even colder... :)

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very nice and cosy - big extra for the room temperature, it was really warm while outdoors was quite mild / cold, so it was very pleasant returning to the hotel. Breakfast was also very good - great options from great pastry to fruits and cereals. Extra positive regarding the beds, great mattresses: very very very comfortable.

When I stood in the higher floor (7th) and the water pressure in the shower wasn't strong (from what I was used to) but I could take a good shower, and when I stood in lower floors (2nd) the water pressure was normal/great.

Breakfast fantastic. Location Brill. Less than 10min from airport. Taxi wa only €10 . Trainstation only 1min walk fro. Hotel. Pisa, only less than a 15min walk. Local restaurants not far from hotel good value food great and away from touris attractions

A cafe near the main wall, a short distance from the church and leaning Tower of Pisa charged a 20% service charge for 2 coffee at €2.50, chips at €3 and a sandwich at €6. Total price of €25. Ripped off. Even with the 20% added, the cafe would not accept we had been overcharged

The hotel made our five night stay in Pisa very enjoyable. It is located two minutes walk from the station which is perfect for arriving from the airport and for train trips to other cities. It’s a twenty minute walk through the city centre to the tower and cathedral. Our room was comfortable with a huge bed. The decor is a charming step back in time which adds to the experience. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. The manager and his staff are always smiling, helpful and efficient.

The hotel was really nice and in an excellent location. The staff were so friendly and helpful.It was a lovely to receive such a warm,friendly welcome when we arrived. Our room was bright and spacious, with a comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast was really good and by far the nicest we had during our 2 week trip to Italy. Unfortunately, we only stayed in this lovely hotel for one night which was our last night in Italy, would have loved more! Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Everything was super!

The location was really great very close to Pisa Centrale station which was good for us as our flight arrived late in the evening. The breakfast was amazing so good with such a variety of food including lovely fresh fruit and mini desserts eg tiramisu and yogurt with fresh fruit on it. The croissants were delicious, freshly baked and still slightly crisp- the best we have tasted in our trip to Italy. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel La Pace and it's very good value for money.
