Hotel Galilei

The hotel is a little far from the center, but it is perfectly possible to get there with a 20-30 minute walk, what for us was ok. We ended up arriving before check-in time and they let us into the room which was great. The room is a good size and was clean and spotless. Breakfast was also great for a hotel of this range price. Going to the airport is more challenging if you want to do it without resorting to a taxi. As we had backpacks we managed to get there on foot through the city center in a walk of about 40 minutes.

The only point that I think could be improved is the number of devices allowed to connect to Wifi. In a room with 2 people, allowing only 2 devices to connect in 2023 is completely outdated. With this limitation, I couldn't connect the computer to deal with work things, since 2 mobile phones were already connected to the network.

Good price - we needed a hotel close to Pisa airport after our late arrival before we continued our journey the next morning. We were travelling with our 2 year old so it was essential we could check-in and get to our room straight away, with a cot already in there for him. No problem for the hotel, they were excellent and everything was set up ready. The room was immaculately clean and we were happy with the standard of this.

The breakfast is really not good. Again, good value and fine,/does the job, but not good quality and no allergen info available.

We selected this hotel for its convenience to the airport. Expect a €13 - €15 cab fare to catch your flight, the reception desk helpfully arranged the taxi for us and it arrived promptly. Comfortable solid hotel - good buffet style breakfast.

Nothing. It's a 25 min walk into Pisa city and an affordable taxi ride back (go south of the river Arno to hail one). We didn't really use any of the hotel's facilities, so won't rate them. It was mainly convenient for us to catch an early morning flight.

Porter took my bags to the room for me, really helpful. Clean good size hotel room. Quiet room. Well equipped room. Good hotel close to airport. Expensive taxi ride to airport. Pleasant gents on reception. Evening dinner good for hotel dining.

Shower and cubicle needs upgrading. Had to miss breakfast due to early flight, was not told we could have arranged a breakfast box. Not even free coffee offered to us by reception before the early start. Attached restuarant, staff not very friendly but food good. Hotel bar closed at 11pm No access to getting cash, so unable to tip.

We've stayed at this hotel before in connection with flights to/from Pisa Airport so we knew what we were going to find. Room is a bit basic, but clean and tidy - sadly no tea and coffee facilities. Taxi from station was 12 euros, further 15 euros to the airport (quoted 25 euros for the airport shuttle). Breakfast was fine, taxi ordered came very quickly so all went smoothly.

Tea and Coffee making in room. TV didn't have the 1 BBC channel working. Little bit isolated, you can walk in to the city (we did last time, but a least 20 minutes along busy road).

The breakfast was good and open for a good, late time. Room very comfy and I liked that there was a TV there.

The whole colour scheme of the hotel felt rather dated and it's just off a motorway so you need to get taxis all the time if you do not bring a car. I felt that it was very expensive for the short amount of time we were there, but am aware we booked very late notice -- though the hotel didn't seem very full, judging from breakfast the next day.

Airport is nearby which is good. Breakfast was really good. Staff was very friendly. But the only issue is that taxi's from the landmarks to the hotel will be hard to find as Pisa does not have enough taxi's. Even by the apps, there are 0 taxis. From the hotel, there are very good amount of taxis. Overall experience was good

Very good location for those who need the airport close by. Tidy, well equipped hotel, quite a good choice for breakfast. Pleasant and courteous staff.

I don't think letting dogs into a restaurant for breakfast is a good idea. The dogs were cute, but they'd be followed by other guests who might be allergic to them.

Good hotel, clean room. I had everything what I needed. Breakfast was good.

There was a smell of old cigarettes smoke. Not the best location. You should spend 30-40 min by walk to the center. And sometimes it is hard to find a taxi in Pisa, especially in the night.

The breakfast was very good. There were enough options. Nice coffee. The location was very convenient, because of the proximity of the airport. We chose Pisa as main city and every day we visited one tourist site (Florence, Siena- San Tziminiano, Luka). We will surely recommend it!
