Grand Hotel Mattei

Excellent hotel, worthy of the 4 stars it has. Excellent buffet breakfast, large comfortable room, quality toiletries and towels/bathrobes, large comfortable bed, and adequate seating area/table. The minifridge in the room was not functioning. I told them in the morning and they acted on it promptly (i had not needed it myself)

The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere and not easily connected with public transportation. I knew this by looking at maps in advance and had a car, but it would have been a problem otherwise. Otherwise, nothing. Everything was great.

Reasonably new hotel. Staff were great. Breakfast was good with many choices … not gourmet, but just fine. Very quiet despite it being full the night we stayed.

It’s on the edge of town, so a decent walk to the sights. Observation, not dislike — it’s not 5 star. It’s nearer to a Holiday Inn than a Sheraton. As long as you know this you will not be disappointed.

The room was very spacious, the baby crib was good size and was waiting for us beforehand. We were able to have a car at a covered parking lot.

Some furniture was outdated, the bathtub had some mold at the edges and the shower glass was dirty. We also requested a shuttle bus to the port, but they apparently didn't forward the info to the bus company so we had a bit of trouble and barely got on the correct bus.

Good sized room, we were on the 8th floor so the views across the area were vast! its not anywhere near Ravenna centre, but we had a car so it wasn't a problem for us. The beach is about a 20 minute drive away and there are lots of them to choose from. We ate dinner here and the food was lovely. Breakfast was good too.

We got a really big room. The breakfast buffet was great.

The hotel is located outside the city. Since Ravenna seems to have only two taxis, it is quite difficult to get to the hotel.

There was comfortable bed and good breakfast. Also we liked parking our car right in front of the hotel.

It's quite far from everything. The hotel is standing little bit out of the old town of Ravenna. The furniture is moderately comfortable. For example, chairs are extremely hard.

great location for cruise stop, breakfast was delicious and room facilities were very clean and comfortable.

wifi didn’t work in our room, and the taxi service wasn’t poor but that’s more of a town issue, the staff were still helpful in getting one sorted.

The room was fine but quite compact

Wasn’t impressed with the breakfast,only had toast as the scrambled egg didn’t look edible .

The room was large and comfortable, but the lights were too dim. You need to give guests the option for brighter lights. The bathroom was perfect, as was the bed/pillows. Even the room service staff was very nice and helpful.

the food at the restaurant was wonderful, but the service was much too slow.

Nice size room with soft linen's, comfy bed and good shower. The room was supper hot when we arrived. We were told, no air conditioning - thank goodness for windows. Than the evening temperatures cooled off and we still were never able to control the air temps in the room. Maybe you just don't get heat or air in April?
