Hotel Centrale Byron

The hotel is in an exceptional location. Next to Plaza de Popolo. After exiting the hotel, the Tourist Information office is straight down the street (several blocks but enjoyable). The breakfast was very good - lots of options. I'm glad we got a Triple room, giving us more space and we could put out clothes on the extra bed.

The Wi-Fi was not as fast as I'd need for my remote work. It was good for phone connection and YouTube but not for my remote connection to my office software, which apparently takes a lot of bandwidth

This was my third stay at Hotel Byron. I find it a very friendly hotel, and it is ideally placed for exploring Ravenna, 10 minutes from the railway station and very close to the churches of the mosaic circuit. I had a single room, as I was travelling with a friend. I had plenty of space and my room was well-equipped. My bed was comfy and I had a good bathroom with a shower. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

The air conditioning worked perfectly in a terrible heat wave. There were plenty of towels and other supplies. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The best thing is that it was located right off the main square in this walkable city. We walked to see all the mosaics. It was even close enough to walk to the train station. I highly recommend.

Location was fabulous. Lovely breakfast. Very nice helpful staff. Our room was very tiny, but was fine for our purposes (traveling with my mother). Would 100% recommend.

Not the properties fault, but there are very few taxis in Ravenna. If you are taking a cruise, you must make sure you transfer to the port ahead of time or you may find it very difficult to get there.

Absolutely wonderful. For the price I paid, I got far more than expected! The staff were lovely (particularly Marco, who recognized a group of very confused looking tourists in the street and helped us check in!). Breakfast was wonderful, particularly the Hot Chocolate. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Property is located in the center to all the highlights of Ravenna. Walkable , restaurants, shopping. Only stayed for a night for our 7 days cruise trip in Greece. We surely want to go back and definitely to book this hotel for our next trip planning.

The staff were vvery friendly and well informed of activities in the city. Helpful with recommendations for restaurants to dine in. The rooms were very clean and were furnished with care.

Steps, there was a lift but still some steps involved to our room. We were active enough to use them.

Location and staff are great

The room was very small, but despite this, we didn't manage to cool it down by the cooling device overnight. Due to covid restrictions the breakfast was a bit limited and it was not clear how and what is possible to get.

Great property right in old town Ravenna. Great breakfast and coffee. One of the servers even brought my coffee to my room for my husband! So friendly even though we didn't share a language. Only problem was there was a heat wave early in the spring and they didn't have their a/c working yet. They had it working on our return stay. I would highly recommend.

The location of the property is great, the people are wonderful and the local cuisine is excellent. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with our requests about local services and shopping options.
