Hotel Cristoforo Colombo

We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel! From airport it is the best to take a taxi (15-25 min.) We travel by bus (5 min walk to other side of the mainroad) to the metro-station EUR FERMI and could go to all the nice sightseeing of Rome! Buy the special travelcard for metro/bus at the busstation (2 days for 12,50 euro) The breakfast was excellent and a lot of choices and perfect coffee. The room was very clean, beds are perfect and also a small fridge. Price/quality was really good, we will come back!

We missed some closehangers. The dinner in the restaurant in this hotel was not 4 stars... the staff did really their best, but need other chef in the kitchen and better quality food. Also we didn't know about the big shopping center next to this hotel... this communication could be a bit better. But this is really no problem, we will come back, thanks for hospitality!

Hotel is worthy of 4 star, nice lively pool and reception area, room was comfortable, loved the balcony and the view from our room. Breakfast is very good with caffetria and plenty of bakery option however not much of vegetarian savoury options. Location is not to bad either. If you have day or anyother public transport pass, get off at Eur fermi metro stop to Laurentina, take the stairs to exit the station, cross the road, go down the stairs to the park where bus stops are, you can take 70, 700, 709 and 705 buses for 15 mins bus which stops right in front of hotel at colombo pacifico stop.

When you add breakfast and city tax €6/pp it adds up to be expensive considering hotel is out of the city centre.

Nice hotel, very comfy rooms and spacious, Average breakfasts, but the coffee is excellent. Big shopping mall right behind the hotel with lots of stores and restaurants.

Quite far from the city center, bus station at 5min walking and metro station at 20 min far away from the hotel.

Facilities were very nice and clean, free parking with plenty of space, breakfast options were good. Its next to a huge mall, so plenty of shopping options

Public transport connectivity is not the best. A public bus takes you to the metro station line b from the hotel. But the issue is bus tickets are not available at the hotel or any vending machine or any Tabak store nearby, so the legal and safe option is a 30 min walk to the metro station where tickets are readily available. It would be helpful if the hotel arranges for bus tickets to the metro stop. The restaurant closes earlier without any prior reservation and it would be helpful to mention this during check in, we had to order food via a delivery service as we found the restaurant was no longer taking orders even though it was still within the listed timings

Excellent staff especially from the restaurant. Room was clean.

Location is very bad especially if someone wants to use public transport. The buses near the hotel have poor frequency and reaching tourist attractions can easily take 1.5hour by public transport.

The free breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. It was great! The hotel is very clean. We stayed for 4 days and our room was cleaned daily. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. The bus stop is very close to the hotel as well as a huge mall.

The beds are great but the pillows are uncomfortable. They do provide extra pillows in the room but still flat. I've stayed in other hotels in Rome and Greece, the pillows are all flat so it was expected. They have a hair cap policy for the pool. Not a big deal, we had caps but many people entered the pool without caps not knowing the rule. Proper signage would have been better.

The property is adjacent to a very big mall and has a short cut entrance which takes about 2 minutes. It is very close to the bus stop servicing Rome. There are many options to choose from. Very clean, nice food and great pool with nice temperature. Very friendly staff also. If you need a taxi, speak to reception and they’ll organise one to arrive in 5minutes. Very difficult to get Uber or FREENOW with cancellations and searches of more than 30min. It takes 20min to get to the airport with normal traffic. Perfect if you want a break from loud and busy Rome. And there is a bathtub.

Okay, there were many coaches and guests who arrived during my stay. Unfortunately by 6am, the coach engines were revving up outside my windows. Lots of suitcases were being towed to and fro non stop. The guests were making a lot of noise. I could not sleep after that.

We are from Turkiye so our breakfast culture more than croissant and coffee :) And really difficult finding big breakfast in Italy. But i can say that, the breakfast in this hotel is enough for us, scrambled or boiled eggs, mozerallas or other kind of cheess, olive and olive oils, yogurt (with fruit or plain) that is reproduced with bacteria not gelatine, green and black tea, 4 kind of bread, salad, tomatos, fruit, cereals, nutella, marmelades and of course croissant that was really quality likes from a good patisseria. And after all eating of course you should drink coffee :) espresso, lungo, americano or cappucino.. and others. If i find turkish coffee ,i wouldnt be surprised. :)))

The resturant had very great food when it had a la carte. It was great that the room had a balcony, and the room was cleaned almost every day.

The hotel is quite far away, and the bus system were a bit difficult for a tourist, it was manageable but still difficult. The last night the resturant only had buffet, with a small selection. There were busses parked right outside the balcony that kinda destroyed the view a bit. Also we found a dirty underwear on the floor in the room when we first entered the room that was a bit naughty.
