Hotel American Palace Eur

I didn’t like that I had to pay extra tax at checkout. If I’m paying tax to book the room why do I have to pay you more tax when I am checking out of a hotel room. I never experience that in my life. Seems like a scam to me and I wonder if any other customers experience the same??

asif in reception is a real gem. he is polite, always smiling and a real professional. he goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and is very helpful. The hotel is clean modern, near the metro and everything functions really well. The rooms are adequate and the hotel is quite but very accessible. We have stayed for 10 nights and my wife and i will definitely come again and recommend to friends and family. Please keep more people like Asif, and the really friendly room girl, Michelle.

The breakfast fast are very unfriendly snd impolite. They never share a smile, they never look at you and are all working like that are forced to. They are not accommodating and looks like they would not smile even if you paid them extra; they are very abrupt and “gastapo-like “

-room was daily vacuumed. -hotel was near metro station. -there was a safe box in the room.

-very hot in the room (28-29 degrees, although it was the 15th of November). There was no air conditioner, and we couldn't open the window cuz was noisy outside and the mosquitos were very "hungry". They pinched my daughter and it took 1 month for the sign on her face to disappear. -we had just 2 coffee capsules for 2 adults and 4 days. If you wanted more, you had to pay. -no hotel slippers. -the breakfast was the same every day, the omlette had no taste and the the food was low quality

The room was lovely and very clean. Great shower, everything worked well within the room and it didn’t smell of smoke (which was a concern of ours). The restaurant was willing to accommodate weary travelers even though we arrived at 9:50 and they were cleaned up for the evening. It truly was a lovely surprise!

The breakfast was terrible. The bacon was barely cooked, not many choices, way too many people and not enough tables. The hotel would benefit from a reservation system to ensure there is not overcrowding. I received an email stating a shuttle would drive us to the Rome airport for free but then we were charged 65 euros on the day of. The driver stood there and watched me moved my luggage outside to hi vehicle while he sat inside the lobby and then waited a few minutes and introduced himself.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and everything was great. The hotel has a good location close to a bus stop and a metro station, making it easy to get around the city. Unfortunately, on the date I stayed, the metro was under renovation, and on weekends and weekdays after 9 pm it didn't work, so I ended up using the bus (which takes longer due to traffic). The people who work there were kind, and the breakfast has a good variety of things to eat, drink and there was always someone to prepare coffee, cappuccino, etc., which I liked a lot.

The only observation is that the room I stayed in, the light that warns that there are people in the room was not working, so the lady who cleaned the room had to knock before entering (which is not a problem, as the lady was very kind, but it's just a remark to tidy up the light).

Cleanliness and location is perfect with plenty of parking, same block as the subway and bus terminal, Ciccio’s And a great gelato shop around the corner, Viale Europa where all the clothing stores are 3 blocks away, and also walking distance to convenience store and three pizzerias. Hotel restaurant was great too. I went 5x in 12 days. Very friendly staff.

No fitness center like booking.com states but beautiful place. Great value.

This hotel was convenient for my attendance at the Formula E races in Eur. Short walk to the Metro. The staff were nice and the breakfast had a wide range of choice. The room was a decent size with a large tv and really good air conditioning. The room also had a mini bar sized fridge which was appreciated during the heat wave. There are also vending machines outside the lifts for cold drinks and snacks.

Wi-Fi was not strong at night when guests had returned to the hotel.

Wonderful breakfast with lots of options and great coffee. I loved the cappuccino! The employees are always eager to help and/or answer your questions. Located near a Metro station. The hotel is well-maintained, looks modern and the rooms are very clean.

Parking in front of the hotel to unload the luggage is pretty chaotic. Well, Rome is not easy with parking in general.

The staff was super friendly, the room was very clean, and full choice breakfast made our stay even better. The hotel is absolutely worth its price.

The location is a bit far from the centre but there is metro station nearby and you can easily reach the city centre. There are also several supermarkets and cafes nearby.

Clean, tidy and spacious room with en suite, housekeeping waere great and catered to our every need. night manager was brilliant when we checked an, very friendly and provided guidance on where to get food from since we checked it around 1am. location was awesome, around the corner from Laurentina metro station which was within 10-15 mins to the main attractions. would not hesitate to ret return to this hotel, it was so good I recommended it to my friend who decided to book a last minute trip to Rome after we left!
