Casada Montani is really well located. close to everything. beds are very comfortable and rooms are very clean. Andrea who runs the place is very helpful, professional and has amazing advice. which is very helpful when you have only a few days to visit. he is a real gem thank you!

the place starts to be run down. stains here and there on the walls, holes in curtain, shower leaking a bit but in general it’s ok and very clean which is the most important ! but it’s hard to give a objective review as I feel like in Rome you don’t get much for what you pay so maybe I am too picky! and honestly I would stay there again without a doubt.

Staff and location was great. Right beside the metro and the main tourist areas. 20 or so mins walk to Vatican, Colosseo and other main attractions. Nearby Villa Borghese offers an alternative to the bustle of the city. Bit noisy on the street below but the windows muffle the sound very well. The building overlooks the historic Piazza Popolo Gates and has an antique style elevator with wooden doors, which was a delight. Andrea our host was very helpful indeed and made us feel very welcome. Recommend for couples or those travelling with 1 child.

Breakfast served in bedrooms was a little troublesome since there was no dining table, just a chair and bedside table. FIne for a couple but awkward for anyone travelling with a child. A wee table by the window overlooking the Piazza Popolo gates would have been cool.

I’m usually one for changing it up when I revisit a city, however I can honestly say I would go back to Casa Montani in a heartbeat, the next time I visit Rome. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived; the room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to your door within minutes. Netflix on the TV. Location was at the heart of all tourist sights (and despite this, the room was very quiet!) Thanks to Giuseppe for making our stay so lovely.

Our dirty clothes were in a plastic bag and mistakenly taken by the cleaner. We didn’t feel enough was done to try resolve this issue. I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying at Casa Montani however, it really was a lovely place to stay in Rome.

Double bed was very comfortable. We definitely loved a large smart TV when we wanted to rest after the trip. The room was very clean and nicely organised. The location was excellent (10 sec to metro, 1 min walk grocery store). It is very close to the shopping street and square as well.

The gate system (webpage) was smart but maybe a little inconvenient. I would prefer a traditional key because sometimes our phones were out of batteries. I also suggest the hosts to put a sign “open the door with your right hand” because both of us got a small cut(?) when opening a door with a left hand. A very small incident but maybe not safe for children or older people.

Location is excellent, subway and bus stops are right outside. A great Cafe and restaurant are right next to the entrance. Giuseppe and the cleaning staff are very friendly and inviting. Room was very clean and comfortable. The major attractions are 10-20 mins walking, and Piazza del Popolo is right across the street. Our favorite gelato place is across the Tiber River, we went there times, wish we could have gone more times. There's also a place to fill up water in the Plaza across the street. It's along the right side as you're walking towards the plaza from the hotel.

Beautiful family-style hotel with only 5 rooms. As we took up 3 rooms, we had most of the space to ourselves. Andrea was lovely and helped us with recommendations and booking restaurants. Location was also great, we could walk everywhere! No more than 30 min walk.

As this is a smaller hotel, there wasn’t a restaurant for breakfast so we always had breakfast in our rooms. Slightly inconvenient and uncomfortable. Also the breakfast selection was limited: more croissants and cold cuts than fry-up.

Perfect spot for a couple! We were able to walk to most locations and sites from Casa Montani but not in the middle of the crowds which was nice. There’s a convenience store, the train station and a great little cafe downstairs. The room was tidied each day and check in was all via an app On arrival staff gave us a big list of local food recommendations which were very helpful so we could avoid the tourist traps.

Ideal for 3 nights max as the rooms are fairly quaint. But otherwise perfect

Very comfy beds and sofa bed my son used was also comfy (not always the case with sofa beds). Location was excellent & so convenient for sights, shops, metro. Staff very accommodating and kids found it a treat to have breakfast delivered on a trolley. Croissants were some of the best I have tasted in our 2 wks in Italy and lovely to have fresh fruit every day. I got some great tips from staff (Charlotte) of kid friendly restaurants. The lady who served our breakfast every morning (sorry don't know her name) was delightful.

Sockets in room for charging phones etc. are problematic. Not all of them work & some seem to have loose connections so did not always charge. The light in the living area of our room (234) where the sofa bed was could have been much better - One standing lamp is not enough & at night quite difficult to see. A ceiling light would improve it. Would have been nice to have had a bed linen change at least once during our stay to heighten the feeling of luxury.

The accommodation is perfectly located within walking distance of all the main attractions. It was easy to reach and the nearby subway was also useful in other ways. The staff was the friendliest and most professional. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the rooms in the morning and good value for money. We could have enjoyed it on our lovely little balcony which would’ve been the icing on the cake, but unfortunately the weather was a little too cool for this.

There are so many things we loved about this property starting with the location. We absolutely love the piazza del polpolo. we never had to get a taxi to go to dinner - with a child that was a huge plus. Andre at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. He even had amazing patience with our active three year old!!

We were worried there wasn’t much of a lobby but there is a beautiful sitting area that absolutely met our needs.
