Hotel Valadier

Wonderfully cordial and helpful staff, excellent location for walking around Rome, lovely rooftop restaurant with fabulous view of Villa Borghese, delicious and sumptuous breakfast and dinner menu, classic decorative touches throughout the hotel. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom had a great rain shower. Enjoying the piano bar would have made it perfect but it was closed due to Covid. Next time hopefully!

The room was incredibly small, and barely anywhere to open our luggage. No hooks or towel racks in bathroom. The only closet was tiny with a rack too high to reach comfortably. Shampoo tube was dried up and empty, glad we had our own. But it was worth it!

Breakfast was poor . Fruit has hard and slimy. You ordered all items of a menu with each item arriving on a separate plate. Hardly enough room to eat. Orange juice was very poor. We didn’t sleep well both nights given the hotels street bar below our room that was noisy until well after midnight and then the disco above us going much later. We were in a front facing room on the 4th floor.

The room was for one person, so it was a happy, and cozy space, that others might call small, but I loved it. It was so very clean, and the linens smelled so fresh and clean. It was great to be able to open the window for fresh air, because the air was cool in the evening and overnight.

My room was over the street side of the building and the noise from the cars, people and cafe/restaurant downstairs never stopped. Even at 3:00am. It wasn't possible to sleep with the window open for long because of the noise, and the air conditioner was also noisy, so I couldn't sleep with the window closed either. Next time I would ask for a quieter room that is not on the street side of the building.

Perfect location, very nice roof top for breakfast, extremely polite and nice staff (especially reception and guy welcoming guests at the front door), very good that we could have a room with a small separate bedroom as we were traveling with my wife’s baby sister.

Nothing that I disliked. Took two days to arrange a baby seat. not a big deal but a little bit annoying. I would recommend to better up the quality of the juice at the breakfast (I think the cost/benefit of offering a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice for free would be worth it since the impression in all other areas of the breakfast are very good).

We have been upgraded regarding the room and despite few negative comments we found the hotel worth for the money spent. The staff very kind and helpful. The room very clean. A beautiful terrace where to take the breakfast and they have all you need. The location is perfect and very central in Rome near all the most important amenities. If back in Rome I would consider to come back in this hotel.

Maybe I would change perfume is all over the hotel, maybe I am very sensitive to the smell.

The room - I have had better and for the first couple of days it was very hard to find. Room 516 was up the lift, then up a flight of stairs, along a corridor, then down two flights of stairs, and along another corridor. The bed was very uncomfortable and the two pillows were like bricks. The room had no ventilation and I ended up opening the door to the little balcony to get some air. My husband found this very noisy and couldn't sleep but there was no apparent alternative. Lastly the plugs for charging our phones were no where near the bed - so couldn't use the phone as a clock

beautiful hotel in a great location right in the center! the staff was amazing and the room service (housekeeping where amazing ) . we will recommend for sure this hotel to our friends and family and we will choose this hotel each time we will be back ! Grazie Mille .

-the restaurant for the lunch (Brillo I thing was the name ) is the less that we liked about this hotel . the staff was great but we didn’t enjoyed the food :( -the breakfast was good but same everyday with just a few changes . for the quality of the hotel I thing a little attention to the breakfast would be phenomenal.

The room was small but enough for the both of us (with a balcony), it was clean and A/C worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable! I loved the interior of the hotel with lots of smaller copies of the famous sculptures and art pieces. It was very romantic. :) A big shoutout and thanks to the receptionist Francesca for recommending us many great restaurants in which we could enjoy the taste of carbonara and other italian dishes. ❤️❤️ Also, there was many more great service people in the hotel and both restaurants, everyone was kind and helpful to us. :) It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

The shower pressure was a bit too low and the housekeeping forgot to bring toilet paper and amenities a couple of times (it wasnt a big issue though). There was no smart tv or at least a chromecast.

Good location for tourists who visit Spanish Steps, via Condotti, or the restaurants, coffee shops nearby, which are quite a lot, Vatican, Castel Saint Angelo, safe surroundings, the best area for shopping, nice and helpful staff. Very interesting interior design in dark colours (glossy black, dark brown, green, the bust statue of Scipio Africanus for example), large mirrors in the rooms, rooftop bar good for a quiet and discreet dinner or just for a drink, piano bar on the ground floor.

The room was a little bit small.

The Hotel is located in the heart of Rome's historic center, in one of the shopping streets of Piazza Navona, and only a few minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo. The rooms are nice and cozy, well-warmed, and the beds are comfortable, we also went on the rooftop where we could enjoy some delicious cocktails and the view was quite amazing. The Reception staff is kind and helpful, we found the bags in our room at check-in time, and they allowed us to leave the bags few hours after the check-out time, so we could enjoy a nice walk around the city. Is a place where I would definitely come back to if I find myself in Rome.
