Villa Zaccardi

A wonderful experience! We stayed in the hotel for a whole week. Villa Zaccardi will be the right choice if you want to stay a little away from the hustle and bustle of the center. Helpful and kind staff, clean room that was cleaned every day. Very tasty breakfast with a wide selection, delicious coffee and cappuccino, the hotel also has a restaurant. Very good public transport connections from the hotel area. Tram and bus stops are located near the hotel, and all important tourist attractions are within easy reach. Thanks to the staff!

My wife and I didn't plan out our last hotel during our Italy trip, we wanted a value/budget hotel and we loved our three nights here. Breakfast was really nice and gave us a variety of food--the service is a a buffet style, but there are servers that ask you if you want a freshly made cafe/cappuccino and will bring you whatever you need. The front desk and the cleaning staff was so attentive and wanted to help whenever they see you. There's an elevator!

The bed isn't very comfy--but with mattress toppers it would be the perfect place if you don't want to stay close to the noisy parts of Rome.

Clean and new boutique hotel with a lovely garden bar and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Although the hotel is not close to the city center, it is well connected with several bus lines. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. Around the hotel, there are several very nice restaurants and the central park in Rome is a 20-minute walk away.

My room overlooked the street and the hotel's garden. There was usually some music in the garden bar until 23:00 or midnight. I liked the music and the ambient, so this was not an issue for me, but bear this detail in mind for those seeking absolute peace. :)

The Hotel has an interesting format, right at the entrance you can see the reception in the background and there is a bistro at the front. Which makes the place very welcoming. Alessandro and Alessandra served us very well and were very nice to help us and take us to check-in. Bed as very good, and the windows and the balcony shows a nice landscape. The bus stop is near. So easy to take and go to downtown. And a Tabbacco shop to buy ticket is near on the right side of the Hotel. The breakfast was very good. We were well attended to and there were several options.

The bathroom sink was clogged and the bathroom is very small. But as we stayed for one night, we ended up tolerating it so as not to waste time.

We were here 6 years ago. Now they are bigger with a new look. A great breakfast is included, they have a restaurant and a Lounge. We spent every evening there for a while. The rooms are spacious with everything you need including a fridge. The shower is wonderful. The staff tried to fulfill every wish we had.

The small tram which stopped in front of the hotel is now under reconstruction. So we have to take a bus and often it didn’t work. So it could be a bit far away from everything. But therefore the neighborhood is not very touristy, so you can calm down and relax!

Staff were amazing - especially lady on reception, Marco in the bar, breakfast and daytime waiter staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was varied and tasty, so was the restaurant food. I had the best aperol spritz at Villa Ziccardi! The room was clean and beds comfortable - we had a great sleep. Location is great - 15/20 mins on bus to Trevi Fountain (number 8) stop basically opposite the hotel. And also short bus ride to Trastevere area. 15 min cab to Vatican (€13) - reception can book and the taxi will come within 5 mins. Highly recommend a visit!!

There was no kettle in the room. But the bar was open from early til late and the Lipton tea (yellow label) was great! Normally a Yorkshire Tea drinker, enjoyed it and will be looking in local shop.

The breakfast was great, it had enough options to subside your appetite. The coffee (espresso, cappuccino) was available upon request, and it was very good. The restaurant (bistro) was excellent with a great menu and delicious red house wine. The staff was delightful and very helpful.

The facility is very nice but it can be a little loud at times due to high traffic. It's recommended to keep your windows closed.

Breakfast was superb. Nice selection of food, attentive staff, especially Joy (maybe his name is) big thumps up!! Also surprised my mum with a little sweeet selection on her recent birthday.. Nice stay

The location is a downside (only if u really care), i did not mind that much however 30min tram ride to the center. Its fine. Everything else is fab!

Contemporary and modern and very clean. Very close to tram line and bus stop that take you straight into Rome. All of the staff were welcoming, professional, friendly and polite… nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, offering a good variety each morning. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a great shower! Housekeeping was excellent!

It's a very good value accommodation, they also have a bar/restaurant downstairs and prepare very good cocktails there. The hotel is located very near to Trastevere so there are good connections to the airport and there is a tram and buses scheduled frequently that stop just in front to take you pretty much everywhere around the city centre. It is clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly.

Areas of improvement: - a/c which didn't work and got very hot in the evening. However they kindly offered us an electric fan. Not sure if the a/c is meant to work only in summer though.
