Hotel Ripa Roma

The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was spacious with very comfy beds. Although not centrally located to the major tourist sites, we were ultimately glad we stayed here because we liked the Trastevere area much more than central Rome.

The showers were outdated and it was very hard to take a shower without flooding water all over the floor.

Room - large, comfortable, bathroom well designed, clothes storage ok but a little weird. Good insulation against sound from other rooms. Breakfast - great, lots of variety, well laid out, nice areas to sit and eat. Staff - warm, friendly, helpful.

Room - Bad lighting in evening if you had to work. This was a serious problem. TERRIBLE view - ugly - would have been better to have a screen or something on the outside of the balcony instead of looking at the decaying building across the way. Depressing. NO WAY TO GET GOOD COFFEE BETWEEN 10 AM AND 5:30 PM -- BIG PROBLEM. There was a tiny Nespresso in the hallway, but you had to ask the desk for each coffee pod and for milk pods. No way to get anything but that. And it was a good 10-15 minute walk to a place you could get coffee. Since the hotel is somewhat isolated and far from restaurants, it's really important to have a good coffee service all day long.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at RIPA ROMA and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect, particularly in terms of accommodation and breakfast. Now, let's talk about the breakfast. From freshly baked pastries and bread to a selection of locally sourced fruits and cheeses, the breakfast spread was both extensive and delicious. Location was great to the nightlife of Trastevere. Room was spacious, lobby decor was fun and "hip", Breakfast was terrific as was the room it was served in which was large and bright and prettily decorated.

Power was out in restaurant/bar area but no-where else was affected. The lighting in the room itself was absolutely awful. Especially in the bathroom, one could not see in the mirror. There were wires that were connected to the junction box that looked like they were unsafe. There were some nice touches in the decor that seemed expensive that could have been spent on better lighting.

The location is good, like 10 minutes walking from Trastevere center, which we loved the area. Service is good, we had a suite and was big enough for us 4. They have a restaurant and bar, however we did not go. The funny thing is that every time you leave the room, you need to hand the room key at the reception and ask for it when you returned, which was odd. It had pretty decor. They schedule taxi service for us because we had to leave to the airport early and this was a plus.

The only thing that I have to says is that is a bit expensive for the location.

I like the location, not far from the city attractions and the hotel crew were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel waiters at the restaurant were very unfriendly, I went for dinner at the restaurant and I am not happy with their service.

The hotel and room was lovely and clean! Upon arrival we were given a free upgrade to a suite which was brilliant and we absolutely loved the room. We had some drinks at the hotel bar a few times which were delicious and the staff were great. The hotel is on a quiet street a few minutes walk away from the centre of trastevere which is ideal (and means you get a peaceful sleep at night) and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The central Rome attractions are walkable (20-30mins) or there is a bus stop nearby (take the 75 or H) which takes you to the centre. Would highly recommend this hotel for a Rome stay!

you can hear noise from your neighbours. And the chips at our room already been opened, they did not bring us new one.

The room was clean, spacious, and overall lovely. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and tasty. Also, the location was very convenient (the city center was 30 min walk away), especially for visiting Trastevere.

The staff was rude at times (nothing too bad, though). Although it was somewhat expensive, I think it has excellent price-value ratio.
