Relais Villa Selvatico

The warmth of the welcome was second to none. So friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional and had we known that evening meals were available for residents, I'm sure that that would also be fantastic. We have stayed at 12 properties during our 2023 European tour and this has be by far the best. We used it as a base for visiting Venice but we found Rocade delightful also.

The only issue we had was that the air conditioning seemed ineffective and we were very warm at night. We didn't mention it to the staff and it didn't detract from what was otherwise a fantastic and all too short, two night stay.

It is a very nice old-fashioned Villa with a big garden infront, so you can chill there in the morning/evening. Everything was really clean. The employees were really kind and always willing to help/serve you. Right next to the property there is also a fantastic restaurant. Shops (Aldi, Eurospar,...) are just a few minutes walk away from the property.

Airconditioning in the rooms would be a very nice addition and would make the stay there perfect.

Easily accessible by car. Calm place. The mattress is comfortable. Discreet but always present owners. There is a small coffee machine and coffee capsules daily for free in the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, but a portioned menu on a tray, but it is varied. Good cappucino.

There was no heating at the beginning of November and only a thin, old plaid was there as a blanket. We received a small heater upon request. The lights in the room were very poor, there was only a sigle bedside lamp on one side of the double bed and one wall lamp. There was 1 chair for two. The taps are not working properly. The villa needs renovation. I recommend it for max. 1-2 nights.

The ancient villa is such a wonderful place. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is a small coffee machine and coffee for free at the rooms what we appreciate so much. Fridge is full with drinks (for a small charge). Near the villa is a shopping mall (Aldi, etc.) as well. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They serve every day different and very delicious breakfast. Its possible to visit nearby cities by car - Treviso, Venice, Padova, Verona, Caorle, Lago di Garda etc. We recommend this villa so much. Such beautiful and calm place with excellent services is rare to find. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Very benevolent hostess and nice place near the main road. So, if you travel by car it is the nice choice for short stay, but not longer ) Because, the villa is small and it wasn`t very comfortable to be outside the room, nor much spaces for this. But it`s perfect for one night stay for visiting Venice. We spent there amazing Italian Easter! And we were welcome to be with the owners, sharing food together. It looks the same like on photos.

I booked the room on very short notice, still my room was prepared with a personalised welcome letter. After check-in, I received a welcome drink in the garden, and they booked me a table at the bistro next door for a very nice dinner. Room was very clean, and was a nice combination of keeping the house old style, but with a modern touch in the bathroom. Breakfast was prepared as per my requests, and served again in the garden. All staff are very friendly, and do everything to make your stay a perfect experience. I can 100% recommend this place, and the restaurant / bistro next to it!

There was nothing I did not like!

Whenever you would be planning a visit to Venice, or simply enjoy the wonderful region, be sure not to miss out this gem. The villa is not only a fantastic place to stay, the team that will be welcoming you is exceptional. Amongst the many places we have stayed this one touched our heart, besides the superb facilities. You will enjoy the exquisite breakfast, prepared every day with care and delicious variety of sweet or hearty dishes. The cappuccinos are wonderful. Your breakfast or drinks will be served in a nice garden when weather permits. Rooms are spacious and spotless, as is the bathroom. Your car will be safely parked on the free private parking space. The team can assist you with all information you might need about the region, Venice or the nearby beaches. In addition, just next door is a very good restaurant where you can enjoy your dish in the spacious garden. Quoting this place was extremely easy, the only problem is that 10 is the maximum value …

Everything about this place is amazing. It feels like a family business, but with a bunch of tight knit friends. All the staff where welcoming and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel like the most important person staying. the restaurant next door was one of the best experiences I have in Italy.

The air conditioning…. but everything else was so awesome, it didn’t matter

Hard to find words to describe this beautiful Villa and hospitality and kidness of its owners. Perfect location if you’re travelling by car. The rooms are spacious and preserving genius loci, adding to the charm. Breakfast, prosecco and offered snacks are cherry on top. Couldn’t be more satisfied and happy we stayed there. Definitely pay visit to the neighbouring restaurant.

Loved the villa style, the way Eva took care of us, the meals - everything was not only practical but also stylish. We stayed at the same villa some years ago but this time it was even more nicer.

Because of the mosquitoes it is risky to sleep with the window open.
