Baglioni Resort Sardinia - The Leading Hotels of the World

The location is stunning with a beautiful beach and fantastic views. The hotel is immaculate and feels luxury. We had a hire car and so getting around was easy with plenty of nearby towns/ports to visit. I am not sure how public transport would be but taxis are extortionate (seemingly across Sardinia - we paid 47 euros for a 10-15 minute taxi). Walking is possible but the nearest small town with a small supermarket is well over an hour walking. Would recommend a hire car. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. Staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to help. We ate at Gusto, the Michelin starred restaurant, on one evening and ate elsewhere the rest of the time. This was a superb restaurant and the food was exceptional. Expensive, as expected for a restaurant of this quality, but worth it if you want to splash out.

Very little to fault with the hotel or facilities. However the cost of drinks/extras is very high. This seems to be the case in many hotels in Sardinia from what we could see. We tended to be out and about during the day so didn't mind but if you planned to stay mainly within the resort, it could become very expensive.

Baglioni Sardinia is the epitome of 5-star service - from the moment we stepped off the transfer, we were treated with grace, friendliness and care. The staff's attention to detail and willingness to ensure that our stay was nothing short of spectacular is unmatched - we have stayed at many luxury resorts, and the closest we have come to this type of personal attention was at Diamonds Mequfi Beach Resort in Mozambique. There are many instances of care and kindness we can recall - including the celebration of my birthday, the care with our dietary requirements, the set-up of room service when we ordered a meal, the prompt response to requests, the suggestions of places to visit and having meals at, helping us to track down the full set of biscuit tins for our collection and helping us stay comfortable, especially when I was feeling ill. We have noted below the particular staff who we have interacted with most and who have made our trip memorable. Still, we recognise that service of this standard results from many excellent staff members who take pride in their work and are never seen by the guests. Our only complaint is that this hotel is a 24-hour journey from home.

Wonderful resort in a stunning location close to a beautiful beach. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The room was super comfortable and quiet. The food was excellent.

Great location. Most beautiful beach. Staff super helpful. Lovely breakfast and option of sitting outside with sea view. Rooms very comfortable. Traveled with children so needed to use the sofa bed which was very comfortable. There’s a shuttle service to take you down to the Marina for a small charge. Very spacious hotel.

The food served for lunch and diner at the Ruia is a bit underwhelming and inconsistent. A lot of focus is put on presentation, less on taste. A bit disappointing for an Italian resort. The Michelin-starred restaurant Gusto on the contrary is worth giving a try.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location, our room which was upgraded to a suite, delicious food and amazing staff. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Great location with a private beach, very spacious room and amazing facilities. The breakfast was really good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our suite had sea view, but was quite far from the sea to be able to enjoy the view properly. Overall was a good experience.

We didn't have shower gel when we arrived and needed a shower, and the cleaning lady told us they ran out(how is that possible). Had to wait till she went away to find a tiny shower gel for us. Some wear and tear in some bits in the bathroom and room, which i wouldn't expect to see in this kind of resort, and for the rates they charge.

the bridge from the hotel to the seaside was not constructed yet. a shuttle brought us to see and back. it works but took some planning. Indeed, direct and independent access via a bridge would be a big plus. Also, the friends i was traveling with were unfortunate with some of the managers of the estate who wanted to charge them almost 80 euros for 2 continental breakfasts in their room. they had to negotiate with customer relationship manager not to pay such a high price.

The hardest part is leaving…. Rooms Absolutely stunning. A true sense of classy luxury and it’s all in the details, from the quality of the linen, to the perfectly silent air conditioning all the way to the beautiful garden and terrasse. all suites are private villas in design, giving you a true sense of a privileged and intimate hideout. The true soul and usp of baglioni hotels. As with our stays in France and Italy, we find the same customer oriented service, always excelling to deliver a unique and superior experience. It starts from check in, we arrived early from the boat but we felt right at home. Seamless private checkin sitting in a beautiful lounge with complimentary fresh fruits & juices. The hotel offered us breakfast until the room was ready and off we were to the beach, with our own chauffeured golf cart - what a great way to start the holidays. All the excursions were personalised for us and all the restaurant recommendations were stunning and the hotel always manages to get the best table. You just truely feel special By far the best beach I saw in the Mediterranean area and only challenged by Bora Bora. The water is crystal blue, and shallow so the kids are safe all the way to safety bouée. Hot shower at disposal and spritz on the beach :) The team is also very friendly and great to organise all the activities. as mentioned you are chauffeured to the beach with a golf cart. The pool is stunning and a perfect way to end the day. Just pure calm and serenity with private cabanas and great pool service. Food was beautiful. From the pool menu to the Michelin star restaurant. It starts with breakfast where you can order fresh omelettes with melting mozzarella and ham, chocolate crepes and they have the most amazing selection of fresh pastries made on site, freshly backed cakes and pies and the most tasty fruits you’ve had in a long time. The Michelin restaurant is a class of its own, we dined their 3 times to try all the dishes.

The staff and service was so good. The beach and the sea was amazing. Really good breakfast and dinner. Rooms are beautiful and very clean
