Mercure Bergamo Aeroporto

The airport shuttle was organized effectively. The hotel offered a free welcoming drink at the rooftop terrace. The hotel restaurant had very friendly service, and even though the restaurant space is fairly impersonal as it doubles as the breakfast room, the food was very good and prices reasonable. The hotel and the room were modern and up to date. The staff was extremely helpful and we felt very welcome.

The information about the airport shuttle could be clearer. It was mentioned on the website that the shuttle has to be booked before arrival, but there was no mention how much earlier. An email had to be sent to ask for a form to be filled out and sent back. This could be difficult if you're already on your holiday and only on your phone. Perhaps there could be a simpler way. I tried to write to the hotel through Booking.com messages but they couldn't organise it that way, but I contacted the hotel via email and it worked out that way. So in the end everything worked out fine.

The room was clean and spacious, well equipped. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very nice breakfast.

The hotel shouldn't be defined as "aiport hotel" because it's very far away from Bergamo airport and in fact there is no convenient way of getting to the hotel from airport by public transport. First you need to catch a bus from airport to the Bergamo train station and then go to Stezzano by train. Then you need to walk for 15 minutes on the road with no sidewalk with all your bags, which is very dangerous, especially by night! There is although a possibility to book a car from the hotel to the airport, which is good.

Very conviniemt location, close to the airport. Rooms were spacious. Lara on reception is super professional and efficient. She really stands out.

You couldn't get the room warmer. The lighting is bad. 2 lamps were off so was even worse. Cleaning wasn't up to the standards of Mercure. Towel with foundation was found in the toilet. The shower gels were not refilled. Housekeeping need to step up for this hotel.

Your night staff were very helpful with our 2 AM arrival and secured some ice for us for a nightcap after a very long and trying day, We were also pleased with the advise we received from your desk staff regarding the best way to proceed to Milan.

Mercure Bergamo Aeropuertoi is a little misleading The hotel is a 20 min. cab ride from the airport. It's not your fault but it was difficult to engage a ride to your location from the queue at the airport.

It was easy to get the shuttle from the airport and cost 20 euros (up to 3 people). The rooms were very comfortable and the staff helpful when explaining how to get to the train station, which is a 15 minute walk along the road to the left of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with more than enough to choose from. There seemed to be nothing in the vicinity of the hotel so you need transport to get to shops, restaurants and bars. It was perfect for what we needed, which was a night's sleep when arriving on a late night flight.

Far from the airport paid 27 Euros for taxi as no public transport nearby, if you are driving will be good. You need to walk a good 20 mins to catch the train to Bergamo and not the best place to walk as the area seems to be an industrial place.

Very clean, modern and confortable.

Accor style, with few storage space. They claim to provide airport transfer, but in fact this is not provided. No answer to the messages sent via booking.com. Be aware at the airport, there are taxis without any sign which charge you more (30 Eur in our case, at midnight) and don't give you any receipt. The hotel is fine, but we paid for taxi - 55 Eur - almost the price for 1 night.

The very friendly receptionist, particularly Mr.Haytham. Help offer in any ways ! Possibilities of Late check in ! Cold water in anytime . Good Breakfast !

The location is great for people with cars or Bikes but for the public transportation it's a bit more difficult to reach! Of course Taxi is the option. Generally I liked everything !

We thought that the hotel was near the airport, we were without a car. We tried to find a hotel at night and it was not easy. We came from Bergamo to the train station to Stezzano and passed the road in the industrial area

We had a nice room, recently refurbished and nicely decorated, very clean and quiet (it was not on the highway side). The reception guy was very friendly. Breakfast was very good and not expensive.

Rooms are very small and quite basic. Far from the airport (around 8 km), so it’s good only if you have a car.
