Ernesto is a great host!! We were counting on getting there by taxi from the nearest train station, but it turns out that there usually are no taxis in the area, so he was nice enough to go get us when we arrived and then on taking us there the day we left! The place is just beautiful! It has a great garden, a great view and a very refreshing swimming pool! The room is very comfortable, and it has everything we needed for a great stay, including a small kitchen and two small tables that we used for work (it is a quiet and nice place to work). Ernesto also has a very cute dog called Hugo, which I loved!! I totally recommend this place!

We didn´t have a car, so we took some time getting from there to the places we wanted to visit.

Everything. We can not fault a thing. The last few days of our honeymoon have been perfectly spent with beautiful scenery all around. Villa Viuli offers exclusive use of the pool and loungers for guests only which we have enjoyed. We can even begin to express how amazing Ernesto has been. A truly perfect host who has gone above and beyond for us throughout our stay, with no request too much trouble. This includes allowing us to check in early with no charge and wait all day by the pool, past our checkout until our transfer (which Ernesto kindly arranged). We also enjoyed a daily breakfast at small cost. The villa is in a quieter area so is very peaceful but not too far from public transport, a supermarket, bar and restaurant area. If the walk is manageable by a 7 months pregnant woman, it’s manageable for all. We would absolutely return to Villa Viuli, we have loved every minute.

We cannot thank Ernesto enough for an outstanding stay and his help that went above and beyond. First-- the location is wonderful and the rooms were clean and well appointed. The pool and views were gorgeous. We loved having breakfast on the patio and our son fell in love with Ugo, the owner's sweet little dog. When we got a flat tire with our rental car, Ernesto drove us to Pompeii to catch our tour and went back and forth with the rental company to help us with alternatives. It was so key having someone be able to argue on our behalf in Italian! He spent tons of time helping us out even on his own birthday! Our trip would have been so much more stressful without him and his kindness.

Nothing! It is a charming place at a very reasonable price. Ernesto was the perfect host!

A very nice house with beautiful views to the coast and to Vesuvio as well. There is a nice green garden with pool. There is also a parking area in the garden. Our host, Ernesto was super-helpful, he recommended restaurants in the area and even helped us to find out the strange visiting rules of Pompei by calling them (useful info - even the Pompei website says that you cannot bring a normal backpack bigger then 30x30cm and they confirmed the same via phone, that is not true, there was no bag check at the entrance and people could go inside with regular backpacks)

Everything was great! The nearby streets are quite narrow so you have to be careful there both by car and when you plan to walk as the locals drive quite fast.

A fantastic stay; just sad it was for such a short time. Ernesto was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble - we really appreciated the restaurant recommendation (fantastic). The Villa had a lovely large pool (very welcome after a day at Pompeii). The room we stayed in was large and very spacious - perfect for us as a family of three. We had a super breakfast on the terrace; the best coffee I’ve had for a long time. All in all a very laid back, relaxing short stay with a wonderful host.

Nothing - everything exceeded our expectations.

I liked the House itself, It's not a resort type experience, rather the Host Ernesto, takes you into his home which is jammed with intriguing artifacts and literature which he and his family have collected from all over the world. There is a lovely pool just big enough for the residents, set in again a fascinating Garden at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. The views from the rooms are spectacular regardless of the weather.

I really should have hired a car because it's quite remote, but still only a fifteen-minute walk to the nearest train which takes you to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, and all the sights. Also, Ernesto drove us to the station on two rainy days which was special.

The host, Ernesto, is superb. He is friendly, helpful and kind, clearly putting his heart into hosting. The house is beautiful and clean. The pool is so lovely (and huge!). My kids loved it after hiking Vesuvius in the heat. We had two rooms for our family of 4, and they were spacious and spotless, both with balconies with lovely views. There is even a friendly little dog, Hugo, who is adorable. Our whole experience at Villa Viuli was wonderful, highly recommended.

Nothing negative to say.

Very comfortable accommodation, clean and spacious room, big green yard with a swimming pool, great view from balcony to both sea and Capri island and Vesuvius on the other side. Very quite - we slept like a babies. Its 15 minutes walk to the train station to get to Napoli (30 minutes) or Sorrento (40 minutes). It was a perfectly positioned to visit all the important sites by train. Owner Ernesto, was very kind and friendly, there for everything we needed. Thanks Ernesto for a perfect stay!

A beautiful rustic villa with an amazing pool and air conditioning. Situated overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Capri, with Vesuvius behind. we were able to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum nearby, and the trips to Paestum, Sorrento, Possitano and Amalfi were so easy via train. We even travelled to Rome which was equally a simple train ride from the local station. Ernesto was simply an amazing host. Superb communication before and during stay, and full of information and support to help us ensure we saw the best places.

Nothing was wrong and the value for money was amazing!

Great property with a huge swimming pool set in a large tranquil oasis. A wonderful sized family room featuring a lovely balcony to kick back on, relax and look across the bay of Naples toward Sorrento and Capri. Ernesto could not do enough to please us and it felt more like staying with friends than being on holiday. Fantastic location for visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius and an easy 20 minutes drive from Naples airport. Excellent communication with host.
