The staff were super warm and understanding. They went above and beyond to look after us. When we first got here, we noticed twin beds were pushed together instead of getting a double bed. We requested a change and first thing in the morning they let us move rooms. The rooms were spacious and had the right amount of storage. The air conditioner also doubles as a heater which was perfect as the tile flooring can cause the room to get quite cold otherwise. The water pressure of the shower was really good, although it took a long time for the shower to warm up. The bathroom has a bidet which was a nice addition also. Minimalistic room. The bed was a little on the harder side - which I love as it prevents any back problems. The breakfast was nice every morning too, they would provide you a croissant with breakfast which was really tasty. Free parking was also a bonus as it was part of the property which was safe! The room also looks exactly like the photos so no surprises!

The bathroom floor didn’t have a drain so after a shower my bathroom floor would remain flooded/wet unless they would mop it the next morning. I also was under the impression that the room would come with a safe, but it did not. The room also gets extremely cold so make sure you bring slippers and adjust the air conditioning/heating accordingly.

Host maintained good communication before arrival and extremely accommodating at check-in, providing a local map of all the points of interest within walking distance such as the adjacent Pompeii ruins with several gates to enter. Host also recommended a themed restaurant of eating what ancient Pompeians ate, and you can wear replicas of ancient garments such as a senator while visiting the restaurant called CAUPONA POMPEI RESTAURANT. You can choose modern food as well as ancient style food both options were delicious and is a short walking distance and well worth the experience. The room was comfortable, had great air-conditioning, and had lots of hot water for showers. Breakfasts were always delicious, as were the hot and cold beverages. Truly a wonderful host.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for one night and truly enjoyed it. The room was very nice, functional and clean as per the pictures/description and the AC was working very well, which proved to be critical as outside temperatures varied between 30C and 35C. Roberto was a very good host who responded swiftly to our demands and helped us a lot with what to do and where to eat in Pompei. The B&B is beside a commercial area that is very quiet and about 500m from the Pompei Historical Site. It also includes a safe parking spot in a gated area. The breakfast was very good and met all of our expectations. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Our stay at Villa Rocla was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was very very complete: you have salty and sweet variety , with also coffee and fruit . It was very comfortable using the parking of the place during our stay; and the location was great as we were only 8 minutes by walk from Pompeii Ruins and close to the highway (autostrada), meaning than you can go fast to Napoli, Amalfi coast and other near locations. Claudia, the owner, and person in charge, was a charm, kind and nice person with always an smile to share. She always gave us an exceptional treatment and advices !! Thanks for everything!! We hope to be back!

Stayed here before our Pompeii/Vesuvio days and so glad we did! The kind staff at the hotel made our stay much better. They waited up till our late arrival (our train got cancelled), they gave us tons of very kind information about entrance tickets and timetables. The breakfast contained croissants that I think were home-made and freshly baked, delicious! We will go here again if we return to Pompeii. With Google Maps, the 15-20 min walk from the Pompeii ruins train station is very easy to navigate. We felt very welcome and taken care of.

Roberto could not have worked harder to look after his guests. This sweet little hotel is unpreposessing from the street but has a pretty garden at the rear, ample shaded parking and smart modern rooms. It's a good value choice if you are visiting Pompeii and the friendly and welcoming host is a great asset. The hotel is just around the corner from the main entrances to the ruins, so you avoid the massive crowds. Once you're in the site, btw, its so huge it didn't feel crowded even through there were plenty of coach parties.

The ruins of Pompeii, a World Heritage site, are now engulfed in the shabby suburbs of Naples so outside this hotel it's all potholed roads without pavements and quite a lot of traffic.

Although it’s a bit out of town we quite like that once we’d got our bearings. Perfect location for ruins and bus to Vesuvius. Breakfast was perfect and staff more than happy for us to refill our water bottles. Lovely cappuccinos for breakfast too. Rooms were spacious and even little balcony but free acceS to garden was appreciated as we sat out and had dinner there a couple of nights ( takeaway pizzas and salad from local pizza place)

I would have loved a kettle we’ve been away for 3 weeks and dying for an afternoon cup of tea.

The location/proximity to the Pompeii ruins is excellent, and the property is a quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling town. Staff were very helpful and there was lots of parking. We really appreciated the early check-in, because it allowed us to arrive in the morning and have the whole day for visiting the archeological site. There were reasobaly-priced and good restaurants nearby. The next day, the drive to the Naples airport was short and painless.

The outdoor space was okay, but a little worn...maybe some nicer tables and chairs outside the rooms would help.

We went to Pompei just for a night because we wanted to explore the ruins. Didn't have any expectations about "Villa Rocla" and the city. It was such a pleasant surprise to find this amazing place with one of the nicest host. We want to thank him again for the recommendations he gave us about places to eat, transfer to the train station and the organisation about visiting the ruins. Breakfast was amazing. If you ever go to Pompei, stay there and trust all the recommendations you get from the host.

Everything was PERFECT!

Villa Rocla is the perfect place to stay when planning to visit the Pompei ruins. it’s only 15min walking from there. the rooms are big, clean and they have a big parking place. The siblings that run the place are lovely! Always ready to help and with a smile on the face. They are very attentive and make a great capuccino :) the breakfast is really good and perfect for start a new journey!

The only negative point is the internet. I talked to one of the owners and she told be that it was not their fault, but a telephone company problem, since they were change the system. But I felt obligated to inform this to other guests, because if you are a “digita nomad” as me, it’s better to confirm I’m advance how is the internet working. I could not work well the 2 nights I stayed there because of it.
