Azzoli Trapani - Apartments&Skypool - Adults Only

Stylish, character, luxury apartments with great hospitality and service. I loved it. Some reviewers’ remarks might reflect a lack of awareness of southern European business hours (e.g. shops and the receptions of boutique hotels like this close in the midday heat and reopen mid-afternoon, staying open until evening, etc.) Reception staff came out to specially for us (we arrived at 14:00) and stayed in touch by WhatsApp, also using English (well). We were helped with all our questions about travel, facilities, etc. in a very friendly and natural way. The room was kept really clean. Breakfast on the roof was lovely. It’s a slightly southern European accented breakfast (more sweet pastries, less eggs) but when my husband asked for milk to have with cereal in the morning instead of yoghurt he was always welcome to some milk. (I think you can’t leave milk out at breakfast when it’s already 29oC at 8-9 am.). I would love to go again.

There’s one window that doesn’t open to the outside in the usual way, but how often do you stay in a converted church with an atrium / 4-5 floors of glass hallways and a pool with a sea view on the roof? Worth it.

The sofa bed sadly is not comfortable at all

Amazing views from the top - there is a rooftop pool and great place to just relax. Location was ideal only steps away from the beach with crystal-clear water. The staff communication was outstanding & far above & beyond what I am used to. I would recommend this place to anyone just because of that. Immediate replies to calls on WhatsApp, which is amazing for those traveling with no local cell. Also, the girl at the front desk took her time to find me a taxi to show me around the acropolis on a last minute spur of moment idea. The stay was fantastic.

The location is great, just in the centre, but very calm and quiet! Service is very good. The ladies in the reception are very nice and helpfull and we had an additional contact with them on WhatsApp, what was very easy to comunicate. The rooms are nice. The hotel is very original and beautiful from architechture point of view. The floors are made from glass. We loved the swimming pool with chillout space and a little bar on the roof with so fantastic view to Trapani - historic centre. The hotel is built in the old church, which was closed.

The windows can only be opened intern to the hotel space made from glass, there is no fresh air from outside, so we were always in air condition space. In some rooms they are the small windows outside. On the other hand everything is made from glass, also the roof. So we had a natural light in the rooms coming from the hotel space. The shower was not so practice, because the water came out outside.

The property was in an old church building which meant it was lovely and cool inside even when very hot in the day. It was very modern and well designed and had lots of great original features in tact. The pool was great, small but perfect for a quick dip and it was open 24hrs which is unusual, we really appreciated that. Honestly the best part about this accomodation was Delia who greeted us at reception when we arrived and could not have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating throughout our stay. She was fantastic and made our experience there exceptional.

A very beautiful stylish and modern facility that exceeded my expectations. Very calm, and the staff is professional and welcoming, the lobbies are nice places to stay. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning is soundless, which is perfect! The location is top, close to anything.

The shower is just horrible. It's a tropical shower, and it's very weak, don't hope to wash your hair and body carefully. Also the water just goes all over the place as there's no door in the cabin. Plus during my 5-night stay they didn't renew my Shower Gel, basically it can last only for 1-2 times. I don't think people should complain about the breakfast being only pastry, because it's this way in Italy. But taking into account it's a tourist place, I'd consider adding at least ham&cheese. BTW, a hotel definitely not for those who are afraid of height as all the floors are glass! And the passages from one side of the hotel to another may be scary :)

Great location, lovely facilities, lovely staff also with good English; very clean

Breakfast was a little underwhelming; could be some fresher food, like bread and fruit - breakfast felt cheap. The building is quite noisy and while the location is fantastic, the internal acoustics are quite intense, we could hear noise from bedrooms above at night. The rooms are quite dark, so not great for spending much time in. On rainy or cold days, it would not be a cosy place to stay but we went in Summer with fabulous weather so the rooftop area was grewat and we hardly spent time in the bedroom.

This is a building and its rooms renovated with amazing modern architectural design and stylish furnishing. The location is amazing, close to all the action but in a quiet street. It had excellent air conditioning in the room. It was exceptionally clean, so kudos to the cleaning team as they do a brilliant job. The reception/other staff were friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. Sadly the lack of room soundproofing was the only issue.

The omly let down is the rooms are not sound proofed. So you hear footsteps up and down the stairs, every door being closed and people's conversations. I had the room on highest level 4, it was directly under the roif top bar/dining area. Prior to 7am for breakfast etc set up the noise was directly and loudly heard through the thin ceiling....foot steps, chair movements etc. Also when some guests used the roof top after-hours at 1am and on my first night 2.30am - 4am that woke me up as sounds like it is in the room. It's such a shame about the rooms/windows not being sound proofed, if the noise was less it would be exceptional all around.

The staff was amazing. They were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. One of the best hotel staffs we have ever come across. The building design is really cool. The lobby of each floor was made of glass and so the natural light in the room came through the window to the lobby. No exterior windows meant the room was quiet even when the city around was still up with nightlife. Because it is not a large hotel, there were several times when we enjoyed the roof top pool all to ourselves.

The staff was exceptionally kind and thoughful, they really help my stay and were full of good advices on what to do in and around Trapani. The room was also very nice and clean, the place in general is stunning, the roof top a nice place to chill and take the sun.

The music playing all day in the communal area, it is soft piano that can be heard inside the rooms, apparently I was the first to complain about it, however they were kind enough to stop it during my stay. From my point of view, in a hotel of this kind, it should be quiet in the room, day and night.
