DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto

The hotel is new and has a stylish design and quality materials. We choose it because it is located in the former Fiat facrtory and we wanted to see the track on the roof - the hotel provides the vouchers for the free visit. The room was spacious and comfortable. Nice breakfast. At the arrival we received warm chocolate cookies at the reception - unusual and nice touch!

Upon arrival the sofa bed wasn't done and towels for the 3rd person were not provided. Welcome cookies contained nuts - was a disappointment for our child with nuts allergy. The cleaning staff were approaching our room 3 times in the morning before the check out, may be would be easier for them either to start cleaning after official check out time or get some info from reception about which rooms have been vacated. We've been to the hotel restaurant for the dinner and there was just 1 waiter. Only 1 person at the reception as well. I feel like if the would be more people the waiting time will decrease and the client's satisfaction will increase!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge and the bed is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and at €15 per person, quite reasonable. We stayed here for the nostalgia of the old Fiat factory and the rooftop test track, which you have free access to as a guest.

My only criticism is the coffee in the room. it wouldn’t cost the hotel much to have filter or pod coffee machines in the rooms. I’ve stayed at less prestigious hotels where they do this.

Good room size and bed. The hotel design is very trendy and makes it look very attractive. Lots of sunlight! The elevators are very efficient.

The bathroom design is not very convenient, especially the shower. The thin glass wall and glass sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom does not provide any privacy. Makes it somewhat uncomfortable. Another disappointment was the cleanliness, it left to be desired!

Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly, the stay overall was a pleasure. I appreciate the voucher for the museum ticket discount.

Nothing to complain about, just an opportunity for improvement - When I got into the room all the lights were on and it took me a while to switch them all off for the night. So many switches in the room is a bit confusing, the room could use a "master switch"

The hotel was clean modern comfortable and nice. Very easy to get taxis in a few minutes. Everyone on reception very friendly. Room was quiet and comfy.

Check out was a long time and difficult - insisting on numerous stages of payment, printing out massive receipts, I nearly missed my transport. Took a long time to get a drink at the bar, queueing up before being told you have to pay at till then go back to the bar - quite poorly organised.

Nice, newer hotel. Spacious rooms with high ceilings, comfortable beds, and working AC!

The location of the hotel was so-so, but it was only for a quick overnight stay so it wasn't that much of an issue. Fitness room was not really a "room" but in the open, right across from the elevator. No AC since it wasn't enclosed...bare minimum facility.

Everything is highly well-maintained by its staffs, who are superbly attentive and professionally polite to their guests. The room was very much standard to the other HILTON branches around the world, and the overall cleanliness is beyond the average 4-star rated hotels that are based in Italy. Although it was only a night of staying at this hotel, as a frequent business traveler around Europe, Asia, and the US, I can definitely say this specific hotel is "far beyond the average" in overall aspects.

The only downside was the "geolocation" saved on Booking.com app, which showed the entrance to the parking that is now blocked and needs to be updated, if the facility management of this hotel has changed any. Also, the "signage" to show its own "Parking / Garage" needs to be placed around the "roundabout" that is right in front of the hotel but does not indicate "which exit" is to the parking entrance for the guests coming by their own car.

The location is convenient for visiting the Salone del Libro, which was the reason for our stay. Our room was comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast (though not included in the room rate)

The bathroom needs a refresh, especially the shower (grout is not clean). Restaurant has very limited options at lunch.

This is a very special hotel in an old Fiat factory, refurbished by arh Renzo Piano. Hotel is managed in a very professional way and this you can feel from the welcome, to rooms ( bed is very confortable and bathroom with very nice shower ) , breakfast and leaving as well. All service on a very good standard that makes you feel very confortable. Great professional team that is doing a great job. Congratulation to all and to the General Manager as well.

The staff is really kind. The breakfast is good, accommodation are great, we really enjoyed it. It is in front of a big Eataly and a shopping mall. There are metro stations quite close to the hotel and the area is full of cafe's. If you arrive by train at Porta Nuova, you can reach the hotel by metro or even take a walk of more or lesse 30min from the station to the hotel.

The location maybe is not too central but it wasn't an issue for us.
