Courtyard by Marriott Venice Airport

Equivalent to any Courtyard stateside. Rooms were clean and comfortable with adequate space for two. I like the floors in a vinyl wood finish. Staff and service were excellent with recommendations for meals, transportation requirements, etc. We stayed on a Sunday evening so unfortunately can not rate the restaurant or bar. Relatively few restaurants in the area were open since it was Sunday. Al Durante was open and good food. Five minutes away from Marco Polo airport with shuttle every hour. Schedule early to make sure you get space. I would stay there again.

Very close to the airport, nice size clean rooms and the restaurant has a varied reasonably priced menu. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Perfect for an early morning flight out of Venice.

Hotel Airport transfers run by an outside company cease at 1pm. Coming in from Venice with lots of luggage by water taxi in the late afternoon was a mission as the taxi driver we approached did not want to take us to the hotel - I think he wanted a longer fare. He said it was a 5 minute walk. Perhaps without luggage and if you know where you are going it’s 10 minutes.

Excellent location for VCE and early morning flight. Hotel offers shuttle service to terminal for a small fee - takes less than 5 minutes to departures terminal via shuttle bus. You could walk to terminal if needed. Easy 20-25min bus ride from hotel to historic area of Venice (bus stop is directly across the street from hotel). Rooms were very clean and staff extremely helpful. Two restaurants within a 5 minute walk from hotel for dinner.

Restaurant was closed on Sundays.

I booked because of an early flight. the first shuttle runs at 5 am which was too late for me. I had to pre-order (walking is not a real option as there are no real sidewalks o. the street - this should really be fixed! but not the hotel‘s fault). Private shuttle costs 30€ which would be outrageously expensive for a 3 minutes drive but you can share it, I was lucky that 2 other guests joined which reduced the price to 10€. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, the room was ok/good standard and for only 3€ you can take the public bus (station directly in front of hotel) to Venice centre and back, that was really comfortable.

This hotel is just a few minutes from Marco Polo Airport. Can be reached by taxi Euros 20 or Public Bus No.5 for Euros 8. Rooms are large and well furnished. Beds very comfortable. Large bathroom with large walk-in shower. All toiletries provided and soft towels and face flannels. Breakfast extremely good. Hot and cold food, fruit, juices, teas, coffees. Rolls and pizza. Various milks. Eat as much as you like. Large breakfast room and separate restaurant attached for evening meals. Several restaurants within walking distance and reasonably priced especially Al Quadrante just down the road. Hotel situated in a quiet village setting. Bus stops to and from Venice centre (Piazalle Roma) where the Vaporetto can be boarded to Venice centre Euros 3 return and to and from airport right outside. Excellent all round.

Nothing

The staff (both reception and restaurant) was friendly, approachable, extremely helpful and accommodating. The beds are very very very comfortable. And the restaurant Da Mario was really delicious. Moreover, the location is great: it is extremely close to the airport and just a 15-20 minute bus ride to Venice city.

While the bathroom was impeccably clean, the room was a little dusty in some areas. Not dirty but a little dusty. Also the soundproofing wasn't as great as advertised and if other guests are loud in the hallways, you will hear them. That said, I was not disturbed during the night wearing ear plugs.

We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport since we had a 6am flight the next morning. We weren't sure about getting in and out of Venice from so far away, but the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating to help us work it out. They taught us how to take the 5 bus straight to the city center and back (about a 20 minute ride that passes by quickly). It literally goes from the main city in Venice to the airport and back every 15 minutes until midnight. SO easy. They even bought us our bus passes, told us exactly where to get on/off, and pinned some really great restaurants and things to see in the city for us on a map. The staff was amazing. When we had to get to the airport the next morning it was a quick, 10 minute walk and so convenient. If you don't want to walk the one block of road that doesn't have a sidewalk the bus is always an easy option, or the hotel has a shuttle that starts fairly early for an extra fee, I believe. They helped us print out the documents we needed for the airport, and had a nice restaurant, vending machine, and other convenient options if we were to get stuck in a rush for time. Definitely would stay here again.

Breakfast was a sit-down type situation rather than self-serve. A little inconvenient when you're trying to get out the door quickly; however, the service was very quick.

Reserved a room at this hotel at the last minute when our cruise line canceled a stop in Venice but offered us a "drop-off" at the Venice Airport. This turned out to be a great choice on our part; the bus into Venice was across the street / down the street for easy travel to the city. We ate dinner in the restaurant two nights in a row; both meals were excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very convenient when flying into or out of VCE. Nice on site restaurant. Staff was very accommodating.

Non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in. We were moved when we brought this to the front desk's attention.

This hotel was exactly what I expected for a Marriott near an airport. The staff was friendly, the restaurant had a good menu and the airport is only 10 minutes away. It is kind of walking distance from the airport. You have a small stretch along a road that doesn't have a sidewalk. I would stay here again if I had another early flight from Venice. We took a water taxi from our hotel to the Venice airport and then walked to this hotel. We took a cab that the hotel scheduled for us at 4:30 am the next morning.
