Hotel Delle Rose

We loved our stay. The staff were friendly, the ensuite rooms were very clean and the breakfast was plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. The restaurant a few doors down is run by the same family and we dined there 3 out of the 4 nights. If coming from Marco Polo airport, make sure you purchase the ACTV local bus tickets (bus num 15) which drops you off a 1 min walk from the hotel. We purchased the ACVO tickets which were non stop to Mestre then had to get a taxi to the hotel. Trams into Venice are only €1.50 and take about 13 mins.

Nothing apart from a kettle in the room would have been a bonus but for the price we paid, we were truly happy with the hotel.

The hotel is located very well. A five-minute walk is a tobacco shop where you can buy a ticket for a tram that will take you directly to Venice. There you can also buy a general ticket to use public boats. The owner of the hotel is very friendly. There is a tavern 50 m from the hotel, where you can eat delicious food and prices are good. We stayed in room 74 and got a large balcony with a great view of the city in the mountains. The room is not big, but it’s good for two. The shower room is in very good condition and may have been recently refurbished. By the way, if you come by car, then the car can be left at the hotel.

f you get by train, then be ready to walk for 25-30 minutes.

We loved it. Great location, very close to the tram station that goes to Venice, which is about 10 minutes away. Very tasty breakfast, everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they provide the information you need. We also parked our car at the hotel, they have enough parking spaces. The room was clean, had everything you need. It had air conditioning, a refrigerator, and the bathroom was very clean. The room also had a television, with Netflix and YouTube. No complaints, we will definitely be back.

Very good location, very friendly helpful staff in person, very easy to get into Venice and back. Very nice neighbourhood for walks.

Communication before arriving was a bit difficult, presumably due to the language barrier. To get to the hotel with the bus from the airport you need to take Bus 15 of the ACTV company and get off at the 'Millosevich' stop. This is a requested stop (i.e. the bus doesn't stop there every time) so I'd advise telling the bus driver beforehand otherwise you're going to end up at Mestre station and have to find your way back.

Excellent accommodation and service. All staff were kind and helpful with no complaints. Breakfast was good. The room was excellent and the location was ideal for good accessibility to local transport by bus [Bus numbers 15 and 43] and tram [S1] to Mestre Centre, the Central Station, and Venice. Restaurants and local shops, supermarkets are within walking distance. My wife and I would highly recommend Hotel Della Rose to anyone visiting Venice.

Nothing to complain about as the accommodation, staff members and service at Hotel delle Rose was excellent and very pleasurable.

The gentleman from the reception was great, he gave us really good information where we can eat for lunch/dinner (their own trattoria)...and the recommendation was super-the vest homemade Tiramisu I ever ate, from where to take the tram to Venice, where is located the tramstation...everything we needed. He was a pleasant surprise . The breakfast was diverse, exactly like in the picture. We travel with 2 kids and always looking for beds that are NOT bunk beds, so the sleeping in the appartment was also very nice, having 2 queen beds and 2 bathrooms with showers.

The view from the room was not the best, but actually we were to.tired after Venice to stay at the terrace. The hotel is 2 stars, probably in need of renovation, but really clean..the staff is doing their jobs.

The location to get to Venice is brilliant, just a 5 stops on the tram Line 1. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. Room has exactly what you need and bathroom was great too (spacious and modern). Room had a fridge, which is also a great asset.

There were 3 different networks, but none of them was strong enough in our room and kept connecting and disconnecting. However this might have been just with our room. The only other thing we did not like is that the parking spaces are just outside the window, so you can still open your windows, but there is a car parked right outside, which made us keep the window shut most of the time.

Very clean and comfy place... There was a large and clean bathroom. Absolutely value for money! Even though the property is not centrally located the connections to the center are great. Our host Alex is the most amazing host ever. He arranged for early check-in and all the information that we needed for our stay in Venice with all his kindness and hospitality. Few doors down the road the property has a restaurant, Taverna Fontana, a must-visit…

For some reason, I could not get in touch with the property as I have left some personal items in the room and they have not contacted me also ☹

We chosen Hotel Delle Rose second time for three reasons. First, there is a secured parking for €6 per night. Second, convenient location to get Venice by tram T-2, walking distance 5 min and 15 minutes ride. Third, we tried other hotel close to train and found that far less comfortable. There is an elevator in hotel. Rooms are some smaller but clean and equipped with air conditioner.There is an elevator. Hotel located in relatively good area, where you can take a walk or get a dinner in a restaurant.

Nice location, staffs are very helpful. They really helpful to visit the Venzia mainland and also they provide you enough information. Also they have a nice restaurant nearby, approx 100m. Their food is really nice and available with reasonable price. The staffs of the restaurant are also very nice and care about your foods.
