Antony Hotel - Venice Airport

Right off bus line from the train station. Nice room. Bigger than expected.

A little far from attractions. No heat. You can’t control the temperature in your room. We were very cold during the night and early morning. I had to sleep with blanket over my face and cocoon in a blanket. When asked the front desk they said there wasn’t a way to heat it. You could hear everything I’m the hallway even though we were on the end.

we paid for breakfast. and we didn’t have it. they started after the time we have to leave, will like a refund of the service we didn’t have.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect. It is reachable by bus No. 5 from the airport (4 km distance). The bus drive every 15 minutes. This is helpful if the hotel shuttle is not available (after 22:00).

There was only a small problem with payment with credit card on distance, but we all together sucessfully managed this problem.

The receptionist was extremely helpful! She made sure that we got to the right place for our transfer to our cruise on time. She also helped with information on the bus service into Venice/Venezia.

The room was very basic. It was clean, but did not have the "look" we had expected as it looked more like a cheaper room.

site says they provide a €5 euro airport shuttle and it cost us €30 for a 5 minute drive. also the room could have been cleaner.

In a hotel in Italy, I didn't expect a good breakfast, but man was I wrong! I wish I could get more of those scrambled eggs and pancakes right now! All the restaurant and reception staff I had to deal with were extremely nice and helpful. You don't have to wonder how to buy ticktes to the bus; they'll sell it to you. And for some reason, they were half the price of paying on the bus. It's quite close to the airport, with a decent restaurant, and very well-maintained interiors, and it's really not all that expensive. They had live views of Venice and arrival/departure info from the airport, which were not of interest to us but I imagine it's great service for some travellers.

There is no other building nearby, so I would have loved to sleep with the curtains open and wake up to the sunrise, but I had one of the orange-lit window frames, so I had to close the curtain. (It blocked the light perfectly at least.) The sliding bathroom door had quite a gap, so if you share a room with a colleauge or someone not so close, you might feel uncomfortable :-) The neighborhood does not have anything to offer, but it's not a negative as long as you have the right expectations.

No complaints room was comfortable, breakfast was good and had airport transfer available for small charge. There is nothing to do near location but a regular bus service had you in the centre of Venice in 15 minutes.

Bar area lacking in atmosphere but was not an issue.

The location with free private parking and free wi fi. The hotel is minute or two walkaway to the bus station where with bus number 5 you are going to venice piazzale roma for about 10 minutes. In the hotel you have discounted tickets for bus to venice and we paid 1.5 eur per person. For the way back you mus buy tickets on piazzale roma for 10 eur per person. Taxi from the hotel to marco polo airpot was 30 eur for three persons where you can catch boat to venice for 10 eur per person one way. The breakfast was perfect. Also they have gluten free food for breakfast. The staff is very good and helpful. The room was very clean. There was a good terrace on the roof.

This was our best breakfast at a hotel in Italy. The food was plentiful and delicious and the staff were wonderful. The cappuccino was the best. The room was very spacious for 3 people and very comfortable. The front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful and the location was very good to get the bus and go into Venice. We will definitely stay here again.

The only issue was the telephone was not working and the TV had been removed to be fixed and was never replaced. However the front desk gave us free breakfast as the two things had not been corrected. So they did their best and the rest was out,of their control.

Location.....On the main road between Venice and the airport. Very convenient. Away from the crowds of Venice. Just a City Bus ride to Venice in 20 minutes. Hotel very comfortable and clean. Very helpful staff.

Breakfast was the same everyday. A little variety would of been nice. But overall good breakfast. Bar doesn't open until 5:00pm (or 17:00pm) Nothing to do around the lobby. No music, no Television. European style elevators, very small. Two person ride with luggage, maybe three without luggage, but there is two elevators. So I didn't have a problem or wait long for the them.
