Hotel Dei Dragomanni

I loved the hotel! Placed in the great neighbourhood, close to the Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. The room was very clean, warm and intimate, bed was one of the comfiest I've ever had in any hotel. The service was professional and polite. I definitely recommend the hotel and I'd stay here again when travelling to Venice, especially considering the price/value ratio.

Refilling the water everyday and maybe placing the hotel info in the room would be helpful (check-out times, breakfast hours etc).

Room had big full length windows overlooking the Grand Canal with doors out to a balcony which was very nice. On the one sunny day we had we sat out and enjoyed watching the different canal users passing by. very relaxing. Lovely Bathroom with excellent shower. Room was serviced daily and was very clean. Super breakfast with both hot and cold options. Warm and friendly staff always willing to help.

Unfortunately the mini bar fridge was not working so the drinks we kept in there were not chilled. This was not fixed whilst we were there. I found bed just fine, but my wife found it a bit hard. Minor point but would have preferred proper cups for the in room tea/coffee.

The location is spot on and we had a room with a Grand Canal view and small balcony which was wonderful! Bed extremely comfortable and the room was a decent size and very clean. Great shower and bathroom with lovely soft robes and slippers provided. The staff are lovely here. This is our 3rd stay at this hotel and it has been completely refurbished since we were last there, so the facilities are all new and modern. The area is really quiet yet a few yards from the Grand Canal and close to Accademia and San Marco.

The room was very warm and despite there being a digital control/thermostat on the wall we were unable to change the temperature to a more comfortable one. We asked at reception and were told to just open the windows as the heating wasn't controllable. We thought this a bit odd. We did open windows at night which unfortunately let in mosquitoes. The new refurbishment has given the hotel a clean and modern look but it has also sadly lost some of its previous charm.

Very well located, although it was no easy to find it at first! They should have a sign in front of the hotel, otherwise it looks like a normal residential building. The bedroom was extremely nice and well decorated, good internet, good tv with Netflix, excellent bathroom (and the best hairdryer I have ever used in an hotel). There was never someone in the lobby, but the day I had a problem with my hotel key, within minutes after I message the hotel they solved it. Very good experience.

I confess I was distressed when my hotel key stopped working and there was no one in the lobby to help (it was late in a Friday night). Although it has a quick turnaround, the phone provided did not work and I had to send and email and a message through booking. Maybe you should make sure to guests what to do and who to reach in situations such as these!

Pricy

We loved our stay here. It was such a comfortable bed/pillows. The facilities were all clean and nicely kept. The location was wonderful. A little more tucked away in Venice which is what we were looking for. We loved the quiet street it was on, yet still located a short walk from the San Marco Piazza. In addition to the room being well air-conditioned there was a fan which made all the difference as we were visiting in the heat of the summer. Breakfast was fabulous

Nothing! It was such a great place from top to bottom. We would 10/10 recommend this place!

The location is great, only a short walk from San Marco’s square and close to bars and cafes. It’s also situated on a cul-de-sac so it’s nice and quiet at night. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern and the shower was great. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We could check our bags in a couple of hours before check in as we had an early morning flight into Venice. The breakfast was basic but very tasty and the staff would offer coffee, bacon and scrambled eggs free of charge if you wanted! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, not the softest mattress and there is a lack of sound proofing - we could hear some works being carried out in the hotel some mornings and could hear the people in the room next to us from time to time. Our adapters which we have used many times in many European countries only fit in the bathroom plug socket so we had to share this charger for our 4 night stay, but this wasn’t anything major. Overall a great stay, we would happily return and recommend to friends and family.

The front desk reception staff were very professional and knwleageable about the location and events going on. They organised a river taxi for us on our last day even though ther were tremendous difficulties due to the Carnevale Procession. The breakfast staff were very organised and friendly - a great start to the day! Our room had not only a view of the Grand Canal but a balcony to see it. That was not mentioned in the details and could be expanded upon. Room 26 is amazing!

We would have liked the bar to have been open all day but it's OK that it is only open 6-11pm

The staff were incredibly accomodating and helpful in finding our way around the city, especially for the check out process and reaching the airport. the rooms are spacious and nice, the breakfast was reasonable as well. It was nice to be near many of the busier spots in Venice without actually staying in them too.

Underneath the bed was pretty dirty, which I only looked under to make sure we didn't forget anything. The rooms were also really warm so we had to open windows but then mosquitoes kept getting in and we were bit a few times.

The staff at the property were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and were tidied regularly by the staff. We were only a 10 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge so liked that the main hub wasn’t too far away.

The TV was older which meant we couldn’t link our Netflix to watch at night. Other than the Rialto Bridge everything else is a walk to get to since it’s near the canal (one way in one way out by foot).
