Everything was amazing! We specifically looked for a warm place because it can get cold in Cristobal. Heater in the room, extra blankets, and HOT (not warm!) water in the shower. By far the best shower we had in Mexico! On top of this, we got 45 mins free sauna and whirlpool! Room was really cleanb and modern. Staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We also booked a tour visa the hotel for a good price. We also received a WhatsApp message a couple of days before our arrival with information, which I really appreciated!

We normally always have something to complain :-) But this time, we cannot think of anything. Everything was just perfect!

Modern and comfortable room. Room cleaning and two bottles of water provided daily. Reception helped with airport taxi. The street felt safe and is a few blocks away from main walking street. No problem walking after dark. Sauna and jacuzzi included for 45 minutes were relaxing and spotless. Pleasant surprise was that our room was ready when we arrived before 10 am.

Breakfast not included, but there was an abundance of nice cafes in centre walking distance. No complaints.

This stay was fantastic. Upon arrival, the receptionist knew my name and I had help taking my bags to my room. I also was given one free hour at the spa with a sauna and jacuzzi (which I desperately needed). Reception also helped with securing a taxi for me. The room was very clean and smelled delicious. I also appreciated the bath robes and coffee machine.

If I MUST pick something, the two small carpets in the room need a vacuum.

We only stayed here for one night but we really enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the center but in a quiet street, close to everything you need. The room was very spacious, huge bed and good shower. It was also really nice that we could use the sauna and jacuzzi for 45 minutes (included in the price). We enjoyed this a lot, it was very relaxing. Staff was kind and helpful, overall we had a great experience.

Everything is amazing. The room, the bed, the hot shower, the bathrobes just all great. The staff is very helpful. Once our upper neighbors were blasting really loud music. The reception immediately called to their room to lower the music. The 45 min of relaxation in the spa (included in the stay) is super nice. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Forgot my necklace on the counter of the bathroom. Asked them about it. Said they didn't find it. (but it was a cheap souvenir necklace so I wasn't to bummed out about it)

We loved the children's playroom, which provided our preschoolers some much needed space to unwind, and we loved the sauna and jacuzzi as well. Staff was super friendly and even before our stay reached out to help us organize tours and transportation. Beds were really comfortable.

- Doors are very very noisy, you can hear everytime a guest closes his door. - Staff should ask guests to keep their voice down at night. - No door in the shower, the floor of the bathroom literally floods when you shower. - Coffee served on breakfast can improve, c'mon, Chiapas has better coffee to offer

The hotel staff was very kind and gave the best service. Gave me and helped me in anything I needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The location is very close to the center, 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend

The private spa was the main reason for our stay at Villa Mureno. It was beyond our expectations, especially in being private. We purchased an additional hour because we loved it so much. The hotel provided us with complimentary green drinks which was a lovely surprise. Manuel was very friendly, charming, and made sure to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

What I liked about the hotel was the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The room was spacious the bed was amazing, wifi could be better but overall a 10/10.

wifi could drop out but considering it’s in a mountain jungle town this is only a minor inconvenience.
