our room was absolutely besties as are the grounds and the facilities.
The restaurant was really over priced, especially the wine, which is a shame as you expect good quality reasonably priced wine when you are staying in a vineyard. one of the reasons that we booked was that it described being able to bike ride around the grounds but this wasn’t possible as there were no bikes. when I asked (repeatedly) about bikes reception said you just had to sort of find them around the place. my kids eventually got a couple which were immediately grabbed by other guests. quite amusing really but we had planned a family bike ride so we’re disappointed the hotel could not provide or help with the bikes, an amenity they had listed.

beautiful scenery, beautiful landscaping, safe, sunset view from the balcony overlooking the water was spectacular, bike riding, restaurant and walking.
space heaters instead of central heat and no microwave. travel into town was difficult and expensive.

Having had the experience of visiting the Tuscan region in Italy, we felt much like the same being at San Lucas. Everything at location was better than expected. Staff, (Alex) were very helpful.
Distance to San Miguel. But, it was very doable.

Yoga Shala should be available for all guest that want to use for meditation or yoga practice, it’s so beautiful

The architectural design, the look and feel of apparently being in a Toscana vineyard, also the location, away from the traffic and noise of San Miguel, but only a 10 minute drive to SMA.
The Spa is not that great since all guests can enjoy for free and book in advance the steam room and jacuzzi, to such end, the massage may not be worth the expense, since the staff can’t guarantee the amenities would be free for use when the service is done.
