Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences

I have stayed in many hotels and this is a good hotel. I liked the views from our suite the most. The sunsets were lovely as we looked unto the ocean. I also liked the location, the room and the décor, the facilities, the numerous pools. The staff was generally very helpful and effective. The views from the infinity pool near the restaurant were awesome as well. We were celebrating our birthday during our stay and Antonio at the concierge offered us good ideas for activities and restaurants that made it fun. Luis at the front of the hotel is a gem and was absolutely helpful throughout our stay. I intend to stay here again.

We had paid for a grand junior suite double with ocean view. We expected a full ocean view suite but it was a partial view. Also, the suite had only one bed instead of two. The staff at the front desk did not appear to be even concerned that we were put in a room that was different from what we paid for. They were not helpful. The rest of the staff were great and the hotel is great so.......

Amazing location (far from the romantic zone), and in a very pretty residential area. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and changed every day; I would certainly go back for the food alone. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. 5-star service. Clean throughout and the suites were very well equipped (fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as plates, cups, glasses and silverware). Very large rooms=incredible value for the money).

The one thing I didn't like was the fact that the ride company they arrange airport pick-ups and drop-offs through is an absolute scam. They charge you 80 USD for a fake luxury ride RT, when an Uber will cost you 10 one way.

The breakfast oferings were excellent. Overall the hotel Staff were the best. The location provided breathtaking views of Banderas Bay and of Puerto Vallarta. Our assigned room on the 8th floor was impecably clean and the view spectacular.

The Hotel Management did not probide adequate planing for the restaurant and food services of the hotel considering that the Hotel scheduled closing for an extended period and the Menu selections were unavailable in most items and the snacks services by the pool were closed.

The room was very spacious and clean. The view was incredible since our room overlooked the ocean/pools. The staff was so friendly and helped answer all of our questions. Every night the staff would drop off chocolate and a bottle of water for each guest. I really appreciated this. 10/10 would recommend it for anyone traveling to Puerto Vallarta!

I liked everything about this hotel. I have zero complaints. The only thing I will say is that the location of the hotel isn't near the main attractions like the Malecon so be prepared to make a 20-25 min drive. This wasn't a problem for me though as I prefer to stay in hotels that are quieter. Uber is available and the hotel always offers transportation.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with excellent service. The staff is excellent; The view is unbelievable, and the breakfast that is included is really truly outstanding. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed with plenty of space as well as immaculate.

The front desk. You need to be aware that when you check in they will charge you what they call a "room hold charge." They will state that it is to be used for charges to your room. At checkout be aware that they will deny you the ability to apply this charge and instead charge you in full for your room charges, and then tell you that at a later date, you will be refunded your "room hold charge." Still fighting for that refund.

amazing views, great breakfasts and grand accommodations. the staff was also one of the best anywhere in the world.

while the Miramar was great, some of the things advertised are no longer available ie. shuttle to town, beach club and the outside jacuzzi was inoperable on half of it.

Room are spacious and well equipped, good in amenities and provide a private terrace to enjoy the views. Views are actually the main attraction in this place, you just can't get enough of it. Breakfast is tasty and has plenty of options. The staff is awesome.

The bed was super soft and pillows huge. I like a firm mattress. On the really bad side of the rooms, specially the main door lacks of any sound proofing feature and you can hear the thoughts of the people walking outside, let alone loud talking and screaming of those inconsiderate ones (people from the USA please don't feel alluded).

clean, classy with every amenity and lots of friendly faces. We had help when we wanted it. We were left alone when we wanted it. Pools were the perfect temperature. Excellent service when we needed a taxi. Food, drink, spa services were all outstanding. Even the details like nightly turn down service, firm water pressure and quick hot water and a comfortable bed and other furniture… soft robes. We had zero complaints and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is outstanding with great views of Banderas Bay and of Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant, maid and front lobby (Bell Hop) staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean. The food is very good in quality and quantity. The inclusive breakfast is very good with a good selection of items.

Beware: You order an ice tea and the refills are not free, in fact they are $3.50 per 12 oz. glass. I spent $24.50 for Ice Tea during dinner one evening. You must order bottle water during dinner hours which is an additional charge, you can't get tap water with ice at no charge. The front lobby personnel (check-in and check-out) seem a bit arrogant and not as helpful as all the other employees. Bed was a bit hard for me.

LOVED the views! The feel of luxury and nature perfectly entwined. Our room was perfectly positioned for outstanding views of the sea and the jungle, and the inside was luxurious, comfortable, and relaxing! Each and every one of the staff that we encountered made us feel welcomed and important.

If I have to nitpick, I'd have to mention that, as beautiful and scenic as the drive up to the hotel was, with its steep, winding cobblestone streets with glorious peek-a-boo views of the ocean throughout, it made for a worrisome drive to and from the hotel during the rainy times, and taxi-drivers would remind us that most cars can't make the trip up the mountain because of the slick roads.
