Great place. Incredible manager!! Super nice people. Very private. No one bothers you. However, you have to be a little self sufficient. If you are looking to be waited on hand and foot, this is not the place for you. the manger is incredible and the views ar amazing. If you like walking, and getting in shape walking.... book this space. You will be in the best shape ever just walking the hill. I will absolutely stay there again and would recommend to anyone who enjoys their space and few people!!

Some of the amenities were not working. No fault of theirs... Earthquake took out some of th infrastructure. nothing you can see but hot tubs don't work

steep road to get to hotel somewhat daunting, no restaurant, cafe or bar - but located close to another hotel so facilities were available

The room was superbe, with a great view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The bed was comfy, and the sympathetic staff provided good ground coffee for the machine in the room. We also had our laundry made free of charge. The hotel is slightly remote, located on a very quiet (and hilly!) street, which is very nice to walk down. The closest beach (Conchas Chinas) is a hidden gem with clear water and cute little crabs. For the road up to the hotel, we always took Ubers (around 40 pesos from downtown). Oh yeah, the pool upstairs was really nice, not too crowded when we were there in july, and there's an ever better 360 degrees view of the city - probably one of the best in the city.

Mere details: the doors inside the rooms (wardrobes, toilet room) would scrape on the floor and were slighly annoying to use. It would be nice to have a locker in the room. Somebody tried to open the door of the room during our first night there, but it didn't happen for the rest of our week long stay.

no coffee in room, just water. some chairs needed to be replaced in keeping with decor. needed rattan chair cushions. position of cabinets(gorgeous) blocked access to sink headbump

The hotel is in a very quiet and beautiful location. The decor is well thought out and gorgeous. No loud parties while you are trying to sleep. Rooms offer great views due to the altitude. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from your balcony while having your coffee. Some rooms come with kitchens. Amazing staff - they really go above and beyond to meet your needs here.

The location was amazing. The most majestic and mesmerizing sunsets in PV. Recommended for people who want to stay somewhere peaceful and quiet, but still have nightlife and the city close by. The staff was incredible, shot out to Jorge, Sergio, Javier, and the rest of the staff. Always helpful and very kind. Would stay again for the views and staff. 3-4 dollar Uber and 5 dollar taxi into the romantic zone. Takes 5 mins or so. Ubers usually take 10-15 mins to arrive so plan accordingly

There are alot of things that dont work properly or at all. It would be great if all the jaquzzis worked and tub jaquzzis as well. It would also be wonderful if you had access to a few american tv stations. Netfixs hulu paramount.

The hotel is very nice and special, and we enjoyed every day of our stay. The personnel is great, the chambers are big and clean, from one side of the hotel there is a fantastic view to the ocean, from the other side there is a hill with jungle. Evenings on the roof with the spectacular views of sunsets or at the balcony over the wild nature were wonderful. There is free coffee and cookies at the lobby in the morning, and it is possible to keep and cook meals in the chambers. The nearest beach (la Playa del Conchas Chinas) seems to be one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta. It is possible to walk along the seaside through the series of the beaches to the town center, it is not really far, and it is a pleasant walk.

Important to mention: the hotel is locatedd on the top of the steep hill, and the road to / from the beach goes as a serpentine, so it takes some effort to climb back. It was not a problem for us, but it may be difficult to some others. The way to the beach is more than 1 km distance, and it takes 20-30 minutes to make it. So either be prepared to climb the hill, or take a taxi :)

Awesome view, very friendly and helpful staff. Big room and nice furnishings. Private hot tub on room patio is really nice. Really loved the pretty neighborhood, definitely recommend a car for easy coming and going, only about 8 minutes to all the restaurants and 5 min to beautiful conchas chinas beach nearby

No restaurant or bar at hotel despite internet saying there is. Reservation for 3 people was significantly more expensive than room for 2 and said sofa bed included, but there was only one bed/bedding. Staff immediately brought a 3rd actual bed in for us, which was really appreciated but also kind of meeting the reservation minimum. Took 5 minutes to get warm water in showers. Kitchen was very big and nice but no salt/pepper, dishwashing soap, etc- some basic things would be nice to make it useful for short hotel type visits

The suite was larger than expected. The ocean view was fantastic. The jacuzzi on the balcony was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly.

The only reason that I likely won't stay again is because the neighborhood is not walkable and the cobblestone streets make cab / uber rides too bumpy. You can almost get car sick going up to the top of the hill. The walk to the bus stop is difficult due to poor sidewalks. None of this is the fault of the hotel of course. It's a city-wide problem in PV.
