Riu Jalisco - All Inclusive

The entertainment was spectacular, the staff were incredible, helpful and friendly, and most of them spoke good english, the drinks were delicious, very generous with alcohol in rooms and at bar, the room was comfortable, air conditioning worked, and a fan to boot! nice balcony, and warm showers! yay! Oh and the cleaning staff/maids were so lovely with my 19 month old nephew (occupied him while my friends ate) and the buffets had lots of selection!

Very far from PVR and accessing the little villages could be pricey if using Taxi provided by hotel, however we knew this already so no problem. There was only 1 elevator row, and our room was very segragated, so it was quite a walk with children, and there was one day where they changed the times for food service (i.e all restaurants closed between 12-1 and then only 1 restaurant open for lunch and it was packed!) and gave my niece and I a hard time for wearing a pool cover in the dining room, when we hadn’t previously been told and there was no signage.

The food quality and variety is fantastic The staff is very friendy and helpful The number of chairs available for the pools and the beaxh is suficient

Rooms are a little outdated (specially the restroom) The balcony had a loose glass barrier (very dangerous specially with small kids) Elevators are very old, and very slow, a lot of waiting time for elevators

Everything was pretty good, amazing food, cool pool (a little bit dirty but ok), comfy rooms and a fun animation team with funny games at the pool... It is definitely a great option to visit, you won't regret it...

We had a problem with the payment at the beginning with the credit card, we would like the option to pay before arriving at the hotel so we can fix any problems that will exist in the check-in and not lose too much time in it. Finally we had to pay in cash which was an uncomfortable situation...

Very spacious and pretty.

The long walks to the elevator and back. We got a room on the sixth floor and sometime having to walk up all does stairs is a lot in my opinion . Specially after a few too many drinks. Staff is the usual as long as you tip you get great service. They do prefer to give better attention to tourist then natives. Got to see some interesting attitudes and interactions occur. But as long as it wasn’t directed towards me. I simply didn’t care. Went about my day.

Facility was clean majority of the staff were awesome. Rooms were good

The pool closes way to early. We were in line before a restaurant closed and they didn’t let us in because they said they were going to close soon. There was still like 45 minutes before closing. I just felt like everything closed way to early. People are on vacation and people stay up late or get back to the resort late and have no where good to eat or can’t even night swim

The whole entire vibe of the place was fantastic. The employees were ready to greet you and help you with any questions that we had. oh, and all the bar staff and basically everyone that works there are amazing.

The only issue that I had was that we could not connect to the Wi-Fi properly. This few sentence is for the general managers and CEO of Riu, please give your employees a good raise. They are the ones who make Riu look nice and welcoming, and they should be recognized for all that they do.

I enjoyed myself at this resort like never before at any other resort my family and I have stayed in. I wish rooms had more to offer space and ameneties wise. But this resorts main focus is everywhere else seeking to cater to it's guests. I have now been exposed to a whole new world and my family can't wait to visit again.

I wish hotel rooms were a bit larger. Didn't like that 2 twin beds were pushed together to make a king size bed.

Room was big enough and there was enough space. There is a child pool area which was great for small children. They also had entertainment at night both for adults and kids

The pool area had only a couple of toilets available. This was very inconvenient especially with children having to walk a long way to the bathroom. Also made it had to find an available toilet.

The various restaurants provided lots of choice for food. The washrooms around the resort were well maintained, being cleaned very regularly....they even had 2ply toilet paper, a luxury you don't get in all hotels!

It would be better if I booked for longer.

Lots of food and drink options, friendly staff

The older kids would have liked more options for slides in deeper pool. The pool with slides only has like 2ft water. The other two pools don’t really have anything specific for the kids.
