Meliá Puerto Vallarta – All Inclusive

Hotel is a little bit dated but well maintaned, staff sometimes is not very friendly but just one call to customer service solved out. In summer there is a lot of people so expect not to have fast service, if you give a good tip to the waiters then all goes better. Food is OK, do not expect 5 stars meals. Overall is a decent service and you get what you paid for, even a little bit better. Kids have a lot of fun and that is what matters the most. If you are looking for premium food and beverages and a super service then spend a little bit more money and go for other options, if your main goal is kids having fun while you have some rest with average food and beverages, then this place is for you.

Better customer orientation Faster service

the property was much nicer than the reviews lead you to believe and I had a great experience. The food was better than a bigger name all-inclusive I was at previously as well. The location is fabulous, and it’s very close to the marina.

It took over an hour to check in, and I was first in line behind one family. My room wasn’t ready and it was past check-in time. It also was a long wait to check out, and they don’t just let you drop keys and go. Also the sheets were a bit rough, which sucks if you’re sunburned. (Even if you’re not, they’re rough, but it’s my fault I burnt). The tub water wasn’t pretty at all, but ran clearer for the shower.

The food overall was good.

We were very satisfied with the staff & sincerity in their display of customer service! They were only too happy to accommodate and always with a smile! The rooms were tidied up daily which was nice. The atmosphere at the pool was festive & very kid friendly, sorta like a Cruise Ship environment. The food was very good & lots of it with a huge variety. Even a side station by the pool offering hamburgers, hot dogs, fries & nachos & all the trimmings!

Really hard to come up with a big negative. We tend to be positive & overlook small incidentals not worth mentioning. one thing that could be a positive & customer friendly is have a money exchange staff member more accessible & a separate line from those checking in or checking out.

Staff is going the extra mile to make things comfortable for the guests. Very professional waiters, very consistent sanitization effort and best contract free service I have seen yet. Range of offered activities is good.

Management should support their exceptional staff better by helping with more repair and replacement investments, like descaling showers on rooms and at the pool, clear drains of pool shower basins, supply 2nd garbage bin in the rooms, more towels so they don't have to bring them back every day after washing. Music at the pool could be less loud so one can still talk to each other.

Staff was friendly specially servers in kitchen and bars. Rooms were decent sized . Food was freshly made everyday.They could cook things if you needed something you like not on menu i.e coffee , french fries etc

Some of the mattresses were really old , they should put in new mattresses. Older building needs maintenance i.e newer shower fixtures , fix cupboards etc. Newer multi story building was alright.

Rustic and classic feel. very clean and staff was amazing. Emilio and Juan, everyone top notch, professional and personable at the same time. wonderful time.

the beach was not clean in my opinion. prefer the white sandy beaches of another part of Mexico.

Buffet meals were more than adequate. Resort has a nice ambience. Love the iguanas roaming around the gardens.

A larger separate children’s pool. The main pool was only waist deep at the deepest end.
