Comfort Inn Puerto Vallarta

Room, linens & bathroom were clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable (rare), but some of the pillows, though with clean pillowcases, still smelled like sweat. Toilet paper was thick and soft. Large rooms with good noise insulation. I liked the big cup for coffee/tea in the room, but there was no tea. I drink tea, not coffee.

Some pillows smelled like sweat, though they had clean cases. Those pillows needed to be washed & disinfected. I was not given a washcloth either day, so I had to borrow one from the maid's supply room. The breakfast was bad. The scrambled eggs were way over cooked, brown & dry. I like my eggs light, moist & fluffy and all yellow, not burnt. The fruit was hard and not ripe. (No taste). The orangejuice was NOT fresh squeezed, nor even a high quality boxed/bottled juice. There are so many wonderful bakeries around PV. Why not have fresh baked bread or pasteries? No tea available at the drink counter. In other words, breakfast was a total failure.

Walking distance to the marina zone which is full of shops and interesting things also quick trip to / from airport making a good spot for an overnight stay. Big bonus ~ complimentary breakfast which offered bowls of fruit all prepared in advance, coffees / tea / juice and some hot foods. Noon checkout really good for later day flights. they had several water stations on each floor, elevator and stairs. The bed was clean, good shower and no smoking 👍Good security on luggage storage prior to check in. nice helpful staff. nice pool area by golf course. considering proximity to airport and main road in to Puerto Vallarta it was quiet overall.

our room felt a bit outdated the lamp shades and chair were in poor condition

Comfort Inn really suits our needs as a landing spot for a few nights before we head to other locations south of PV. It is close to the airport, (we walk to the hotel), very clean, with a good size room and very accommodating friendly staff. the staff is always available to meet your needs and go out of their way to assist you. A special salute to Martin who is so warm and helpful. The only negative, (not really a strong negative) is the breakfast is average. The food is plentiful but could be a little more variety but it is included in your stay. A good deal for the price and will continue to stay there when we arrive in PV.

The breakfast could be a little healthier but good basic food.

Great continental breakfast it started early for travellers going to the Airport and lots of good coffee , spacious and clean with food options , good seating arrangements with a optional outdoor area .Safes installed in the rooms , they have carts for your luggage and easy egress and access to the front desk upon arrival , decent car parking , friendly desk staff , nice relaxing pool area with sufficient pool furniture toilets nearby , good shower in the room , the rooms in general are a decent size

The air conditioner was the old style that cycles thru it’s phases abruptly and is very , very noisy they should be replaced with up to date mini/split “heat pump air conditioner units manufacturer by many companies , room furniture could use a refresh , tiny TV they should be changed out for 60 inch models especially since tv’s are not expensive now , and the internet could be enhanced

I booked a room with a balcony, and it was wonderful. It was great to cool off in the evenings. Fair bit of noise from the highway it’s next to, but it didn’t bother me. There was some construction noise on the balcony during the day, but not in the evening. Eduardo in the restaurant was awesome… so kind and helpful! Thanks so much! Lots of bottled water in the room, and a water dispenser by the elevator on each floor. And the food is excellent. Not many choices in the morning for someone who is lactose intolerant, but I didn’t ask for any options either. I had a fridge, so the second morning there I had leftovers from my meal there the night before.

Less construction noise, but I know that can’t be helped. Not the hotels fault at all.

The Comfort Inn is well located - an easy walk to the Marina, with all its shops and restaurants. It’s also a short cab ride to the airport. The pool area is not very large, but it is very pretty and looks it would be a nice place to spend a few relaxing hours. There is quite a bit of choice at the complimentary breakfast, although it’s pretty plain. Certainly, everyone could find something to get them going in the morning. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. All in all, good value at Comfort Inn.

The rooms and hallways are tired. They could use a remodel, but the bed was comfortable. Our tv was very small for the size of the room, and the AC cover was hanging off. Nothing that impacted our stay.

The front desk staff is very efficient. If you don't speak Spanish, there is someone there that does. The rooms are nice and accommodating. I used the safe for the first time. It was easy to do. The location is awesome. Right next door is a mall with two banks so you can get pesos from the ATM's. Just a block from there is the big store Soriana. It's like Fred Meyers, or Walmart. Ask for a room Sin Calle(not fronting the main street). The restaurant is very reasonable. The breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola,juice,coffee, eggs, tortillas is off the charts! Beats anyplace in the area.

We have stayed here many times in the past 5 years. This year it wasn't that great In early Feb. There was massive construction going on in the stairways of the hotel, replacing stair tiles. Lots of dust, drilling, pounding etc. going on from 11 am till 5pm. Also construction going on behind the hotel on a 6 story golf hotel.... lots of workers and noise... we asked how long will this continue? The manager said, 3 months!. So I suggest, don't book here until late May 2023 if you want quiet!

Breakfast now includes more options than in other years. Very good! Loved the big portions of papaya.

I was told when I telephoned for reservations that my AAA discount would apply only online, through Booking.com or Expedia. So I reserved with Booking. However, the hotel clerk would not acknowledge the AAA discount.

This is a great location- right in between the airport and the marina. A shopping center is just around the block with a grocery store, a bank, and fast food. Two bottles of water were left in the room each day and the breakfast was good.

The challenge- and not the hotel’s fault - was construction right next to the back of the hotel. It would have been nice to have been warned about this. Fascinating to watch, noisy to listen to.

We really enjoyed our stay at the comfort Inn. My wife and I are seniors. We were on the fourth floor facing the pool. The sound proof windows cut out 90% of the highway noise. The black out currents got rid of all the lights along the highway. The view from our window was perfect. We had our generous continental breakfast each morning on a patio table by the pool. The hallways were really wide and the room had a safe. Easy 20 minute walk to the airport.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like about the property.
