City Express Junior by Marriott Cancun

Excellent location, near to the mall Plaza Las Americas. The place Aldo has swimming pool and breakfast included. Also 1 ride (in a mini bus which belongs to the hotel) per day to a distance no longer than 5 km. Excellent and helpful staff.

The hotel and rooms are clean. But it could be much better. Bathrooms and pool need a deeper cleanness. Breakfast is not that tasteful but since it is included within the price is not bad. It would be great if there was more variety in food.

Located next to Oxxo and a mall. Just stayed here for a night, no particular expectation. Friendly staff, reasonable breakfast but the breakfast area got too crowded with too many people without masks.

Wifi was very feeble in the room. The staff were friendly but spoke little English, so get ready with the Google translate app if you don't speak spanish. Tried to inquire about tours but no success. Staff in City Express (neighboring hotel) spoke English but didn't have information either. Far from any particular attraction or commute point, but close enough for reasonably priced taxi ride to bus and collectivo stations. Staff told me I could take 2 buses to the beach.

I was only looking for a place to crash in the night after taking some tours in Cancun area, so I was not expecting much. I chose City Express mainly because they offer continental breakfast every morning and because I found a good deal here on Booking. I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast they offer is: scrambled eggs, chips for chilaquiles, cereal, milk, toasts, croissants, OJ, tea, water and coffee (these last three are available 24/7). Rooms are in adequate size. They provide the essentials: towels, shampoo, soaps. Beds are comfortable, pillows as well. Water from the shower heats up quickly. They also have hair dryers and irons to borrow with just your ID. It's location is extremely convenient. There's an OXXO and a Subway right next door, across the street there's a shopping mall with numerous banks, restaurants, shops and Chedraui supermarket. I found I got my money's worth.

Breakfast service starts at 6:30, so it may be an inconvenience for those who take tours early in the morning. Coffee machine didn't work one day. Lobby is small so it can get crowded. They still use key cards, sometimes they don't work immediately, it can be annoying.

We were pleased that it was the only hotel that we were able to make a reservation on booking.com. It turned out to be better than expected: it has a parking lot with security guard, helpful front desk clerk to arrange covid test for our flight upon check-in, small room but comfortable beds, good breakfast in the morning.

air conditioning is a bit too noisy.

I like the quick response from the hotel staff and the hotel is in a great accessible location. Available a lot of public and private transportation. Safe and secure.

The room space is less, no laundry service(it will be good even with paid service), but it's having many other pros to choose this hotel.

Facilities and food were great! Also the staff was very helpful every time.

When you shower, there's a smell coming out of the pipes! It's pretty bad

Smell like old and one night staff girl have negative actitud. She Look mad all time.

Comfortable and clean. Close walking location to Plaza Las Americas which has shopping, a super market and restaurants. Would recommend for an economic overnight stay in Cancun.

It was easy to find. Very clean.

No swimming pool. The gym I’m in the building next to it. Breakfast very simple.
