Everything, very nice structure and friendly family staff (Itzal and Seraphine), good breakfast and parking availability. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Close enough to the center (but we had a car). Very good value of the money for what you get.

Not related to the structure per se, but if you are looking for a day trip to Cozumel, just go there and book something on the spot (there is a lot of companies and availability), booking in advance via the B&B structure is not really a bargain (costs more than booking on the spot).

awesome accommodation. from very beginning till the end the owners are super kind and great hosts-they explained everything about location, what to do, provide a free shuttle to the city and back. morover, they also helped us to get a car which was entirely beyond of everything. the room and place itself is renovated, clean and calm as it is further from the city noise. whenever we come again, we will definitely stay. fully recommended

i would just maybe recommend to enlarge portion for breakfast. however i assume if you ask, they will give you more.

Perfect first accommodation in Mexico! Swimming pool was great, we loved the breakfasts, the hosts were perfect and their service first class. We were delighted to hear they can offer special discounts on attractions. Thanks to them we visited Rio Secreto and Cozumel. They even helped us to get to the next accommodation. We felt really well looked after and it was simply perfect welcoming to Mexico and experience of Mexican generosity and kindness. Nice to have tv with Netflix! We could use bikes, there was shopping mall nearby. The house was in very quiet and safe location and you could ask about anything and could trust 100%. We loved our stay in Casa Gem and wishing Itsel and Serafin all the best!

Absolutely nothing!

we really enjoy the area and also the wonderful facilities and couple who own the property. Serafim is very helpful as is his wife Itzel. Feels like casa (home). We highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and fun stay in Playa Del Carmen. A special thanks for their rides to and from Cancun. That really starts and ends the trip in the best way. Looking forward to returning to the Gem.

Everything breakfast was wonderful good portion, room was very spacious had kitchenette and decent sized pool for the kids. Close to 5ta Avenida(downtown area) 10 minutes or so if you’re driving a car far enough from all the night life(noise).

For me it was hard to find on gps got lost, they did send me instructions on how to get there but I never opened that message. However I called them and they stayed on the phone with me while giving me instructions on how to get there.

The service provided by the hosts was just amazing! They tried so hard to make sure our stay was safe and comfortable. And the free order to make breakfast was tasty! We loved the scrambled eggs and chilaquiles.

The room was super basic with a motel style. The AC was not working so well as even with the lowest temp of 16 degrees we still felt so hot inside the room. We wish there could be more hanger in the room that way we can hang our wet clothes. But considering the price and service, we still had a great time staying here. Also if you are driving, do remeber to turn right when you see the HongKong restaurant as that's the only road that can access the hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous hosts, always there to help you and with good humour! :) Superb fluent English! Gives good recommendations where to go and when. Throw them there are some discounts also to the tours, so definitely ask from them before booking online or going by yourself. A bit away from the centre, so you should have a ride (although I heard they have 2 free shuttles per day), but thanks to that super quiet! Super wide and comfy bed! Very nice and clean. We loved our stay and definitely would go back, totally recommend!

Extremely friendly hosts. Nice, cosy and clean place. It totally suited our needs. Breakfast was made with love and always fresh. The property's location was good and quiet, but it's necessary to have a car.

Pool was a bit small and breakfast was not abundant. We didn't particularly like Playa de Carmen, but that's not the property's fault.

The room was tastefully, furnished and spotlessly clean. The linens were very good quality as were the pillows and mattress. The shower heated up quickly, and was very large with plenty of water from the showerhead. There was a little Nespresso coffee maker, which was very convenient. I loved everything about the property.

The hosts were so friendly and the room was very clean!! Also very quiet area and the breakfast was delicious. You can get free shuttles to the city centre. :)

It was only far out of the centre of Playa del Carmen (especially when you want to walk) but therefore it was so quiet.
