Palmaïa - The House of AïA Wellness Enclave All Inclusive

EVERYTHING exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, from the small touches and gifts in the room, like the pretty thermo you get to bring home or the kombucha in the mini fridge, to the friendly staff that would always greet you with a smile at any part of the resort (and the always available nomadic guide, of course). Food was INCREDIBLE, as well as all the activities in the Architects of Life program. My stay was a dream wellness retreat, with all the comfort and then some. Being able to wake up, have a nespresso at sunsrise in my ocean front balcony (in the super comfy robe), head to an early breathwork session with the sound of the ocean and then take the free bike through the jungle-like resort roads to morning yoga - I got used to it really quick ;) I had an ocean view from my giant freestanding bathtub (!) Breakfast was a dream, full of healthy fresh juices, power shots, fruit bowls and super foods. Everything you desire is available for you and they make it happen. I could write for DAYS. Long story short: it was hands down the best hotel I've ever experienced (because it's way more than "just" a hotel).

Absolutely NOTHING negative.

This place is more than a excellent hotel it is the place to find yourself, make the most special experiences, meet beautiful souls and be connected with the culture and nature. No place, no hotel, no souls, no food touched my heart more than Palmaïa! It is food for your soul heart mind and body in every different ways! Love and the brightest energy everywhere. It is the place to heal and feel peace, love, harmony and meet a lot of wonder. Just beautiful and unique. You will never find a place like Palmaïa twice on our planet. It is an priceless experience and I will always come back. Big love A.Z.

Nothing it was just perfect !

This resort - retreat is incredible! I read reviews that helped choose it, so hoping that mine will help others decide too! From the minute I arrived, the service was exceptional- some special mentions to Alberto (Beach server) and Enrique (bar man). The list goes on though with the Su Casa hostesses & servers, the Vegan Tacos staff, Room service staff, the room cleaning/Turn down service staff and Nomadic Guides. Staff made a big effort to personalize service, be patient with me practicing my basic Spanish (!) and you really get a sense that they enjoy their jobs & work well as a team. They should feel proud of how this cascades to the guests & really stands out above & beyond other 5 star service I compare it to. The a la carte food is wide ranging & delicious - speciality restaurants & the vegan taco truck to add. The Room service menu was excellent, & the main Su Casa restaurant was always my go to with a beautiful open beach view too. The only stress of my holiday was trying to eat my way through the menus! Having the options to add Dairy/meat etc is there & welcomed, but the food as served was so tasty that I didn’t feel the need. The rituals & activities offered are interesting & engaging - you don’t need to be really passionate or spiritual, just excellent options to relax & enjoy! The rooms are very new (as is the resort), spacious and my view out to the Carribean with the big balcony made it amazing to sit out in the evening with the DJ background chilled beats playing (great idea & amazing atmosphere!). The concept is for peace & relaxation with atmosphere- I found it hard to leave & kept wanting to extend my stay. A return next year is already on the list! Like other guests have commented, it stands out as an all inclusive in its own league; I had expectations based on the reviews but certainly have come away feeling it was an experience to remember, not just another nice holiday!

Everything about this place is PERFECT. The food, service, facilities and architects of life activities were amazing. I was here same time last year and had to come back - that’s how much I love it!

Vegan food was amazing. Great Chefs! Occasionally too much salt in the food. We felt very secure. pools were beautiful!! concierge very helpful via whatsapp Wonderful efforts by resort to clean the beaches daily!

MAYBE too much salt in some vegan items (marinated mushrooms??). Leave it out altogether. Bartenders need a little more training. Some drinks were hastily mixed. All dinner welcoming specialty welcoming drinks were fabulous.

Can we give 10000/10 to the staff please? 🥰 the level of their services, the vibe their stuff is creating at this resort it’s another level 💛 and Ofc, fresh hotel with unique design and territory, delicious food in all restaurants of the resort, and all practices such as sound healing, yoga etc, they have amazing teachers and many more. I came here for vacation aka self-retreat and I can say they made me feel like home within a warm community 💛 Grasias Palmaia team🙏💛 especially: i wanted to mention names of people who was always making me feel home there, but it’s gonna be toooooo long list, so again, thanks Palmaia Team, u nailed it 🙏💛🥰 If you really wanna treat yourself I highly suggest to visit this hotel 🥰

What an incredible place! The vision behind its creation ripples into every aspect of this stunningly beautiful resort! It’s a newly built resort and everything was modern and spotless. The staff who worked there were genuinely happy to be there and their joy radiated through their interaction with the guests. The Waldorf approach within their childcare was such a blessing: treasure hunting at the beach, planting seeds in the garden, using shells to make necklaces, baking bread…with the guidance of caring and loving staff: Laura, Teresa and Paco! Our kids loved every minute of it and looked forward to going every morning! My husband and I took part in the Temazcal Ceremony the first day we arrived. What a phenomenal experience! It was one of the most powerful and beautiful experiences we’ve had! The shaman Tanyah is the real thing and every aspect of the prayers, intentions, and honouring was truly beautiful. The surroundings of ocean, jungle, cenotes were breathtakingly stunning. The food was sooo good. In all 4 restaurants as well as the taco trucks. The daily walks on the beach and swims in the clean and beautiful ocean was so nourishing! The bonfires and music and dancing with my family on the sand was so fun! Playing with the paddle boards on the water was great! The yoga, primal moves class, talks with shaman session, gong bath, meditation in concert….we’re all so beautiful. This place has the capacity to heal your body and mind. So needed within our world today. We thank the owner for his vision and all the wonderful staff whom we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay! Book your trip here! You won’t regret it!

Can’t think of anything!

I loved the hotel and the whole experience ! it’s an amazing place where u feel u’re in heaven… the hotel, the rooms, the beach, the facilities, the staff, the traetments and rituals, the food …. everything is amazing …. it’s like entering in another dimension of beauty and wellness and smiley and friendly people who enjoy pampering u and who really enjoy what they do … and who trully enjoy that u’re enjoying !!! i wish I could stay longer in this paradise , but Im sure I’ll be back on day…. the smile of all the staff and kindness I keep them with me

the location was great, although a bit isolated. The staff was exceptional, so were the facilities and the activities offfered. The drinks were exceptional.

The food on the other hand was awful. Excellent ingredients but non balanced, bland food. It was a shame to see such good ingredients be reduced to the same bland and unfortunately sweet taste. Everything from soup to vegetables to main courses just tasted sweet. Vegan and vegetarian food can be superb, unfortunately nothing besides the avocado toast for breakfast was barely edible. I suggest to get some inspiration from asian cusine and the local mayan cuisine to improve the culinary experience.

I came here by accident, I needed a place to stay for one night because of a change in plans during my journey. As soon as I entered that beautiful lobby and was wholeheartedly greeted by smiling staff members, I started feeling sorry that I had just one day to spend there. Everything was perfect - amazing room and the whole hotel area, nice beach with comfortable sunbeds and convenient friendly service, the FOOD 🤤- omg, I’ve never been to a place with that many plant-based options, each meal I had was delicious, every restaurant I visited on the premises was beautifully designed and had a fantastic view either of the sea or of the jungle. The service provided by every staff member was what surprised me most of all I guess. All people were unbelievably friendly and eager to make every guest feel happy in relaxed during the stay. They also provided an e-concierge via WhatsApp, who assisted in all possible ways - to book a taxi, to book a restaurant, to send a golf car to give me a ride, to help me find the way to my room, when I got lost 😆 Very convenient! I noticed there were many activities offered - yoga and meditations and some other spiritual practices, I’m terribly sorry I didn’t have enough time to do all of that. Well, next time then! It’s also important to mention that they do really good job being eco-friendly and sustainable - no plastic bottles, renewable energy sources, they even produce amenities of their own (shampoos and show gels, after-sun creams and insects repellers) that are totally vegan. How nice is that? 💚 Needless to say, that the room was super clean, the hotel was opened in 2020 I think, so everything was new, fresh and shining. I’ll most certainly come again to stay longer and enjoy Palamaia in everything it has to offer. And cheers to the creators and all the people working there - you guys are fantastic, please keep being awesome ❤️

I can’t imagine what could be better than this place. It’s totally amazing!
