everything was good.

the a.c didn’t work in the upstairs room. upon arrival all rooms were extremely hot

The staff was pleasant, the location was ideal! It was minutes away from everything we needed! The actual condo was breathtaking! Every aspect of our room was perfect.

A few things, the actual wash cloths were never given to us upon arrival and when we requested them they made us pay 17usd for 2 washcloths. We told them that we did not receive them and they did not believe us. Also the day we purchased the washcloths we were not told that the water was out and didn’t discover that until we got back to the room. The water was back on before the end of the day, but was out due to a down tower. Also we had a couch bed for the other guest and we had no sheets or covers for them, we were able to get 1 sheet from the front desk. The stay was almost perfect, but these were the few things that were a bother.

The room is very nice and the condo itself looks super lush. Location is okay - its not that far from the main street. Its just a little dark to walk at night by yourself (as a woman) so i needed a taxi all the time..

The private pool was very cold! But still i enjoyed it (did a Wim Hof every morning ;) The shower was warm but very short warm. They say you get 5 min of warm water, it was more like 2 min. After a long day outside you just need a hot shower (at least i do)

The receptionist was so lovely and friendly. Loved the pool which was mostly empty and my room was amazing massive very comfortable bed. I also loved the view of trees and the plunge pool. The hotel gym was also very good. I also really liked the area being a bit out of town. it’s super close to the new jungle gym which was awesome. Lots of cafes nearby.

The first room I was in was outside the complex which I didn’t like, as soon as I told the receptionist she moved me inside so this was fine.

we loved the place its worth the money, we had a nice stay and time after understanding that these things happen at every hotel in tulum or area ,mosquitoes, hot water only for couple of minutes, the only problem i might recommended is to clean the hotel a bit more even if means charging more, this hotel has great potential and we loved it hospitality and had a great time the staff was lovely

I love the design, very upscale. Very beautiful!

I didn’t like that the bedrooms didn’t have a tv. We like to end our nights with a movie in bed. I also didn’t like the sewer smell in the bathrooms and that they didn’t provide washcloths.

My partner and I had a perfect stay at Cacao Tulum. It was a beautiful experience. The hotel was able to help arrange a pickup from the airport (though at a cost cheaper than what was obtainable on booking.com) and the driver contacted us prior to our arrival date to notify us. The ambience in the hotel was perfect, the room (a studio apartment) was lovely and just what we had expected. It’s a place you can stay for an extended period of time as it had all kitchen utensils, a tall fridge, private pool in the room, comfortable mattress and other needed things to make it homely. The gym facility was good as my partner made use of it throughout our stay. The staff were very responsive and requests were attended to timely. There’s no restaurant at the hotel due to the Covid 19 situation but the staff were quick to help place orders from nearby restaurants with free delivery services to the rooms. They were also very helpful in booking taxis for trips and other personal needs. The rooftop pool has a bar service though which closes by 7pm also due to Covid 19 protocols. I will particularly appreciate Aracelly, the front desk manager as she went over and beyond the usual to ensure our stay was memorable. I recommend that you try to get in contact with her if you plan on booking this condo to ensure you get the perfect treatment. She helped put nice touches to the room prior to our arrival and provided us with everything we needed. She really played a big role in ensuring our stay was memorable. I will definitely use them over and again if I’m in Tulum.

The property is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a very nice pool that we loved. We did not use the gym during our stay but it looked better than your typical hotel gym. The restaurant at the property was not open yet and the staff had great recommendations of places nearby to eat.

Unfortunately there’s still a lot of construction around the area and the roads have a lot of pot holes on the way to the property. We had a car rental and we managed just fine. But I do recommend making sure your car rental has a spare tire just in case. I’m a heavy sleeper so I had no issues. But my friend that I went with is not, she was woken up a couples of days early in the morning with the sound of the construction nearby.

The hotel was clean and looked very high class. unbelievable for the low price its stated. Beds were big and comfy. You had a freezer there and a nice clean bath.

The streets in Tulum are a big mess. I've never seen something like this before. How can the hotels be THAT good but the streets are the worst i have ever seen. Big bumps everywhere. Most of the cars from the locals there are damaged. Be careful there when you are with a rented car !

The staff was extremely accommodating. We got an upgrade to the penthouse suite which was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. Housekeeping came everyday and we never had a single issue. The condo also has many amenities including a large infinity pool, pool bar, and gym. The place is close to downtown and many restaurants. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Tulum! We had an incredible experience.
