Era Hotel & Spa Tulum

There was nothing that I didn’t like about Era Hotel & Spa. Even before I arrived the staff took care of arranging transportation from CUN to Tulum. Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile, bags taken to the room and a brief tour of the property. No matter the time of day the staff greeted you with a smile; was ready and willing to assist and/or provide recommendations. They provided free bicycles for use to use to bike to the Tulum ruins. Awesome stay and experience, definitely would pick this hotel again.

Honestly there was nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

I recently stayed at Era hotel in Tulum and it was an amazing experience! The decor and furnishings were beautiful and stylish, and the large pool was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious - I couldn’t get enough of it! Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

The whole hotel and rooms are gorgeous. The hotel is small and quiet but perfect for relaxing. The location is great for the small local restaurants and bars and they have bikes to access the Main Street! This location is perfect if you want to stay away from the business of the beach road so bare that in mind when booking.

We stayed for 2 weeks and didn’t have any hot water the whole time we were there. As the aircon is so strong in the room it was sometimes not very pleasant. There is also no TV which isn’t a problem when your busy in the day but would definitely have be a bonus in the evening. There is very very little wardrobe space - only 2 small drawers and a couple hangers. The room is definitely big enough to have more!

unfortunately had to cut our stay short only managed one night due to something coming up which was gutting as the room is absolutely beautiful! really handy location in tulum town and not far from beach , it was my partners birthday and the staff put little balloons and drink in the room such a nice request and the most loveliest staff will be going back once back in tulum!

The actual shower was great, it has good water pressure. Loved the plants and the lights. Free parking but limited spaces) Felt quite secured with the bell at the entrance.

I hated that there was no door in the shower cubicle, be careful because when you take a shower it sprays sounds the room. I didn’t like the pillows decor, they were uncomfortable. I didn’t like that the breakfast is not in the hotel (you have to walk to a restaurant)

We loved the bathtub in the shower. My 5yo daughter had so much fun! The bed was super comfortable and big and we did sleep very very well. I also loved the idea of the little book to write in in the room. If you are looking for a quiet sanctuary right in walking distance to La Valeta bars and restaurants - this is a lovely place to stay!

Well, I guess I expected the outside to be more spacious, like more space to hang out and relax other than the room. And even though the free breakfast (delivered to the room even!) was delicious, the lady working at the restaurant isn’t what I would call a people-person. She was obviously very stressed and overwhelmed that day, cause she did the kitchen/service by herself as far as I could tell, I really don’t blame her. Yet it’s something that a service-oriented hotel should consider. 🤍

Beatifull spacious room, very clean, nice layout, good shower,...spacious bed but a bit hard

Wifi was suboptimal sometimes. The breakfast was delicious but a bit poor (a juice, coffee, small yochurt/granola bowl and some small pastries like a crossoints). Would expect a bit more choice, and not everyday the same breakfast. Overall we booked with last minute discount, but i think its overpriced.

The staff at Era were extremely helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to answer any queries. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and was beautifully finished. The breakfast included was very tasty, with a wide range of options. We would definitely stay here again!

It is slightly out of town. However, the free bikes on offer from the hotel made it easy to get into the centre (5 minute cycle), as well as the beach (30 minute cycle).

location was quaint with access to street shops and restaurants. beds were comfortable and quiet a/c. weekend staff very nice and friendly.

We chose this property because of the wonderful breakfast and restaurant reviews unfortunately this was closed during our stay, would have been nice to be made aware before booking the with breakfast option. Open shower facing the bed has odd, but didn’t bother us much.
