The Palms Resort of Mazatlan

The location is good if you have an ocean-view room, otherwise you will face a very high 24/hour traffic avenue. We had a renovated room with ocean view, comfortable, clean, good-quiet air-conditioner. Wifi is free but low signal in the room, normal strength in public areas. Very good Japanese restaurant in the hotel and several nice ones with seafood in a walking distance

No room service, no mini-bar or any small fridge, breakfast is only a la carte in Panama restaurant where the service is extremely slow, the food is more or less ok, but waiting 40 minutes for an omelet kills the experience.

Location is superb. The Palms has begun a major construction project operating from sunrise beyond sunset. The cranes, heavy machinery noise is quite loud. This probably continues a few months. The new facilities on the ocean will definitely add to the amenities.

LOVED the pool, the friendly staff, the loungers around the pool and in the sand. Service by the pool was excellent. The palapas are really a nice feature. The lobby is welcoming and beautiful. Gorgeous runs and walks along the beach from here. Rooms were very comfortable and the cleaning staff are excellent. We had a great view and it is wonderful to here the waves at night. Towel service was also really nice. I really like that its not a big high rise style hotel where it feels less personal and way too busy. It never felt too busy here even when it was full.

Rocks in the water in front, but it was easy enough to walk to a safer beach Walking around the Zona Dorada on the roads is not so nice Don't love Panama as a restaurant I wish the tennis court was still there

It was great, specially having Panama restaurant accessible.

The only thing was, that make sure when they get a room clean and ready for next guess they also check under the beds since we found empty cups and food wraps when we got there and started putting are stuff away and my son was putting some of his sandals under the bed he notice those items. Other then that everything was great.

The location is great and the hotel open floor plan is amazing. The restaurant, Panama that's located in the resort which open ups to amazing breathtaking views from the pool to the ocean. The food in Panama is delicious and it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only inconvenience was not being told that, I would have to open a credit for buying food and drinks and by that time I didn't want to walk to my room to get my credit card at the moment. Overall, staff and the amenities and location is great. I felt 1000%% percent safe while there and I'm already planning my next trip with my kids in June 2022. Viva Mexico!!!

Friendly staff, very helpful. Mum left her mobile phone behind, the cleaning staff handed it back to reception, and we got it back from the reception staff

They didn't want to refill our drinking bottles for personal use, instead they wanted us to buy more plastic bottles. A fountain is our suggestion. There are big rocks under the water on the sea directly to the hotel. You will have to walk a bit for a swim in the sea.

Pool. Just next to the ocean. Panama restaurant inside the hotel. This restaursnt is a famous local restaurant chain with a great variety of food for brekfast, lunch and dinner.

Rooms. - poor light. They have only lamps with dim yellow light - rooms with street view doesnt have balcony. Therefore you dont have a place to dry tour clothes

Otherwise with a positive thoughts, view of the ocean was spectacular, Panama restaurant has really good food, bakeries, and the cakes were delicious. I understand nothing is perfect, and I have to stay overall we had a good time in this hotel. Thank you!!

Needs some update with furniture. There were some mold building up on the bathroom wall, kinda freaked out my daughter. Also because of the humidity so high, has to be a dehumidifier in the room. Which we had to empty, like twice a day. They didn't emptied for us, only the first time when we asked. So we don't want to complain, and did it for us. Water bottles wasn't supplied every day, so we had to ask a few times. And we also bought ours of course.

Loved the place.. the food was great. The front desk service amazing the hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel was a bit dated in our room.

The phone did not work in our room. The pool need a make over, however it was still amazing and beautiful and a great stay..

The view from the hotelroom and balcony on the 4-th floor was stunning. The service from the Panama restaurant at the pool is perfect and also the pool and view of the beach is TOP. And the bellboys are friendly and helpfull with your lugage and with taxi.

The girl from the pool towels in the morning is often not there and she wants your ID card to keep it where every one can steal it. Strange service, your room number and your last name of the reservation should be enough to get a free pool towel
