The hotel is located in what I would call the suburbs of Amsterdam. It's away from busy downtown, but easily reachable by either tram or metro, which are within walking distance (I recommend the tram). The staff was quite friendly and always had a smile. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but overall clean and inviting. A great bonus is the Spar supermarket located right next to it, so you can stock up on drinks and breakfast before heading out to explore Amsterdam.

-Loved the mini fridge because we drink a lot. Big capacity also. -Excited that the windows open, because we always sleep with them open for fresh air. -The self-service mini market located at the reception is also a + for the night cravings or thirst. (Note: directly next door is a supermarket for everything.) - Well tasting breakfast with local farmer's products. -Nice big TV in the room with many channel options to choose from (German, Dutch and American) -Tram is also within 10-15' walk, through a cute neighborhood and park.. Subway is also somewhere close, -The staff is also very friendly, positive vibes & helpful. -The personally signed welcoming cards from housekeeping is a really cute touch. Is something small, but I appreciate the seconds they spent for this. So overall we were happy and satisfied customers.

As a negative I would only take that the restaurant is open only for breakfast on weekends. We would have liked trying their food. But it was not a big deal. I am happy for the employees getting weekends free.

it is a nice organised modern hotel with great breakfast. There was a bath tub that made my young daughter very excited. The bed was comfy, there was a safe and the room was modern and fairly large. View was very good to some ponds and garden on the ground floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I guess the "price" you pay for getting all these goodies for a low price, is the location. Actually the surrounding neighbourhood is upmarket and very pleasant. No problems there. The only problem is that the nearest bus/tram stop is 10 mins walk and the bus to the airport is 15 mins walk. I didn't find this a major problem, if anything I welcomed the chance to increase my step count.

Hotel was well presented, seemed to be very clean and well kept. The free refreshments by the reception was a nice touch as it was very hot when we went. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The restaurant was very expensive and breakfast particularly was very overpriced, something like $25 for a full breakfast I cant remember exactly. The location of the hotel was not convenient at all as it was further out of the city than we thought, it was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest tram station and then it was about 20 stops on the tram until we got into the centre of Amsterdam.

Nice room, good food (great breakfast buffet), early breakfast hours (starting from 7:00), a pleasant spacious restaurant, friendly staff, very simple/unproblematic check-in and check-out. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, already equipped with coffee capsules, sugar. Which was nice.

The bathroom door is just a piece of muted glass that sways on hinges , without a lock or any possibility to close it firmly (one needs a bit of privacy in the bathroom, you know, travelling with kids). But if you are staying alone or as a couple, that is not a problem. The location/neighbourhood - were not bad per se, but kind of deserted and away from everything. The nearest underground station is in some 15-20 minutes of walking on foot. One should estimate this additional time/distance in advance, if you are on a schedule or travelling with luggage, children, etc.

I recently stayed here, it impressed me with its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent breakfast. The rooms were spotless, the hotel was well-maintained, and the staff was professional. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel for a clean, comfortable stay with a great breakfast.

The staff at breakfast were annoyed at me asking about the ingredients of the bread. They kept reminding about the end time of the breakfast even though there was still half an hour remaining. The hotel is not very well connected with the public transport, especially on the weekends.

Comfortable, quick access to public transport bus or about 13 minute walk to the metro. Near the police station. The breakfast location across the street was great for quick groceries and Toastis.

They didn’t tell us you have to insert the room key into the designated slot once inside the room to turn half of the electricity on. We thought a breaker had blown and when we asked they thought this was common knowledge (from the US). Might be here, was new to us. Easy to use once we knew but jet-lagged and confused was hard. Staff was originally unapologetic about changing check out dates because we used booking.com which seemed passive aggressive, they ended up resolving it but felt like a middle man.

Hotel is cheaper than most hotels within city center of Amsterdam. Hotel has nearby bus station but it will require a bit of walking. Hotel has nearby Spar mini grocery although you can buy basic needs within hotel itself. There are random spots of free parking nearby (5 mins walk from hotel).

Room was a bit small. Hotel is understaffed on certain nights (receptionist was also the one who brought my extra bed to my room). Car parking available but expensive (EUR 30/24 hrs). Extra bed also expensive (EUR 50/night)

I liked the location. It wasnt in the city centre, but it was 15 minut of bus ride from it. This location however gave us the opportunity to see a more "normal" part of the city and we were completely stunned. It took us app.10 minutes to get from the bus stop to the hotel and we went through a nice park (with rabbits running around), next to multiple ponds/canals and nice neighbourhood. Recommend.

The doors to the bathroom were not soundproof and couldnt be shut completely.
