Apple Inn Hotel

Beautiful, clean hotel very close to Museumplein - 1 stop with the tram or 10 minutes by foot, and to Vondelpark. The breakfast was delicious and all of the personnel was always smiling, very helpful and polite. The room was clean and very well laid-out.

The only thing that I would suggest is some form of cooling system in every room during the summer. Our room was with a street view and was very hot so we had to keep the window open, however, the tram and cars passing by are very loud. So you kinda have to choose between sleeping in a silent, hot room or in a noisy cool one. If an AC or a ventilator is installed, the problem would immediately be resolved. Other than that, I love the room very much.

Elegant, relaxing hotel. Nice location in quiet residential area but still convenient for tram access to the centre, museum area and Vondelpark. Good breakfast, delicious bread and croissants from an excellent boulangerie around the corner. Comfy bed. Very friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. Very clean. Good value in an expensive city. Useful outside space on ground floor.

Our room was small, hardly any room on one side of the bed as too close to wall and radiator. Bathroom was really tiny. Not enough electric sockets, kettle provided but only socket usable for this was on a minute bedside shelf. Only tea provided in the room, no coffee.

The front desk folks and staff throughout the building were incredibly helpful and kind. the bed was very comfortable and the room well decorated and clean. The location wasn’t near the city center but the public transportation was close.

There was extensive construction that was being done on immediately next to our room. they began around 7:30-8:00 each morning so sleeping in was not an option. The location had a nice park that we enjoyed but overall if you’re visiting it is a long walk to get to the city spots where there is activity and dining options.

Bicycles can be rented at the hotel to enjoy the traffic of the Bicycle Capital of the World. Very good breakfast with a sufficiently large selection of both hot and cold dishes. The hotel is located in a very quiet area.

We stayed in the middle of April and it seemed that the room could be a little warmer. There were some visual imperfections in the room, which catch the eye, but do not prevent a full stay here.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet residential area with great restaurants nearby and close to Vondelpark. Extremely well connected with the city center. Clean and spacious room with a cozy little balcony. Bathroom was spacious, clean and perfectly functional. The entire staff was wonderful and friendly!

It's a small structure so I could hear other travellers going in and out their rooms late at night or early in the morning. An inconvenience easily fixed with a pair of earplugs.

If this is not your first time in Amsterdam and you already want beautiful views and less tourist traffic - this is the option for you. Excellent location: a few minutes walk to the park. Very friendly and caring host, always ready to help. Windows to the courtyard.

Very uncomfortable bed - two beds connected into one, but they constantly tried to become separate. It was extremely hot without air conditioning, but there was a fan. The room is very small, the bathtub is also very compact. It would be nice to have more clothes hangers and a trash bin in the room. In general- not bad, the location of the hotel and the warm welcome of the hosts compensate for some inconvenience.

It was warm, and the lovely balcony doors opened out to the gardens. The bed was very comfortable, and the white towels fluffy. The staff were friendly. I was visiting my sister who lives around the corner, so this was the perfect location for me. It is a quick walk to the big art museums, there's a supermarket close by, and it was only 25 mins on the bus to the airport.

The room cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. And I asked for ice one night and there wasn't any. The same guy was working the next night and he had made sure there was ice which was great, but then after that the other staff just said there was no ice! It seemed like an easy thing to have available.

Beautiful hotel in a very nice neighbourhood. Easy walking distance from Museumplein and easy to reach centraal via Tram 2. Wonderful to have Vondelpark close by which we made plenty of use during our 3 night stay. Best part of our stay in Apple Inn was the excellent customer service. We were travelling with our 5 children and the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist us with any questions (ordering takeaway, directions etc.). We opted for breakfast each morning which was fresh, plentiful and came with excellent coffee. We also enjoyed the outdoor garden in the evenings. We stayed in a quad and triple room which were spacious and came with cooling fans which were very welcome in the warm weather. I would have no hesitation in recommending Apple Inn Hotel to family and friends as a friendly, service orientated accommodation in a beautiful part of the city.

I was a little dismayed when I saw the road was dug up on arrival. This was not the fault of the hotel of course and on the plus side, it meant there was no road noise at night :) This didn’t impact our stay at all in this beautiful neighbourhood.
