ASURE St. John's Court Motel

Owner/managers were friendly and helpful, with good tips and local knowledge about the cycle trail we were riding, and where to eat. All units are ground floor and the carpark is spacious. I was very pleased to see an enclosed/covered bicycle shed under construction to a high standard. The location is on the main road, with shops very nearby. The motel is also easy to find and close to the Clutha Gold cycle trail.

The landlord was very friendly. The motel is neat and clean, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was available and good. We used Milton as a base to visit Dunedin, which is less than an hour away.

The motel is located directly at the state highway with its heavy traffic and thereby, some noise was present all day.

Checking in was easy. The staff were helpful. The location was good - the main road traffic noise is blocked out by the double glazed doors. A comfortable room on the main road with all that we needed for the stay. We liked it enough that we tried to book a stay at an Azure motel in Oamaru but they were full.

The main curtains were a bit worn in parts and the shower door does not seal fully so water gets on the floor. This is more an issue for long term property maintenance as they did not affect our stay in any way.

It was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stop over. Owners were friendly and helpful. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment walking distance to town.

Could maybe change the colour of the bed spreads if wanted to make it a little brighter and fresh but purely subjective.

We were visiting friends in Milton and opted to stay at the motel as our friends house is a tad small. I looked online and St Johns had amazing feedback on the cleanliness of their accommodation. We were not disappointed. They were in the perfect location, only a couple of minutes walk from our friends house and the owners were really lovely and friendly, both on the phone and in person. We would totally recommend this motel to anyone:).

We are a family with a little baby had a great night there. Everything of John's Court Motel is excellent, location is on the highway but quite. Our two bed room apartment is very clean, massage tub and comfy bed. Also, John is very nice and helpful, special thanks to him for helping me call doctor for a small incident.

Perfect location for exploring the mount Cook area. Beautiful views of lakes, mountains and places to eat within walking distance. Comfortable, well equipped room in pleasant surroundings and somewhere to sit outside. We were particularly grateful for the help we received when our van broke down.

The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly being happy to assist in whatever way he could !!! I stayed in this motel couple of times. Very convenient location, heaps of parking, just walkable distance to restaurants, cafes and shops. The rooms were very spacious with big wardrobes, TV, big couch, table, chairs and attached big sized bathrooms etc. The kitchenette was very tidy with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, milk and so on - all available for guests to use. Beds were very comfortable, enough heating so I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow! All in all, it was a great experience for the cost, will definitely book again.

Lovely service. Kids all had showers and I had a wonderful spa bath. Hot water not a problem. Beds were lovely and comfy. Quiet even with trucks crusing past. TV was set up so NO messing around as have found a few like this.

Quite clean & tidy, nice & dry. Easy to access a reception. Milk&Towels&shampoos, saop, makeup cleansing tissues provided. Love to have own kitchen & bathroom. Reccomend 👍

There was a small heater for whole place, so it took time to get warm😅, but each bed has a electric blanket 😊
