Aloha Seaview Resort Motel

It was a very comfortable stay. We had our 7 children 3 with partners and 2 grandchildren in four different rooms. Each different and ideal for us. Too cold for pool use but it looked inviting. Spa pool was great for grand bbies both 1yrs. So if u were hoping for hot, it's not like that. Also 30mins per person or group in spa which was good. Games room was good. The boys hung out there alot. We brought table tennis balls but that's minor. Used the BBQ for family lunch. A couple spread out for use. We stayed 2 days and 2 nights. Loved it. Staff is very comfortable. They stay out of ur way unless noisy or needed. It's a great place!

Only one thing we didn't like. Which was when we woke for early morning loo. We saw a couple roaches on kitchen bench.

We had a large room for 3 persons good view from our balcony.

Parking was a bit of a shamosal. Pillows were foul and need to be bined. Garden needs alot of attention and laundry needs help yuk. For the prices you charge, things need to be done pronto. Huge lot of maintenance needs to be undertaken. Male manager and cleaner were great. Such a huge establishment that needs a complete overhaul. But it won't get done, so I will stop wasting my time.

The room was very spacious. The foldout bed was comfy Pool towels were good size, appreciated that the towels are different from room towels Nice lighting Great to have a fan, especially during the summer season Thank you for opening the pool and spa pool at 9am, most accommodations open at 10 on checkout, so we were very happy to have a morning swim and spa before checking out.

The deck table needs to be thrown away, bolts sticking out from underneath, can scrape against your legs if you are unaware Not exactly a seaview directly from your room, had to walk out on the lawn to see Pool needs a good clean, and the lawns were not mown The games room needs attention, especially the pool table, I mean if you are going to advertise as a means of attraction.

The location of my room was perfect. I wanted peace and quiet and that’s what I got. I loved that I was on the ground floor. Fan in the kitchenette worked well. TV had sky channels. Internet connection was fast. I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing that annoyed me was when the owner came knocking on the door asking to flick a switch and then coming back 5 mins later to turn it off? The gravel driveway was noisey. I could hear vehicles that came and went, but it didn’t bother me that much.

Our room was bright and spacious and comfortable. It was a short drive out of the busy centre of Paihia so it was quiet.

The worst thing about the motel was turning into it off the busy main road. The entry turn was difficult to spot near the top of a hill and a bend in the road. We never felt safe turning in. There were signs but something more is needed to mark the actual drive in.

Very pleasant manager. Booked one night to visit friends. The unit was very good value. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of hot water. Electric blanket on the bed and a heater in the lounge meant we were not cold. Kitchen appeared sufficiently equipped .

One small suggestion would be to replace the couch in the unit with another comfortable chair. This did not detract from our stay.

loved having a pool and Spa, the games room was awesome with a cool pool table and a Ping Pong table, the owner Sondeep was awesome he is very relaxed and made us feel at home. we didn’t need to pay extra money for our family and children to go and do activities in Paihia as everything was right there at our doorstep. Having a kids playground was good too, all these things catered for a really cool family stay.

The rooms could have been a-bit more cleaner and tidyer , we had cockroaches in our kitchen area under the bench (Room 2, Family room by the pool) we stayed for 6 nights, 2 of the stove tops weren’t working, these were a small worry to us considering the place for our kids was awesome.

Awesome location, feels quiet and secluded in the bush even though only a 2 min drive to township. Top floor units have superb views of sea! And kids lived in the big pool!

Quite a few things need money spent on them. Very limited range of kitchen utensils and pots. Broken steps on pool ladder made it extremely difficult to exit the pool! Pool needs resurfacing. More fans needed in the summer!

Huge room. Very spacious. Felt like home. Pool looked lovely as did spa, but weather and other engagements precluded use. Kitchen area very good, everything exactly where it was expected. Nice to have the bathroom very separate to sleeping area No view, but not really a consideration as the size of the downstairs at the back of the motel more than made up for it.

television could have been a smidge bigger and netflix would have been good. Shower head could have been a little higher but nice shower just the same.

Great all-round accommodation and value for money for a family. Great balcony with afternoon shade and spectacular view. Well located especially if you don't mind walking a bit, being an easy 10 min walk down the hill to the beach and 15 mins to Paihia wharf. A bit of energy required to get home up the hill but not a problem for those physically able and up for a bit of exercise.

Pool was nice but water could do with a bit more maintenance to be cleaner / clearer. Ran out of toilet paper on day 1 so had to buy our own - not a big deal as we already had but be prepared and don't expect 5-star service here.
