Easy access, and even though on the highway, it was quiet. Quick check-in. Shared laundry, but we arrived just in time to get a load done. Our apartment actually looked better than the photos, the kitchen was functional with enough equipment to make a little dinner. We had a spa bath, which we didn't have time to use, but loved that towel warmer. We found a classical music station on the TV! It's nice they provide real milk for your coffee or for hot chocolate with your cookies.
Okay it's just instant coffee.

Excellent service from the friendly family that own and run the business. We were pleasantly surprised to find the inhouse menu was so reasonably priced and actually cooked by the owners. Every meal we had was excellent. Why go out when we could enjoy home cooked breakfast in our room. We will definitely stay with the Chamberlins on our next visit to Whangarei.

Loved the owners very very helpful and cheerful. Organized takeaway meals to be delivered to our unit and debited to our room account. Many extras you don't get in motel accommodation. We were recommended to use this motel and are certainly going to recommend it on to any friends traveling to Whangarei.

Breakfast was excellent, but we didn’t use the cooked option. The location of the property on a busy road required care. Stephanie and family were friendly and helpful.
For Unit 6, there was a lack of shady outdoor seating.

The room was actually a unit! So had anything you needed. It was absolutely spotless, which is the most important thing to me. Pristine rooms. Hosts were very friendly and had the bonus of meeting Lucy and Reggie at reception ( the lodges pups.)

David and Stephanie were very helpful during my stay, completely sorting out what I needed during my stay. The wisteria outside in the pergola area is very beautiful, highly recommend a stay during the spring season.

Fantastic as per usual. Very friendly staff who were happy to accommodate us pre arrival by storing our bags. They chilled our beverages while we were out and about and couldn’t be more helpful. Very comfy bed and great bath!
Only thing would be the pillows. However they’re very much a personal preference. Everything else was fantastic. The best place to stay in whangarei!
