Hotel Alvorada

Great location with a nice short walk to the beach. The area is quiet and you can also walk along the beach to Cascais at night. Hotel is well maintained and very clean. Staff is super nice and helpful. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Btw, garden view rooms are located behind the hotel and seems like brand new in 2022, enjoy

The hotel description says there are limited free parking on site, but I suspect there are little to none in reality. The check in lady told us the car park was full, supposedly first come first served, without checking if there are any spaces available. I think it is better off just describing as no free car park available. The ticketed car park right in front of the hotel is only €6 per day (I think!)

Easy free parking available in front of entrance, attractive modern room with balcony on quiet residential street (ask for a room on opposite side of entrance if you don't want a view of the casino), enough space for open luggage, large comfy bed, plenty of seating, electric kettle and espresso machine

very small shower, constant glare on TV built into glass wall, TV slow to start up, slow WiFi, minimally clean - cups were dirty, carpet stains

everything from staff the the room. Everything was well maintained. Staff was super friendly and room was perfectly clean. I would give this hotel definitely 4 or more stars. there wasn’t anything bad about it. if you had any requirements staff was happy to do whatever it takes to please your stay. I will be definitely back there.

Beds were very comfortable and the staff were very kind and approachable. Good location from cascais if you have a car/bike or like a short (3km) walk.

The showers could be a bit more modern, the tap fell my shower the first time I used it... there was no soap either in the bathroom.

Close to the beach and the train station, room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The balcony was lovely.

Need more non-pork options at breakfast time. The air conditioning was hard to work out. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be good.

Well located hotel. Spacious and clean rooms.Kind staff. Fairly priced hotel for the aera.

Fridge was not powered. A supplementary bottle of water would be appreciated if it existed. Breakfast despite being charged extra was just basic.

We had a lovely room with sea view on the 4th floor. Very relaxing! The hotel location is excellent, within walking distance of many restaurants and Estoril beach.

Whilst the municipality has enforced paid parking in the entire zone every day from 09h to 02h in the morning the hotel has designated spaces outside and some basement spaces. I was worried that I would be having to pay the meter whilst I sleep but so far have always got one of these spaces sometimes returning at midnight.
