HF Fenix Porto

Excellent clean and modern hotel. Stayed in a very large room, bright and spacious, and absolutely pristine clean. The reception staff was very professional and answered all our needs. The free transfer from the airport to the hotel is a huge added value: a private car waiting at the airport and taking us straight to the hotel in comfort. Booked a transfer back to the airport with the reception at a very unreasonable hour and the car was perfectly in time. It's located slightly away from the hustle of the tourist areas, but it gave us a chance to walk more and explore some very nice places. All in all, a very comfortable stay and we will repeat it if ever back in Porto.

Front desk staff were amazing. Asked where to go for a drink and view (the night of arrival) and they went out of their way to help with suggestions. Took an Uber to go downtown and it was cheap cheap (like 3euro). Breakfast was outstanding. Broad selection including sparkling wine for your mimosa! Crème caramel, wide assortments of fruits, eggs, quiche, fresh breads, croissants etc. Very clean, renovated and clean contemporary design. Spacious family room.

This is a wonderful hotel with v.good facilities,excellent room and it is very close to a shopping Mall and lot of restaurant type stalls in the market close by as well . The staff go above and beyond excellent at the reception and bar staff,nice to go to the hotel where you were made to feel welcome. The plus also was they got our room ready way ahead of time for booking in .

Nothing one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we have been in loads and will definitely visit soon because we are only down the coast.

I was working 10 minutes walk from the hotel but I had remote meetings in the morning so I was up early and had breakfast. The breakfast has a great selection and it set me up for the day. All the staff were friendly and I was well looked after. It is a short walk to the underground stations and there are lots of bus stops.

From my perspective it was great. I just did not have the time or energy to use all of their facilities.

The room was spacious modern and functional. Our room had a very poor view of a wall but all in all we were happy with the facilities provided.

I find it strange that in a double room there is only one easy chair. I also suggest that there should be towel rails provided as damp towels cannot dry out on the shelf provided and the pegs in the shower are insufficient. Finally, I had to contact reception to find out how to turn off the light on the TV backboard. On the first night I switched the fuse off as I could not find the switch. this must be more visible!!!!!

Room for three - spouse plus adult daughter. Happy with all facilities and service. Slightly noisy at front of hotel, but not something the property can control. A it of a walk to the old centre but again -our choice and close to shopping centre and main route to airport. Small quibbles - it would have been good to have some information on restaurants and transport options in general information booklet. Many of the traditional restaurants seem to have disappeared and others hard to locate amongst the 'modern generic' options - unfortunately. Also - no info on what is needed to travel around city - it would have been helpful to have this as not too obvious re. tickets and where to purchase for buses etc. Otherwise, very happy with hotel.

No real problems at all. We were a little unclear what to do about masks, so adopted what seemed to be the general approach. Hopefully correct.

Reception experience was good and provided a safe environment. The room was well appointed and all maid activities were invisible to my stay. When shoe cleaning items were requested these were immediately available from reception staff. Breakfast had a good choices for me, but I suspect if you are vegan the menu choice might be restricted (as most places). I visited the BeoVista Rotunda and visited the Atlantic beach at the end of Ave Beovista and had lunch and walked back via the river to the hotel. This was a 15km walk, probably not recommended for some, but very covid safe activity.

It is not the first time we have stayed here. We came back because the rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and clean and also with a fair price. The breakfast is also good. I would only like to find more gluten and lactose free options. We also like the location although it is not central but next to the hotel there's a food market and a small shopping mall which is quite convenient and a lot of cafés and restaurants.

Very good location - quiet area, close to metro, still not so far from city center by foot (20-30 minutes) and next to market Bom which is great place to eat. Spacious room with everything you need. Own underground parking at 12 EUR per day which was important for me. Friendly people in the hotel.

Breakfast space felt bit depressing contrasting to the rest of hotel. Breakfast itself was kind of average.

Lovely spacious rooms, absolutely spotless. Bathroom was nice and bright, spacious and again spotless. Great space to get ready in. The beds were super comfy and hotel staff were friendly. The perfect base for exploring Porto. About a 10 minute taxi ride to anywhere you’d want to visit, bars, river etc. There’s a supermarket and a food market a few minutes away which was a great spot to grab some food locally!

Nothing, wish we could have stayed longer!
