Porto Palácio Hotel by The Editory

One week stay at Porto Palacio. Great hotel with clean facilities and very helpful staff. The breakfast was very good (they got even red/white wine). The view from the top floor is superb. Reccomend the hop-on hop-off buses available from several companies (stop station across the hotel). A minimarket is next to the hotel for water/wine/etc.

Although a bit far from the city centre, there are busses and taxi station just across the road (we also used free-now and uber app rides).

We made use of the spa facilities they were great, breakfast was continental and all the food was fresh and warm. The room was incredibly quiet and very spacious. We had dinner in the roof top restaurant and that was a wonderful experience. All staff onsite were friendly and helpful

If I have to find something to complain about it would be that we were only given 2 sachets of coffee (of which one was decaf) for a room with 2 occupants. There is only a kettle in the room not a coffee machine, sharing in case anyone else misunderstands the room description as well. (Which says coffee/tea maker and separately lists kettle as well)

Every single thing, it’s amazing the smell when you enter the hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff are phenomenal they will do anything for you! The cleaners after every day leave chocolate on your pillow it’s the little things but they all add up to make this hotel exceptional.

Nothing, the only thing I will say is that the hotel is a bit out of Porto centre but Uber is very cheap and their is a tram line 5 minutes down the road that takes you into the centre, and if im honest I would stay in this hotel again because I like the way it’s out of the centre.

Room was very spacious and it had everything we needed, including an iron and ironing table -- it's more of a personal need of mine, rather than a popular fantastic bonus ahahha Comfortable robes, slippers, complimentary water and coffee and tea The view was wonderful - we were given a room on the 12 floor Breakfast had enough options and was good -- it didn't wow us, but it was a sufficient tasty breakfast

Not critical but maybe add disposable toothbrushes and mini tooth paste Not sure if there's an option to have like more coffee options during breakfast - like capuccino, cortado, perhaps, I should've asked but I believe you could only get like americano coffee with milk or without milk and that's it

The room is spacious and stylish, bed is comfortable, air conditioning is silent. There is a hotel discount to the spa center, also free pool, sauna and gym. A free drink voucher into the hotel's bar. Bus stop is 3 min walk, metro is 10 min walk.

5-star hotel is not only about a free pool, mramor interior and sensor wardrobe light, but first of all it is undoubtedly flawless basic services. There was an issue with that on our first day. The bathtub drain was sealed when we moved in. Calls to reception were ignored first two times, and on the third time it was declined. Only after we went down the receptionist called a plumber. The plumber fixed the drain, but complained that the plumbing parts are worn out. The bathroom not only had the drain problem, but also there were black spots on bathtub edges that looked like mold.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable and quiet even though located near the elevators. I went to the spa to get a massage, which was also good. Good service in the breakfast area, the hostess remembered my name and greeted me by name every morning, which is a nice touch. The view from the top floor is nice too. There's a supermarket next to the hotel and some restaurants down the road towards the Casa de Musica. All in all a good place to stay during my holiday.

Probably bad luck, but the power in my room went off during the last morning of my stay. I reported it at the front desk, and it got dealt with while I was having breakfast. During my stay there were roadworks going on in front of the hotel, so maybe your shoes or the wheels on your suitcase can get dirty (not too much of a bother for me). It's a bit of a walk to the nearest subway station, didn't mind it, but maybe an issue for people that are less mobile, but there are bus stops closer to the hotel.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Responsive and courteous. We had a lighting problem in the room and they fixed it quickly. At one other point, one of the housekeeping staff accidentally poured away some half drunk whisky in a glass which my mother had saved for the next day . They apologised straightaway and replaced the whisky for my mum. We didn't even have to ask! Location was fantastic for shops and restaurants. Appreciated those extra steps to ensure our safety and security throughout our time there.

There were lots of road works going on outside so it made it more dusty and the roads more congested. But this is not really the fault of the hotel.

Friendly staff, great looking hotel, on site parking, full bar, mini bar in room, full size bath in ensuite. View from hotel room was lovely. Ideally located between the "downtown" area and the "sea front".

There is EV charging in the car park but not accessible to non-Portuguese drivers (charging needs to be linked to a home account). It'd be nice for the hotel to offer a service the give to business clients to their other guests. The bar is great but only offers small beers and it would be nice to have a larger (0.5L). The air conditioning in my room leaked repeatedly. Fixed once, leaded again. "Fixed" a second time (both done rapidly) but the second fix was just a towel being squeezed into the space next to the machine.

The location it’s good. Close to the Center by car. the staff is really friendly and always ready to help. The view is stunning, the room was clean and the bed it’s comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options. Overall I’m happy with hotel.

I was extremely disappointed with the spa ( pool and jacuzzi) So the pictures on the website don’t correspond to the facilities. The spa is from a different provider( Solinca) and it’s in poor condition. They should let the guest know that the spa is from another company. Suggestion: have more options like chicken ham etc ( not just pork )

After the disappointment in the previous hotel in Porto, this hotel met all expectations. It is a high-quality, traditional five-star hotel that pays attention to details, so we received a bottle of port as a gift along with several bottles of water. Everything in the hotel was impeccable. The receptionist met us in everything, the breakfast was spectacular, the beds were comfortable. Everything was great!

The garage is spacious and has room, but getting to it causes a little dizziness because you have to drive four laps by car to level minus 4.
