really lovely hotel, fabulous location, super friendly staff, perfect rooms, super clean, we had bath robes, lovely big towels, we got a bathtub, the room was huge, TV was great too

sadly there were not many food options for me as i suffer from food allergies (gluten and milk). The evening meal was the most difficult as a lot was made with sauces inside or with gluten around the breakfast was better as they had a Soy milk/yoghurt. Not ideal to be honest as it had sugar added. Also i noticed that most things had oat milk added which is very unhealty and highly inflammatory. So from an allergy point of view not ideal but my kids who had no allergies loved every bit of the hotel, the food, the comfy beds, the TV

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food on offer was good. We asked for a quiet room on the top floor and that was provided. The location is great. We also asked for a later check out, which was provided free of charge. It is a great value for money option in the centre of Malmo. We liked that anti-bacterial hand gel was provided in the hotel.

The weather was hot, and the room would have benefited from air conditioning. The bathroom was very small, and we didn't expect only to have a shower and no bath.

Amazing experience at Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance. Located in the center of beautiful Malmo, the hotel received us with warm and the classical swedish hygee hospitality: best breakfast and dinner with local culinary influence, fish, shrimps, forest fruits and apple jam, warm porridge together with a lot of salads.  At the reception, Peggy Delvret recommended us tour of the city and all the attraction to see in the city. Also was very helpful for our trip from Malmo to Coldplay concert from Gotteborg: best and fastest transport combination and important details to return in the nigh. Very professional, according us all the time and offering all the explanation we needed, taking care of our accommodation.  We remain grateful for this amazing experience and we will return always at Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance, our "home" for our Scandinavian travel. 

The hotel offers both breakfast and supper which is a nice feature. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, same goes for supper. There is an extra charge in case someone wants to add soft drinks or alcohol. The room was nice and clean, however intended for use also by disabled people.

The room was located near the elevator and stairways and we could easily hear the slamming of the doors going to the stairways. The restaurant is popular and can get easily overcrowded. We had to linger around the food and wait until someone left to find a table for 3 persons. The underground parking was full upon arrival and is extremely tight. We made use of the public parking behind the building which is very close (but comes with extra overnight charges).

The staff at dinner were wonderful! They helped me get a vegetarian meal, and were so kind and helpful. The wait staff understood that I was traveling by myself and didn't want to be in the dining room alone, so she helped me to find an 'out of the way' place to sit and eat.

When I arrived to check in, the lady at the desk had trouble finding my reservation. I booked online and checked in online, so I was worried. She then asked me if I was in the right hotel. She made it seem like it was MY fault that she couldn't find my booking. I think the staff could be more careful so that the client doesn't panic that there isn't a room available for them.

The hotel looks very nice, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. I asked to change my room and they promptly gave me another one. Breakfast, dinner and coffee break were included, since I got the room at a deal price I was quite satisfied. Food served has a good quality/variety, not outstanding though.

The first room I was assigned had soldered windows and no aircon. This is quite unacceptable in a 4 stars structure. There was no proper coffee machine, only American coffee. Interiors and furniture would benefit a refurbishment, you can see they didn't renew in many years.

Amazing hotel… perfect place to say in Malmö!! Beautifully stylish and clean hotel - my room was lovely with a great view, beautifully decorated. Beds were super comfortable and clean. The receptionist who checked me in was so kind and sweet, they had taken note that I’m vegetarian and made sure suitable food was on the buffet for the evening meal which I really appreciated!! The food was delicious, especially the home made soups… kitchen staff did an amazing job. Loved the afternoon Fika.. such a lovely bonus to the day. This hotel was amazing in every way, incredible value for money… very close to Lilla Torg and about 7mins walk to the central station. Also situated very close to all the shops with a supermarket across the street. Thank you to all the wonderful staff, enjoyed my stay so much!!

i booked superior room and when we arrived they gave me a room that had nothing to do with the one i have booked! the bed was much much smaller as well as the room in general! i went downstairs and asked them for a room i have booked and in the end they gave me exactly that. the room and the bed was big and very comfortable! the location was very good and the staff nice. the food was ok, not many options but was ok!

in a big room there was just one small window that looked in the middle of inside the hotel , that made it too dark and u needed lights on even during the day

The Hotel Temperance is a gorgeous historical historic hotel within a 10 minute walk from Malmö’s Central Station. It is situated close by several restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines and just a 3 minute walk to one of the old town squares. The hotel offers lovely accommodations, including complimentary breakfast as well as dinner. During our visit in Malmo, the weather was a bit chilly and evenings were cold and windy, so it was great to have the option to stay indoors instead of going out for dinner. Staff was courteous and professional. The hotel offered a cozy ambiance, however was a little dark especially in the rooms. The sauna was nice. I also liked the towel warmer.

I would suggest to upgrade to a larger room, because the rooms, at least in the older part of the hotel, are small although very well equipped.

The hotel is situated in a very beautiful building and had a lot of character and quality workmanship. Service was professional and helpful. The reservation system had just been upgraded and it was the first day for the staff to use the new system. Of course, there weee some delays and it was apparent staff were having some challenges. The staff communicated that they were all experiencing issues navigating through the new system, and did as well as they could to make sure guests were being tended to in as timely manner as possible. Overall our experience was very positive.

Although Ii liked the decor of the room and it was cozy, it was a bit dark. We stayed in the original/older part of the building and the halls are a bit dark too. Our room had a bath tub/ shower which required caution to get in:out of. Water was all over the floor by the end of the shower so having a floor towel was important to have available to decrease potential of slipping.
