Cho Hotel

The location is great! It's close to public transportations as well as surrounded by shops and restaurants. The decor in the entire hotel is unique and nice. Staff is very professional and friendly. There is free laundry on the first floor. The entire second floor is like a huge living room with chairs and free tea/coffee/snacks/ramen noodles. The room is very very quiet. I've stayed at this hotel many times this year and it's becoming my 2nd home!

Room size is quite small. The room with a futon bed feels larger than other rooms with a double bed.

1) Room is very basic without a chair/sofa to sit on or beside table to put our stuffs. 2) No house keeping service throughout my stay due to covid-19 policy 3) Wifi is a bit slow

The location was excellent. It was great that staff can speak English well and able to answer our questions. The rain shower was amazing - water pressure was strong, temperature was easy to adjust. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was convenient that there were English translations for operating the appliances (ie. air conditioning unit). We like that there were lots of outlets and USB connections available to use simultaneously. The guest food amenities on the second floor is a bonus and a unique touch to this property.

The carpet is a bit worn out and feels dirty despite probably being clean. If it was replaced, the room would look perfect. Some cutlery would have been nice too.

The location is awesome, just walk a few blocks down from the hotel you will see the bustling area of Ximending. Every corning in Ximen is just filled with options of food. Distance from the exit of the Metro is about 5-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel has a laundry area for your own use which includes washing machine and dryer, they also provide washing powder as well. Second floor (Social area) of the hotel does provide cup noodles/snacks and drinks for those staying in the hotel for free.

The room is pretty small but cozy, because it is small, the door is near the bed and the room is not super soundproof. You are able to hear others when they are conversing in the corridor and also when the door is closing.

Loved the hotel's rustic decor! Our rooms were clean and we all loved the lounge area with a kids' play area and free snacks. The location was great, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the Xi Men Ding area and train station on foot. Staff were always friendly and ready to help. We also appreciate the free washing machine/dryers, and that the baby cot and baby bathtub that we requested for were already in the room when we checked-in.

One of our Deluxe Double Room was a bit small (I think the layouts differ between rooms) such that we didn't have space to fully open 2 luggages. Also note that the Quadruple Room is in a different building/area (right next door) from the Deluxe Double Rooms which could be inconvenient for those traveling in a bigger group.

The location is good - 5 mins walk to Ximending and there are many eateries (some 24hrs) around the hotel. The 2nd floor area with the refreshments are great - instant noodles, hot/cold/soft drinks, sandwiches and plenty snacks available. Would like to make a special mention of the fantastic customer service we experienced with hotel staff, Neon. He was very helpful and friendly. Made great suggestions to improve our itinerary in Taipei. Provided great shopping tips too :). He made our stay a very comfortable and warm one. Thank you Neon and look forward to seeing you again. The room (quad) was a little tight for a family of 4 (2 young kids) with luggage. Manageable still but would be great if it was bigger :)

This is my first trip to Taiwan with my family. We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. The interior design of the hotel is very unique. Location is superb. There are many good eateries around. Very near to Ximending MTR station. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly, especially Neon. When we asked for recommendations of accessories shop, he even personally took us to the shop during his break. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Taipei in the future.

Honestly book this hotel right now if you’re going to Taipei. You won’t regret it. The hotel is very clean and cozy with a really amazing retro style concept. It also has a free retro snack amenities bar with ayce instant noodles, snacks & drinks which was a really nice treat. However, I would like to especially call out one of the staff’s customer service (his name is Neon) to be nothing short of exceptional. I promise this isn’t a sponsored post nor do I post reviews often. Aside from being trilingual (English, Mandarin & Korean), Neon went above and beyond to make sure my partner and my stay to be perfect. He was very efficient & professional to accommodate us when we require a different room & extended stay from our original booking. Offering us a bath bomb as part of having a bathtub in our suite was a really nice personal touch. He is also very knowledgeable about the local area and can quickly point out known attractions and things to do which was very helpful. Neon’s cheery greeting & smile legit brightens our day every time we walk into the door. This type of service is the reason why we will book this hotel again when we return to Taipei

The location is fantastic, and is located in the heart of a lively district in Taipei, but without a real noise issue. Plenty of restaurants, attractions, and a metro station within easy walking distance. The room was as expected, and with an unexpectedly large bathroom (and a very nice one). The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. When I arrived they gave me a welcome package which included several nice things, including complimentary postcards for me to mail (and their expense). The entire second floor is a lounge with complimentary snacks. Plus, the complimentary on-site laundry really made my travels easier. I would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to others. I definitely felt welcomed.

The plumbing isn't very resilient, and you cannot flush toilet paper. For being in the heart of a major city I was a little surprised. Aside from this my stay was great. 100% would stay here again!

Location is fantastic as it is mins walk from MRT. The pathway condition has slopes making it to push luggages around. Free laundry service with dryer in place. Staff is extremely friendly and well verse in many languages.

The room is really small. The walkway is only 5 steps long. You are unable to walk in the room after putting out 2 luggages. which makes it difficult to open the main door or toilet. every door opening requires us to shift the luggages again. and there isnt much storage space. so lying your stuff out and around is impossible. The bed is placed on a platform. The room is small and there is no night light. Making bedtime bathroom trips extremely dangerous. We tripped many times.
