Housekeeping was very diligent and thorough! The provided toiletries were of nice quality. :) Bed is big and comfortable, room temperature is comfortable and the closet has sufficient hangers. The room is equipped with a humidifier, kettle, mini fridge, and bottles of water are replenished daily.

Only wish there were more towel hooks or racks in the bathroom! The washer is a washer-dryer all-in-one so drying takes a long time and you might encounter the machine being used by someone else. The nearest laundromat is a not-so-short walk away so those who are looking to do laundry frequently may find this frustrating!

The location was excellent. The staff was helpful. Good enough for short stay as we don't spend a lot of time in the room.

The location is great. Lots of good and cheap eats like McDonalds, Sukiya and other food chains, as well as local fare near the hotel. Ximending is on the left side, first left. There are three 7-11 convenience stores near the hotel. Nearest one is to the right across from the walking street entrance of Don Don Donki. Area starts to get lively around 5-6PM and gets quiet at just after 1AM. Ximen station is around a 5 min walk. The opposite mall specializes in electronics and accessories. Starbucks nearest is Eslite mall. just into the street where the TGI Fridays at (look for the big "amba" sign. The other one is at the walking street. Most currency exchange places near the hotel are banks, and they do close early by mid-afternoon to a bit after noon. Alternatives are at the Far Eastern Taipei Department Store infront of Ximen Station Exit 3 and it closes at around 9PM. Hotel staff are always helpful and kind. Very professional. And easy to talk to regarding room or travel requests and information about the local area. The room is spacious enough for two people, but if you're carrying larger suitcases, it might become a bit cramped. But there are other room options that can solve that. The view is okay, some rooms have views of the street below, others are facing the roof of the adjacent building. Breakfast was a bit monotonous on some choices but filling as always. The menu is mostly Asian fare, bacon and sausages are sometimes served alternatively. The quality is consistently good standard and hot.

If you aren't familiar with the area, you'll definitely get lost the first time you arrive. Just remember where Don Don Donki is and you'll be fine. Always get a hotel calling card just in case you'll need a taxi at some point. Easier than using Google Maps. Some types of rooms don't have doors for the bathroom, but other rooms have. But the ones that don't have a door aren't a problem that much since there is a turn before the actual bathroom itself. Other than that, nothing much. Everything during the stay was okay.

Breakfast is excellent. Quiet and safe hotel. The staff is really good, the hotel manager is polite and helpful. The hotel and rooms are clean. In the bathroom, there is a special toilet bowl: heated seat, bottom wash with hot water, drying with hot air:) There are special details that not many hotels have: - There is a fire extinguisher in the rooms. I have not seen it in other hotels so far. This is a special detail in terms of safety. - There are international plug adapters attached to the sockets in the rooms. This is also a very special detail. - In case of emergency, a special crane system was put in the room for descending down from the window in the room for rescue purposes. this is a very special detail and saves lives in case of emergency. - There are special shower heads in the bathroom:)

Your staff was very helpful, particularly Bibi. She is marvelous. Breakfast was good. Coffee and tea are good. The salad was good.

Toilet lights were bad, too dark. Spot light above the toilet bowl can not be turned on. It was very dark and uncomfortable. The handheld shower head was difficult to turn on. Very complex shower system. Overall, room lightings were lousy. At night, you can only either turn off all or keep a light shining to you from the door. One more light switch would help to turn on the LED lights next to the window. It is more appropriate for sleeping light.

Large and yummy breakfast variety, good location close to main Ximending shopping and night market area, and close enough to public transport options (MRT, bus). Shower is also nice, and good value for money.

One elevator only so might wait quite a while to use, luggage storage before check-in and after checkout not very secure as the luggages are left unattended in the public area next to the elevator.

Great location for it is in the middle of famous Ximending. Heavy and sumptuous breakfast. Very clean room, hallway, lobby and dining areas. Courteous and friendly staff. Accommodating to guest’s needs

Some rooms don’t have door in the toilet. Minimal variation in the breakfast menu during the 5 nights stay. At times fire exit is blocked with hotel’s linen and other supplies. Not safe in case of emergencies.

Location was perfect, Ximending right at corner of the hotel. Train station is just a short 5 mins walk - pretty much sheltered along the way too.

The lift! I feel that there should be more than 1 lift in the building for hotel guests. There was only one lift and it could take a long time during peak hours, esp during breakfast. We stayed on the 7th floor so most days we took the stairs down.

Spacious room, everything I needed, lots of storage options in the room.

Not much, I would say leave the aircon settings as they are, if you can clearly see someone is staying in the room (ie. their things are around) - that was the only annoying thing.

Location was excellent , just behind the walking street and super central , 1st best location to walk about .. staff were pleasant and helpful too
