Place was clean and positioned.

I booked an early check-in and was scoffed at and told to come back when it was time. I had to politely stand my ground at be assertive that I had confirmation of my early check-in. I showed her the email and when I did that she called the manager. Assuming I didn't speak Chinese she disapprovingly 'allowed' me to check in early by another attendant without acknowledgement and reference to where breakfast or other facilities were in the hotel. It just made it uncomfortable after a travel day. Everyone else was nice and polite. It was a negative first impression.

Definitely the location, its just directly on the opposite street of Ximenting walking district and the Ximen MRT is almost at door step. Particularly like the self check-in and check-out process, scanning the passport, payment and programming of room keys can all be done at self-help machine, saving alot of time especially no need to queue up and compete with big tour groups checking in! The room size is also great and the bed was comfortable, level of cleanliness is acceptable, overall a good stay, will stay again next time when in Taipei

We stayed for 4 nights and the breakfast menu hardly had any changes/variations, it is very Asian and quite limited consisting of mainly fried noodles and rice, meat cooked in soysauce, cabbages, salads, bread and plain buns, porridge and several condiments, tropical fruits, coffee and juice from dispensers

Checkout in and check out efficiency was exemplary - system and staff wise. Love the room size/ space. The hotel let us rent umbrellas for rainy days - big thanks! Excellent hotel location- near to shops and train station. Taiwan’s public transport is excellent - with google map you can travel freely at own pace! Love the friendly and considerate people of Taiwan.

The breakfast buffet. It did not have continental breakfast. Some days we skipped breakfast , and most days we ate a little. Secondly, people were smoking in the early hrs past midnight! Hotel should ban this habit, or fine! Would be nice to have extra pillows for our king bed room. Each of us have a pretty flat pillow.

The central location was incredibly convenient, and the spacious family room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast options were great, though I suggest adding more choices for Western-style food to enhance the experience further. I have a wonderful time. Looking forward to returning!

Every aspect of my stay was truly remarkable. The dedication to guest comfort and satisfaction is evident. As a small suggestion to elevate the experience even further, I'd like to propose the addition of Retractable Adjustable and Lockable Cloths line in the bathroom for guests to conveniently hang their clothes. This thoughtful detail would be a wonderful touch.

location is superb, metro is just down below the property and across the street is the night market/shopping district. A lot of restaurants in the vicinity. Room was cleaned and provided with coffee, tea and water on a daily basis. Mostly enjoyed the bidet toilet, feels like I’m in Japan again.

a bit pricey for the room. Have traveled most of East Asia and Europe. Stayed in the same star hotels and by far it’s the most expensive. Room doesn’t have closet/wardrobe, our clothes were in our luggage the whole time and placed at the foot of our bed. Price could have been compensated by the free breakfast. Daily, took a peek of the breakfast and tried only once as the choices and the taste are not that great. I’m Asian, I should have enjoyed the cuisine but it was a disappointment. Some receptionist are nice others are showing no interest in your queries. I assumed it’s the language, but could have worn some smile, it’s customer service after all.

The location was great - very central and beside shopping area and Ximin station (especially the Ximin exit for wheelchair users — this was a huge plus!). Because we were travelling with someone in a wheelchair, we really liked the guest ramp and over-all accessibility, especially the accessible room and bathroom. The breakfast buffet was extensive - we had a vegan eater in our group and the choices included lots of vegetables. Good selection of fruits and coffee! I wish there was more western food but it’s not a big deal. Finally the staff were helpful esp in booking cabs.

The bidet in our bathroom didn't work, and there was no bidet in the accessible bathroom, which was surprising.

hotel is a travel tour hotspot, very crowded but very efficient and clean. room is small but compact and have the required amenities. buffet breakfast is nice with reasonable choices. it's right beside Ximen station, please use exit 4 as there's escalator. exit 5 is nearer but need to walk up stairs. can easily cross over to Ximending by using the mrt underpass (use exit 6). it's only 1 stop away to Taipei Main Station. there's water filter machine on the floors and coin laundry on L6.

only few machines on laundry room for such a big hotel. should add a few more baskets in laundry room so washed clothes can be put in if the owners not there yet to remove. the room do not have enough hooks to hang coat and towels. toilet has only one hook but room meant for 2.

The hotel is in a convenient location to travel and there are many shopping place. The room, bathroom is a good size, not too small and the pillows and mattress are very great!!! Breakfast has quite a good variety ^^

In my opinion, I think breakfast time was too crowded. About the room, I heard the sound of people talking outside the room and heard the sound of the shower the room next to, it is very loud and the old carpet has stains, the carpet should be replaced.

The location is very accessible to shopping and food district and just a 5 mins walk from train station. The staff are are very accommodating as well. We arrived late due to delayed flight , but they made sure that the room was ready and comfortable for us to rest. They accommodated our request for packed breakfast meal due to early morning flight departure. We will stay again here on our future trip to Taipei. Highly recommendable.

The location is great, just round the corner of Ximen Train Station.

The room is a bit run down, shower head cannot be placed facing forward as holder is spoiled. The shower water was difficult to control, took me a while to figure out how to use it. There were only 3 hangers available in the room. Breakfast area staff told me that I need to wear my mask before entering but another day, I saw others entering without masks, seems a bit double standard. Food could have improved to include international food like ham, bacon, beans, sausages instead of just mostly local dishes.
