Adelphi Grande Sukhumvit

Very comfy rooms and beds. Nice swimming pool area. Very effective room cleaning, and great amenities, like the detergent for the washing machine is furnished for example! Location in a calm street but close to Sukhumvit and Emquartier.

The bathroom doesn't smell very good. Impossible to get normal water temperature, it alternates between too hot and too cold all the time. Sometimes there are power outages at night, and sometimes the aircon doesn't restart when the electricity comes back, so you wake up in the morning and it's 30°C in the room.

Excellent facilities in the room, I had a washer/dryer combo machine in the room and if I wanted to cook some noodles I could with the cooking kit requested from reception. I was remote working and had 125+ mbps download on the wifi. Water pressure was good as well at high floor and Japanese toilet in bathroom. The hotel is in a good location, close to BTS Phrom Phong, about a 5-10 minute walk. 7/11 and Tops, plus street vendors selling food and coffee at the start of the soi. Friendly staff, great housekeeping. Overall I would recommend this place to stay

Downside was that there was another building towering over the pool, so that only got sun between 9AM and approximately 12PM, therefore not great for sunbathing after a morning/afternoon of exploring

Very convenient location, it’s about a 5-10 min walk to Phrom Phong BTS, Emquartier and Emporium. The staff are very friendly and responsive, facilities are basic but sufficient and clean. As it had a kitchenette and a washer/ dryer it was very convenient, especially as we had an infant with us.

You need to ask the staff to show you how to put the dryer on the right setting if you need to use it. Our shower was over a bath tub and the water from the shower head kept splashing out onto the floor which created big puddles of water which isn’t ideal.

I found the location very good. At first I used the Bolt app to book taxis, but after waiting 30 minutes for a taxi to have a confirmed booking cancelled 8 minutes from arrival I learned to use the BTS which is only a 10 minute walk away. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and polite. The breakfast was also good for me as a pescatarian. I also took advantage of the free yoga session which happens on a Sunday. I would stay here again as the price was reasonable for the facilities provided and I would highly recommend the hotel!

After careful consideration of hotels we settled on the Adelphi for our first 6 nights of a 3 month stay in Thailand and were not disapointed. We are travelling with our 8 month old daughter so an aparthotel was a must. Pros - we upgraded with a post booking lottery and got a 1 bedroom grand suite. This was on an elevated floor (Room 1811) so got a fantastic view. - location was down a dead end road off a very busy street but very quiet. 5 min walk to 7-11 and 7 min walk to supermarket. Emquartier mall was 12 mom walk. - very spacious - Clean and modern with smart TVs and even a smart toilet - nice kitchen area with washing machine and microwave - pool area was good just a little bit shades after mid morning - well equipped gym - excellent WiFi - lovely big bathroom - all staff were lovely especially reception staff who allowed us to check in early on day one after a long flight which was greatly appreciated Overall, a superb stay in Bangkok at the Aldephi. Cons (difficult so being over critical) - kitchen could have had a few more pieces on equipment - sofa in the lounge was leather and not that comfortable for longer periods at night

Staff is very nice and helpful. The room (Deluxe Suite) was ok and clean. Beds are comfortable if you like a bit harder mattresses. The seating area definitely is a plus after a a day of sightseeing and/or shopping. the pool is clean and big enough to really swim. The location is convenient. It is quiet in a cul-de-sac. A 5 min walk away from the nearest BTS station and shopping malls.

The room was a bit smaller than expected. Maybe if you include the spacious bathroom you have the 40m2 that they claimed it would have. The choice of the food at the breakfast buffet is a bit limited. What is really missing is Thai noodle soup.

Fourth time we have stayed here - this time with two more rooms for our family who enjoyed it as much as we did. We love the fact that the hotel is in a quiet location yet close to the Sky Train, and the shopping malls of MQuartier and Emporium. When we return to the hotel, there is such a feeling of calm, and we feel the quiet, happy staff contribute to that. We always like breakfast in the restaurant and the chefs there can produce any kind of eggs. We will return soon.

It was my favorite hotel in Bangkok that we were staying for the last 10 years. I love the location in Sukhumvit close the Emporium, sky train and that the hotel is on a dead end street so it is quite quiet. The staff is amazing. The receptionist went above and beyond to meet our needs and accommodate our desires. The bellboys are also extremely helpful and with great manners.

It makes me sad because since our last visit the rooms degraded a lot. It is not as clean as it was and the new renovations that happened since our last stay (4 years ago) killed the atmosphere in the room that we liked so much much before. The wooden floor was replaced by a cheap plastic one, the couch looks like a train couch now, etc, etc. So many classes down now! And the cleanness is way way down.

Close to BTS. Quiet area; Cul de sac. One 7/11 nearby. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out time were very short. They booked a taxi for us. There's a shuttle service to go to main road. Near the BTS, there's a large shopping mall with a great foodcourt in the basement. The bookshop upstairs of the mall is recommended for kids. Washing machine was smooth and fully functional. Room was clean. Housekeeping was good.

Breakfast was not of varieties for people around the world. Restaurant and lobby cafe might be kept open at least till 12 am.
