Staff care and consideration plus their excellent English. Environment calm, relaxed and traditional. In these current times, things are hard, first to survive and second to develop as customers begin to return. This is a transitional stage but you can see how everyone works both as a flexible and competent team. In the past have stayed at many large riverside hotels with excellent service. This smaller properties offers similar amenities and hospitality but with the extra person touch - a ‘breath of air’ compared to big organisations. Thank you. I recommend staying here and giving time to catch your breath in a calm, traditional Thai environment.

Apprehensively waiting at a run down car park to be taken down a ramshackle of a soi to the hotel. A better, even defined waiting area with pictures of what to expect would have allayed fears.

Lovely breakfast in the restaurant which is on the river where you can sit and watch the world of water craft cruising up and down. The hotel has a golf cart which taxis me out to the main road which is fabulous. The hotel is within walking distance of the ICONSIAM shopping centre with excellent street food section and floors of retail and services. The piers for the dinner cruise & ferries are located at the back or it could be the front of the shopping centre. The Skyrail or Monorail is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and will take you all over Bangkok. The staff are excellent at communicating with me prior to my arrival with super helpful options for transport to Bangkok. The level of service whilst I stayed was also excellent. They are happy to help with anything booking dinner cruises, taxis etc.

Wow! What a unique find in the heart of the city. If you’re looking for a romantic staycation in these testing times pay Amdaeng a visit. Such a quaint little place. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They served us both dinner, breakfast and cocktails from our bedroom balcony, which made us feel special and extra safe. The hotel is small so it’s quiet, clean and cosy. Don’t forget to check out the bubble bath - what a treat! Thank you Amdaeng for helping us celebrate our 8 year anniversary during a pandemic! 🤗

The property was very charming and unique. They pay attention to all the little details, air con on for when we arrived, nice toiletries, great sheets, very clean. What made the stay even more superb was the staff. So helpful and welcoming. Peter had suggestions for everything, we had the best drinks of our trip here prepared by Moo (international award winner cocktail maker) and Phon. Also lovely were Tiger and Somsak. The guys even invited us round their table for dinner and shared their authentic Thai cuisine. We are back in Bangkok in September and will be returning here. 2 weeks in to our travel and we haven’t found a hotel that comes close for the price.

It was comfortable stay with warm welcome in friendly atmoshpere by the staff. My family enjoyed the greens of the tree and bird singing through the window in a beautiful morning sunshine. The breakfast at the outdoor table was good with the peaceful scenary of the river Chao Praya. Dinner was even better, especially the desserts were so tasty and refreshing. I'd like to recommand a dinner here, even if not staying in the hotel.

Parking lot is a liittle bit away (3-5mins on foot) from the hotel, but we enjoyed the shuttle (looks like a enlogated golf cart) which was offered anytime for free.

The architecture of the exterior was intriguing, while the inside of lobby, the stairs, and the room were very atmospheric, almost like being in a film noir. Large room, comfortable bed, very efficient air conditioner. Our third floor room on the front, with a balcony overlooking the river, gave us a unique view of Bangkok.

The facility was a little worn around the edges, and the hotel is a bit off the beaten path. Still, it`s a great place to stay, tons of character.

This place was exceptional. A real gem. The experience was delightful. such a charming hotel. I will be back to this place.

The atmosphere was the best, you feel able to pause and feel relaxed easily. There is so many nice touches, from the open lift to your room, the rooms features. that bath was amazing. someone else commented seeing it in person is better than the photos. well yes it is, the photos are amazing so be prepared for a better experience than you imagine at the beginning. The breakfast was nice, coffee alright too.

The staff were incredible and attentive, breakfast was very good. Right on the shore so great views and the room was beautifully decorated.

Everything was great. It’s on the other side of the river from most attractions (grand palace, etc) so it is necessary to take the boat/taxi, but it’s neither too far nor expensive.

Lovely staff (English needs some improvement, but manageable). Design of facilities rooms unusual... But warming and tasteful. Location good, though I wish the pier next door was open! Still, 100B to Chinatown is fine! Food superb from a delicious menu!

Some water splashing in bathroom needs some better controls than rolled up towels! Might I suggest better signage (maybe lighting) for when guests arrive at night?
