HOSTEL URBY

Less than 5 mins walk to the main street of Chinatown, but far enough to have quiet evenings. Such nice staff and gave tips and advice about anything. Very tall ceilings and peaceful communal areas, especially the rooftop was relaxing with chilled music and brilliant views of the river; wished I'd spent more time up there. Kitchen area with fridge/freezer facilities available. Tall cubicles in dorm rooms, but may be scary high if you're on the top bunk. Comes with good size luggage storage under the bed, but remember to bring your own padlock. 10-13mins walk to nearest metro station and 5mins to the nearest ferry stop.

The hostel is really stylish and cozy, we has a separate double room which was a bit small but still great for a hostel. AC worked fine. Shared bathrooms and toilets are comfortable and clean. The terrace with river view is really the coolest place of all! It was the main reason we chose this hostel, and it didn't disappoint! I't really hot to sit outside during daytime, but very comfortable and pleasant at night, there's plenty of space to sit and lie down and a very good chill music playing in the evening. The staff is great and super kind!

– no elevator in the building, steep stairs, this might be a problem if you have large and heavy suitcases. Nothing else really.

Room AC was good, friendly stuff, bar at the rooftop with a river view, good bathroom, they lent me a padlock for the locker without any fee, bunk bed very private with 2 layers of curtains, so even when light was on, it would still be dark, female dorm available, which is not everywhere!

No AC on common rooms / bathroom. No breakfast available. Location is ok but I didn’t like Chinatown, and that’s where the hostel is located. One of the showers drain was not draining, so I had to switch to another one in the middle of my shower.

This is the second time I stayed, the experience was very good, I slept soundly, and the front desk was as welcoming as ever

Located in Chinatown with a very friendly owner. Two fairly large and comfortable common areas. Cool patio with a nice view of the river, which is also connected to a café and bar with discounts for guests of the hostel. Bed was quite comfortable and relatively spacious, had hooks to hang things and a privacy curtain.

Room had an odd smell. Lots of ants around; a bunch of them showed up in my bed on my last night. Adjoining café and bar are a little on the expensive side. No elevator; you have to walk up the stairs to get to the hostel. Bathrooms are clean but they do tend to flood a bit.

The stuff was awesome. The guys are so sweet. One took many people from the Hostel to a hotpot place and the other one teaches us a Thai card game. The bed was big and the curtains amazing to have some privacy. The highlight of the Hostel is the outside terrace with a fantastic view all over Bangkok.

There are many stairs you have to climb without and elevator. Without the luggage it's way easier. Plus (nothing the Hostel itself can improve) female solo traveller have to walk to a few dark alleys until the will reach Chinatown. Nothing for a girl/women who is scared easily. But just to say it - Thailand still feels extremely safe!

I enjoyed my time at Urby very, the staffs were super super helpful and friendly 🥰 which made my time in Bangkok more enjoyable. Thanks to all staff's 🥰 I love the location , rooftop deck of the river Amazing!!!, short walk to Chinatown, Klong ong ang walking street, little india ,and short walk to all the majestic temples.

I prefer the mattress be little softer, but it's not too bad at all ,with the room rate and river front it's so worth it! Highly recommend it. Linens were clean ,rooms , bathrooms were clean. Almost forgot, key card was not working probably, I had to try a few times, again no big deal for me.

The river deck is awesome, it’s very modern decor, pretty clean. I chose this because it was walking distant to the 12go station and I had to go get my train ticket in the morning. If you have to stay in Bangkok this is a good choice.

Just Bangkok is gross, but that’s nothing against the property it was good. Lots of stairs

the location, staff and space was great. tucked away from the craziness of China town but close enough to walk in minutes. The staff was so kind. I really enjoyed my stay.

the only little issue since I was traveling solo my private room was a bit close to the cafe bar and it was a bit noisy some nights. But overall it wasn’t a big issue.

The location is very convenient and it is a good place to integrate into the local environment. The accommodation facilities are complete, the service is attentive, the wine in the bar is delicious, the river view is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic

It would be nice if there were shelves or something like that inside the bed.
